Maintenance Connection is User Friendly

Pros

I find it easy to arrange work orders for staff members.

Cons

Some support issues turn out to be functionalities that are not available in the system. To suggest improvements, you must submit an "idea" for future updates.

Maintenance Connection Review

Pros

I find Maintenance Connection versatile with its wide range of functionalities. For someone willing to invest time and effort, it can be incredibly valuable.

Cons

The Good, and the Bad

Pros

Using MC for inventory management and maintaining our internal facilities through work orders has been excellent.

Cons

We've been attempting to implement the MC Kinetic application for our nationwide service team since February 2023. Despite paying for multiple licenses and extensive technical support, we still don't have a usable product over a year later. This delays our ability to share service reports with customers.

A robust maintenance management and request platform

Pros

From creating work orders to monitoring subsequent tasks, Maintenance Connection provides a variety of functions. It allows for flexibility in completing tasks individually or assigning them to the right staff. The email alert feature for finished work orders and PMs is especially beneficial for managing workflows.

Cons

While it could be due to my organization using an older version of the platform, the UI and usability could benefit greatly from simplification and streamlining.

Pros

The reports section in Maintenance Connection makes generating reports less complicated, even for users without SQL knowledge. Being able to duplicate or replicate database components simplifies asset and PM schedule administration.

Cons

Although we're not using the latest version, issues with exporting reports to PDF seem to have been resolved. I wish there was a feature to create alerts for new rules or changes that could affect work order generation.

It's fairly intuitive to operate, and I managed to transfer existing data from another system using the SQL interface without issues.

When reporting, fonts cannot be resized, and some chart labels aren't fully displayed due to this limitation.
