“development is booming”
Pros
Since Newedge rolled out Cityworks for our local government, the switch has gone really well and the system has been very user-friendly. It's made development work in Beaumont, Texas much more convenient than before. One of the biggest benefits is that contractors can now submit development plans remotely instead of having to come to Beaumont in person and that has really helped development take off.
Cons
Only thing I miss is getting office updates. I know Respond is on the way and we're aware of that but honestly, I've always liked Office.

“Clean UX with Esri fit”
Pros
Getting around the system feels simple and the interface has a clean, polished look. The integration with Esri also works really well and fits smoothly into our workflow.
Cons
One frustrating part is that the Respond UI tends to shift around a lot while clicking through and navigating which has been annoying for my users. PLL is also complicated to administer because of all the little nuances and notifications are difficult to manage and still feel limited in what they can actually do.
