The feature set and applications feel fairly simple to me and I like that the software doesn't get cluttered with unnecessary extras.
Cons
Trying to customize it is extremely difficult. The database feels very disorganized and it's hard to make sense of how the tables are put together. On top of that, converting maintenance requests into work orders is not convenient and there doesn't seem to be a proper database relationship connecting those two reports.

Cons
I do wish the mobile app were a bit more user-friendly and displayed all open work orders no matter how old they are. Since we have to update the due date monthly on some work orders, the due date doesn't really carry much meaning for us anymore.

One thing that works really well for me is the flexibility and how much the system can be tailored to fit both the company's requirements and what end users need.
Cons
Interface feels pretty outdated overall. The work order layout, the way the process flows and even the printable version all feel below standard and unnecessarily difficult to use. On top of that, the report widgets don't offer much room for customization so what you can actually view is quite limited.

Cons
One thing that's been disappointing is that front-end users who submit work orders still can't see all comments or get email notifications when a comment is added or the work order status changes. That functionality was promised to us but it still doesn't work. It's under investigation but the issue is still unresolved.

Using it on tablets has been a real plus for us and I find the system very easy to work with. We haven't tried the mobile app yet but the mobile functionality we do use has been very helpful. Pricing was also one of the reasons we chose it back in 2018 especially compared with other vendors we were evaluating, although I feel the cost for new customers has gone up quite a bit since then.
Cons
Sometimes the inventory and purchasing modules can't sync with SAP which is a limitation for our setup. The reorder list also needs a lot more flexibility. It should be possible to sort it by bin location and then print it or export it into Excel.

Submitting and tracking work orders has been one of the best parts for me when using this software. I also find being able to attach photos or other media to work orders extremely helpful since it makes the whole process much more useful.
Cons
Completed work orders can't be accessed or edited afterward. It would be much better if administrators were given the ability to open and review closed orders.

Pros
Keeping records organized feels easy to me and creating new ones with the copy-paste feature saves a lot of time. I also find the scheduled maintenance records do a good job of keeping work orders moving as planned.
Cons
A few limitations still get in the way. The Audit Trail only goes back 15 days and is available on request but it really should be continuous. Date formatting also can't be customized which is a problem in a GMP facility where specific compliant date formats are required. Searching from the top of columns in list view is slow and if the term isn't found, the system temporarily freezes. There also used to be a search field at the top of Asset Assigned to Task which was very helpful but it was removed in V9. When a work order has a large number of assets assigned, applying labor to each one takes far too much time so having an option to split labor across all assigned assets would help a lot. The View Media dialog is also slow to load when an attachment contains multiple pages. On top of that, using the reset workflow in the search field at the top of list columns takes too many steps since you have to open list view/settings and apply the change manually.

Setting up PMs and recurring work orders works really well in my experience and I find being able to track history and usage very useful.
Cons
One thing that's missing is the ability to search data by time of day or individual shifts. Techs also constantly complain about the keystroke timer that auto-loads and refreshes and AX inputting is frustrating too.

Cons
Because we handled the asset loading internally and built out the preventive maintenance procedures ourselves, it would have helped to have some preloaded PM templates for common equipment most companies use. The inventory workflow for parts and materials also felt a little tough, along with the key management tab.

It covers a lot of ground in my experience and feels very complete. I find it includes almost every option we might need. There are plenty of tools for personnel, assets, preventive maintenance and more, plus convenient ways to export data for deeper analysis in programs like Excel.
Cons
The interface has a few workflows that are not very simple so you have to learn how they work. For example, you might assume that double-clicking a link would open the selected item but instead you need to click once and then use an arrow near the top of the screen to slide the list and reveal the details. It can also be slow at times. A ticket that should take 5 minutes to fix can easily need 3 extra minutes just to enter the information because moving through the screens is sluggish. On top of that, it has bugs. Some issues seem fixed for a while, then show up again in a later update. For example, you may be entering details into a ticket and suddenly the browser refreshes on its own, leaving you in a completely different ticket. Other times, it throws you onto another screen and the ticket you were working on simply vanishes with no way to recover it.

This software completely changed how our company handles inventory, work orders, asset management and preventive maintenance in a very positive way. I find it much simpler now to keep everything organized and stay on top of maintenance tasks. One of the biggest advantages for us is that it is available as a one-time purchase that we actually own instead of another subscription-based product so financially it has been a much better fit over time.
Cons
Setting everything up in the system was definitely a bit tedious but it's one of those tools where the more effort you put in at the beginning, the more value you get from it in the long run.

I'm not a fan of this system overall but I will say that I've found the vendor very supportive.
Cons
Running it is too difficult and it takes far too much time. It almost feels like you need a secretary just to keep up with it. My team is only me and two maintenance guys so this setup seems built for much larger companies. It feels like smaller businesses that still need software like this were overlooked. We used Vision 3.5 before and really liked it but once it was no longer supported, we had to move to 7.0 and we absolutely hate it.

Using the work order system has been a big improvement for me because it moves cleanly through the entire platform. The employees who create work orders prefer it much more than the old email-based process. I find it easy to use and the snapshot-style graphical reports are very helpful. I also appreciate how well it tracks preventative maintenance along with all of our building equipment.
Cons
Since we manage a large number of buildings some of the graphical reports feel cramped when they display repair and maintenance values which can make them harder to read.

Working with their team has easily been one of the strongest parts of my experience with this software. Getting it implemented at our company has not been simple but their IT resources have been incredibly valuable in making sure every issue was handled one by one and that we always landed on a workable solution. At no point did they make our questions or concerns feel like a hassle and throughout the process I found them flexible, honest and transparent with us. Because of that support, the software has continued to stay in place at DISH and we are still finding additional ways to use it that help the business.
Cons
The built-in reporting has never really provided what our business needs. We regularly have to export data from the system into another data manipulation and reporting tool just to get the insights we are looking for. Although customized reports are available, they come with an extra development cost.
