Functional, flexible, and reliable software. Great customer service.

Pros

Cheqroom works great for us. It's stable, functional, and has all the features and options we need. When we have questions or problems, customer service is extremely good, fast, knowledgeable, and friendly.

Cons

The UI usability is good but not great. Even experienced users sometimes make mistakes because the correct button or feature isn't prominent on certain screens.

Cheqroom for equipment deployment and inventory

Pros

I like the intuitive functionalities. It's extremely easy to generate items and profiles. Additionally, I find it convenient to establish and remove fields as required.

Cons

I wish to customize the emails sent to customers. They often look like spam, and I would like to tailor the messages to our use and personnel.

Great way of keeping equipment in order

Pros

We have 40-50 different pieces of equipment and previously used the equipment options in Microsoft Outlook, which became sluggish with so much gear. Cheqroom allows us to store and book out more equipment and organizes it in a way that's easy to see what's available.

Cons

It would be useful to edit previous bookings. My team often forgets to check in equipment, so Cheqroom shows longer booking durations. Being able to edit the booking start time would also be nice since we sometimes forget to check out equipment on time.

Cheqroom Review

Pros

The software makes tracking equipment quick and easy. The program is visually appealing and intuitive.

Cons

There are minor glitches when searching for equipment, locations, etc. Refreshing or logging out and back in usually fixes the issue.

Highly Approachable Inventory Management

Pros

Setting up my inventory was effortless, and the customer support has been incredibly responsive.

Cons

Managing my organization, which includes various internal locations and diverse user groups like students and faculty, requires more detailed control over availability, hours, and reservations by location.

Technology Lending Library

Pros

I value that customers can check product availability and manage their own bookings. It's handy that a single booking can cover multiple items. The notification choices for both customers and administrators are useful, and the capability to personalize these alerts is impressive! Our customers also love using the mobile application.

Cons

Currently, there's no option to include holidays and office closure days, which poses challenges for us as we need to manually check each reservation. Additionally, not being able to limit reservation lengths is another issue we face.

Life-changing equipment management software

Pros

This software has greatly simplified my workflow. Previously, we used separate systems for library checkouts, Google Sheets for reservations, and printed sheets for accessories. Now, everything is consolidated in Cheqroom. It automatically generates PDFs that are emailed to students, freeing up my time for other tasks. I can't imagine going back to the old way!

Cons

Setting up certain aspects can be a bit intricate, but their support team is always available to guide through any issues.

This can do almost everything you need

Pros

I value the capability to automate emails, prompts, and notifications, which saves me from manually chasing overdue items.

Cons

The calendar is not useful for my specific needs; all I see are lengthy periods marked with obscure content.

Does everything we need it to, we have real accountability now

Pros

It's quite intuitive to navigate. The software is simple, and having the app accessible on both phone and iPad is fantastic.

Cons

While there are many reports available, none of them seem to offer a clear, simple view of my activity and equipment checkouts.

Cheqroom, some good, some needs work

Pros

The QR code scanner is the highlight of the app. It records every action, which is incredibly useful for tracking who did what. The ability to add photos is also beneficial.

Cons

I've previously raised concerns with Cheqroom about issues like not being able to see serial numbers in the app (due to the keyboard covering it). I also wish that photos and other attached information from reservations carried over to the checkout process. Reviewing checkouts and check-ins is important to me, but I can't access the photos taken during reservations. Lastly, when adding products, I'd like the option to use existing photos already in our database for identical items.

How Cheqroom saved our sanity

Pros

Cheqroom is exceptionally intuitive for our daily equipment checkouts. We likeits ease of use, the prompt alerts for overdue items, and the constant awareness of who has which items.

Cons

We haven't found a single thing we dislike about Cheqroom. It consistently performs well, and the efficiency when items are QR coded is impressive!

Cheqroom Review

Pros

It's very intuitive and convenient, offering self-service capabilities and the ability to book equipment hourly. The software is continuously updated and adapted based on feedback, with excellent customer service and a great mobile app that students find easy to use.

Cons

Most of the issues have been addressed. The main problem we still encounter is that authorization emails often get marked as spam by our servers, a common issue across various platforms.

CheqRoom helps track equipment with minimal effort

Pros

In my search for asset management software, Cheqroom stood out for its quick setup and ability to find asset pictures online, eliminating the need for manual uploads.

Cons

The mobile app is often buggy and doesn't function exactly like the desktop version. Freelancers, in particular, seem confused by the asset management and struggle to locate items. Despite the convenience of the desktop version being less frequent, I generally steer them toward using it.

Pros

Excellent product for easy asset management

Pros

I value every part of it, the functionality, intuitive interface, and the impressive dashboard!

Cons

It would be beneficial to have more features added, improved sorting options for locations (especially for custody-related purposes), and perhaps more flexibility in tracking items purchased from specific companies.

A great inventory system!

Pros

Cheqroom provides our lab with the organizational framework needed to manage various types of inventory, from drone aircraft to batteries and sensors. Being able to assign inventory to different locations, create kits, flag equipment, and make reservations well in advance of busy field seasons is invaluable.

Cons

Honestly, we haven't encountered any complaints so far. We've been using the software for less than a year, and it's been smooth sailing.

Getting our assets managed with Cheqroom has been quick and easy.

Pros

Knowing the exact location of our equipment and who has it at any time is crucial, especially when dealing with multiple locations.

Cons

The software isn't as adaptable as I'd like in terms of customizing how certain actions are triggered. Since we use it in a customer-facing environment, receiving notifications when a customer is automatically contacted would be a significant improvement.
