“Great tool to track inventory and auto book!
Pros
I use Booqable to track inventory and book new clients. With the implementation on our website, visitors can automatically book our equipment with a live availability calendar.
Cons
Setting it up the way I wanted took some effort. The main issue was the vast customization options, which offer many choices but also require a lot of navigation. Luckily, the support team is always there to help, even with screen recordings!

Pros
Customers find it quite easy to navigate scheduling on our website. As the admin, I find the back end of the software fairly intuitive. While it takes some time to learn all the features, I feel I'm on the path to mastering them. I really appreciate having quick access to customer support.
Cons
One issue I've noticed is that if a customer selects a date range and an item is unavailable, closing and reopening the page saves that date range, showing "Unavailable" instead of resetting to "Available." I also wish I could set different pick-up times for various items. We have three saunas, and as far as I know, I can only choose one time for all units. I'll need to ask support about this. Additionally, I wish the process for returning safety deposits was clearer. I want to be sure my guests receive their deposit back once I approve it. Our town has different tax amounts based on the service location, so it would be handy if the system could recognize addresses as either in-city or out-of-city limits to charge the correct tax amounts. Currently, I either overcharge or undercharge people.

Nothing. I can't reach anyone by phone, and it feels like you're taking advantage of people who don't want to use your service if it doesn't suit them.
Cons

“A solid rental platform for a short-term rental business.

Booqable is relatively easy to set up and doesn't require building a website from scratch to create a unique shop presence.
Cons
Booqable is clearly designed for short-term rentals. It's simple if you take full payment upfront for a simple fee. However, it has some quirks with long-term monthly contracts. The pricing display requires a workaround with the Booqable team's help. The most unusual part is expressing your first month's rental payment as a percentage of the total contract. Matching this to the advertised monthly rental rate is nearly impossible. Additionally, there is no option for automatic recurring payments, so your staff has to manually process each rental payment on the agreed-upon monthly date. If you do short-term rentals, these issues won't arise.
