Plenty of storage

Pros

Sharing folders with different team members is very easy which makes collaboration much more convenient. There's also plenty of storage available on the platform so I don't have to constantly worry about running into space limits.

Cons

At times, it feels a bit slow to use. Adding people can also get frustrating when someone doesn't have full permissions since the process can be a little tricky.

handy syncing, inconsistent uploads

Pros

Having the app and folder sync files in real time between the cloud and my desktop was very useful.

Cons

Using the app was something I generally appreciated but it doesn't seem to work consistently all the time. On top of that, file uploads can become unresponsive for long stretches and that has delayed my work before.

Lots of storage and simple to use

Pros

It gives us a lot of storage space and feels easy to use, whether someone is just getting started or already has plenty of experience.

Cons

One drawback is that sync problems can happen and duplicate or conflicting file versions may show up when several people edit the same file offline and online.

smart sync keeps everything moving

Pros

Dropbox Business has become one of those tools I rely on every day without really thinking about it. It keeps my campaign assets, approvals and client files organized and I don't have to stress about version conflicts. Smart Sync is especially helpful because it saves my laptop from getting overloaded and sharing files is simple enough that I can just send a link and people get what they need without any extra back-and-forth.

Cons

The only thing I'd really want improved is faster previews for large video files. Having to wait a little before I can review creative assets sometimes slows down the feedback process.

Files stay synced across every device

Pros

One thing that really stood out was how well files stayed synchronized across all my devices as I was always able to get the most up-to-date version no matter where I was or when I needed it. The collaboration tools were also a big plus especially shared folders and comments which made working with a team much more convenient.

Cons

Pricing is a little on the expensive side compared to some competing options, particularly for smaller teams. On top of that, the storage available per user can feel restrictive when several people need a larger amount of space.

Excellent value for the price

Pros

Dropbox gives our company excellent value for the price. The platform is very user-friendly and since so many other businesses already know it, people are usually comfortable receiving files through it. One thing that really stood out was being able to grant access to several people at once for team collaboration on projects. It also lets the team keep everything organized in folders which makes searching for files and navigating a project much more convenient.

Cons

There have been times when clients rejected the access link I sent because their email security systems blocked it. That seems to happen because a lot of phishing emails imitate its-style links which can make recipients wary. It helps to give people a heads-up before sending the invitation.

simplifies PDF editing

Pros

It uses 256 bit AES and SSL/TLS encryption which is a big plus for data compliance. The interface feels very user-friendly especially with the drag-and-drop functionality. It's also very convenient that we can edit text and reorganize pages in PDFs directly within this tool.

Cons

The free basic plan only comes with 2GB of storage and after that the pricing jumps pretty quickly. Another downside is that installing the desktop app creates a folder on your hard drive which takes up local space and, in our case, ended up slowing the system down a bit.

Desktop app syncs automatically

Pros

Using the desktop app has been a really positive experience. Dropbox automatically keeps my files synced across multiple devices so I don't have to deal with manual uploads at all. It's simple to navigate, quick to search for files and helps free up space on my PC. The built-in option to e-sign documents is also a very useful feature.

Cons

Nothing major but I'd just like to see a longer window for restoring deleted files, along with more storage included in each plan tier.

keeps data secure

Pros

Their encryption system is the biggest advantage for me. It gives me real confidence that my data stays protected and nothing will be exposed or leaked.

Cons

I did run into a few minor issues when updating files especially when connection problems happened during the process and some changes were not saved properly.

Useful across multiple restaurant branches

Pros

Across our restaurant branches, it has been proven very useful for storing, sharing and locating everything from strategy reports to menus. The interface is also user friendly, training new staff doesn't take long and the pricing offers better value than many competing file-sharing and collaboration tools.

Cons

every now and then we run into a syncing bug or an issue when searching for files and the more complicated problems can take customer support a bit of time to resolve. The advanced search and navigation features are good overall but they could be more flexible when it comes to tracing older documents across larger teams.

Easy, secure, dependable

Pros

It was easy to use and the platform is very user-friendly. Uploading and storing files is simple which makes daily work much more convenient. On top of that, Dropbox Business feels secure and dependable.

Cons

It has been worth the money for us because it makes document management much more smooth. Honestly it has worked flawlessly for our needs.

Quick upload and file sharing

Pros

Uploading and sharing files is one of the standout features here. Getting files up and down felt fairly quick especially compared with some other platforms I've used.

Cons

Folder management and file search were a bit more difficult than I expected. On top of that, there were constant notices about getting close to storage limits, along with repeated upgrade reminders.

great integrations, higher pricing

Pros

Dropbox is widely used, backed by reliable infrastructure and updated often. It runs well across the major platforms and connects with many third-party apps.

Cons

Pricing is one of the weaker points with it especially compared with a lot of competitors if you need more storage or the full set of business features.

excellent value for secure storage

Pros

One of the biggest strengths of this software is the value it offers for the price. With files being larger and more sensitive than ever, it feels like a very worthwhile solution.

Cons

Customer support could definitely be better although it's not something I need very often. It only comes up once in a while.

one place to share everything

Pros

It is very easy to navigate and downloading files with my team is hassle-free. It gives us one place to share everything without draining all my phone data which is a huge benefit. The sharing features are strong and the integrations make it even more useful.

Cons

Honestly I don't have any complaints about it. As a Social Media Manager, it's one of the tools I use the most for work.

Works well across all devices

Pros

Using it has been very convenient because it works so well across multiple devices. I can get to my files from the web, my phone and my desktop without any hassle. The desktop integration is especially useful and is one of the biggest reasons it stands out for me since I rely on it both for sharing files and keeping backups stored safely.

Cons

The pricing is a bit higher than I'd prefer but it still feels like an essential tool for small teams that don't have much time to lose between projects.

helps collaborate across global group

Pros

Most people know Dropbox for keeping files synced across devices and letting you reach your documents from anywhere. I actually started using it during graduate school and the collaboration side of it was amazing. There were 50 of us from 15 different countries and it made it very simple to keep our work in sync despite having such a large and diverse group.

Cons

One thing I'd still like to see is better control over how photos are uploaded to my account.

Cloud documents accessible from anywhere

Pros

This tool lets our company keep all of our documents in the cloud and the team can reach them from virtually anywhere without hassle.

Cons

I noticed that it can quickly fill up the accounts of people still using the free version which makes sharing folders with contacts outside our company a bit difficult.

One central place for all files

Pros

Having one central place for all stored files makes everything easy and convenient. Just dropping files into an online storage space gives all kinds of users a clear, accessible location to find the information they need.

Cons

Real-time syncing during uploads can be a bit unreliable in these folders. It really should do a better job of showing the latest edit or indicating which file is still uploading so everyone knows they're opening the most current version.

Easy to use and great storage

Pros

This tool is easy to use. And I am really happy with how much storage it offers, along with the customer support and the way it lets me collaborate with teammates and clients.

Cons

It does cost more than some other cloud storage options and there have been security breach incidents that made me trust the product a little less.
