Tego Features
Work Order Management
Users assign tasks through mobile views with attached asset details. Technicians update progress on site with photos and notes. The system routes approvals based on priority levels. This process keeps records tied to specific items for follow-up. Teams close jobs faster with all context at hand.
Barcode Support
Tego features capture identifiers from tags during routine checks. Workers attach them to parts for automatic entry into records. This method speeds inventory counts and reduces entry errors. Supervisors track movements without manual lists. The integration fits varied tools from basic scanners to advanced readers.
Real-Time Data Visibility
The platform pulls field inputs into a central dashboard for live updates. Operators scan assets to log events and sync when connected. This flow reveals trends in wear patterns across sites. Leaders spot issues early and adjust schedules accordingly. Such visibility aids in balancing workloads between teams effectively.
Inventory And Parts Control
Tego links stock levels to asset needs for reorder prompts. Staff scan items to adjust counts during use. The dashboard flags low supplies tied to upcoming jobs. Procurement teams order based on usage forecasts. This control prevents delays from missing components in workflows.
Calibration Data Capture
The platform records tool readings directly onto components during tests. Field staff input values through connected devices for instant storage. This practice maintains accuracy in critical measurements over time. Quality groups review histories to verify standards. Such records support certification renewals without rework.
Asset Lifecycle Tracking
Tego software embeds maintenance histories on equipment for direct access. Teams view repair logs and usage data through tags during inspections. This setup cuts search time and supports quick audits. Managers use the details to plan replacements with accurate timelines. The approach builds a full record from acquisition to disposal.

“reliable access to field data”
Pros
Using it has been a wonderful experience for me. I've found it very helpful for accessing important data and documents wherever the tools are out in the field. The maintenance side through the Asset Intelligence Platform (AIP) has also been very useful. I hope it continues to be developed and improved further.
Cons
The only thing that could use some improvement is the platform's external appearance.
