Flexibility is the Key

Pros

I particularly like the simple interface used by crews to enter data (TWC). The Asset Spec section is flexible and easy to expand, and the ability to write rules enhances flexibility and workflow automation. The capability to attach multiple assets to a work order and use the data hub is crucial for us. Procedures that update asset specs add another layer of efficiency.

Cons

The integration with GIS is weak, and there's room for improvement in reporting capabilities. Currently, we use BI to extract data from Asset Specs using Qlik Sense.

Benefits of using Maintenance Connection

Pros

Configuring MC is far easier than with other vendors I've worked with. Most user options can be adjusted by the local administrator with simple tick box settings. The built-in reporting and dashboard suite is intuitive for customizing reports and dashboards to suit our company's unique needs.

Cons

As we start using more features at a higher level, we encounter small bugs. However, these don't affect basic functionality, and the support team effectively communicates issues to developers for resolution.

Pros

It's user-friendly and packed with features. While there's a lot to learn, the software's ease of use makes the process enjoyable. I've been using it for nearly three years alongside five other computer systems, and this one stands out.

Cons

There's no designated field to include both PO and PR numbers or specify the recipient when placing an order.

Work orders and procedures are great, reporting is complicated

Pros

Generating work orders, whether automated or manual, is simple with Maintenance Connection. Adding time and attaching procedures to work orders is equally uncomplicated.

Cons

Creating specific reports often requires assistance from customer support to uncover hidden features and terminology unfamiliar to me. The offline version sometimes struggles with loading or fails to pull up work orders promptly, extending the process of releasing them back to CMMS.

By far the best value CMMS

Pros

The Maintenance Connection reporting engine is exceptional. Creating custom reports is simple without needing external consultants. The "Smart Reports" feature allows direct linking back to source data, such as navigating from a purchasing report to a specific PO with just a click.

Cons

Currently, I have no concerns. Whenever issues or needed enhancements arise, the Maintenance Connection Team listens and addresses them promptly.

I like the linear approach Maintenance Connection takes with work orders, PMs, and the asset tree.

Cons

Getting desired results from reports can be challenging, and making amendments isn't simple. Restructuring our program seems daunting and is not something I look forward to.

The available functionalities include a work order system, preventive maintenance scheduling/tracking, purchase order processing, and asset management. There's a wide range of features suitable for various applications. Their customer support surpasses that of similar software.

Cons

Some specific features of the program don't integrate well with each other, or tasks that seem simple require additional steps or mouse clicks to complete. Since the last update, I've encountered more issues. I'm not particularly fond of this update. Additionally, I find it cumbersome to track most work orders by target dates.

This software offers options for nearly everything. We utilize it not only for maintenance but also for handling purchase orders, work orders, document control, and tracking receiving/accounting in both USD and CAD.

Cons

As a user, I like the capability to submit and monitor work orders directed to facilities. This facilitates efficient task organization and assignment to our team. The interface is intuitive and simple to use.

Cons

I'm not familiar with the programming aspect, but I wonder if there's a way to save specific information. Currently, navigating through complex drop-down menus for each section is challenging due to the numerous categories.
