Pros

Before we started using it, every meeting document and board update was sent through email which created a lot of extra traffic and unnecessary confusion. Since switching over, it has made a huge difference in keeping communication clear and meetings much better organized. honestly I really love using it.

Cons

Most of our board members adapted to this tool very quickly but a small number have had a harder time with it, usually because their work email systems limit access to certain messages. That has been especially challenging for the lawyers on our board. It really helps to set aside time for training and a bit of extra support so everyone can get comfortable with the platform.

Pros

Having everything gathered in one place has been incredibly helpful. I no longer need to dig around for documents that were moved into storage because everything is available right on the platform. Anyone on our can pull up whatever document they need without reaching out to me to send it over. It's all very accessible and convenient.

Cons

We've been using the platform for a long time and it has kept getting better. I do wish some of those improvements had existed from the start though I completely understand that sometimes things develop and improve as you go.

Really like that board members can quickly get to the information they need, plus the meeting reminders are really helpful and keep everyone on track.

I've genuinely enjoyed using it and honestly haven't come across anything I dislike about the software.

Getting started was simple and the navigation made sense right away. Searching for documents is really convenient and sending announcements to groups with the relevant files attached works very well.

One thing that took a little getting used to was remembering to click Edit before uploading and then Save & Publish afterward to make sure everything was finalized.

Right from the start, the platform felt very user-friendly. It's simple in a positive way, reasonably priced and quick to get up and running without much effort.

A few features still feel missing on EasyBoard especially stronger two-way messaging. It would be helpful if users could reply directly to messages and if messages could include images or richer formatting.

When a message fails to deliver, the failure notice doesn't come back to me directly.

Using it has been genuinely simple and it lets our board and committees stay fully involved with the materials and document sharing.

Organizing documents into folders in the Library was a bit difficult at first. We did come up with a temporary workaround and now we have a solution in place that works really well.

The Meeting feature feels less user-friendly especially when there's a need to cancel a meeting.

Easy Board has become a really valuable central place for our board members and guiding teachers to view both current and archived records and files no matter where they are in the world. After I upload the board meeting details, it handles a lot of the communication and tracking for me which definitely helps keep my inbox from getting so crowded.

My manager and I really appreciate how simple it is to use on our end but getting teachers and board members into the routine of actually using it as a go-to resource has been a bit challenging.

Pros

Didn't take much time at all for me to get started and to manage it day to day has been just as simple. Making updates is simple and even people who aren't very comfortable with technology can use it without much trouble. It feels very user friendly overall.

Cons

I may not be familiar with every customization option yet but a lot of the platform feels fairly standardized. That can be helpful in some respects though it would still be nice to have more flexibility to design things for our constituencies.

Right from the start, this software has done exactly what it claims without overpromising. Out of all the Board Meeting Management tools I've used at different price points and feature levels, this has been the simplest one to work with. The company has also been very simple about what the product can deliver and it has absolutely matched those expectations.

Cons

There isn't really a major downside but if I had to point to one improvement that would add the most value, it would be a dedicated mobile app for board members who use tablets. The web version already includes all the functionality we need so nothing is truly missing but that would probably be the most useful enhancement they could make at this point.

Our Board of Directors had no trouble getting into the platform and finding their way around. The layout is very simple so even people who do not use it every day can still remember where things are and how to navigate. Setting up roles by committee and group has also been really useful. The event feed works a bit like social media, with the newest items showing first. That threw us off at the beginning but we adjusted to it pretty quickly. The integrations for sharing with calendars, Google Docs and Zoom links have all worked reliably and the login process feels user friendly and forgiving.

Cons

A downside we have run into is that, after using it for a few years, the document library has started to feel somewhat cluttered. An archiving feature or subfolder option would make a big difference. At this point, we mainly store older archives in our official cloud accounts instead. This platform works best for managing multiple working groups in real time rather than serving as a long-term document repository.

Setting up meetings for our board and different committees has been really simple especially when it comes to attaching materials and sending reminders. Having everything for every meeting organized in one place is something I really appreciate.

The Outlook add-to-calendar feature feels a little dated and takes a few extra steps to use.

What gets confusing is when a meeting is updated in it. Anyone who already added the original invite to their calendar has to remove it and then add the new one manually. For board members who are used to calendar invites updating automatically, that can be a bit frustrating.

One thing that would make it even better is being able to open Word and Excel files without downloading them first. PDFs already work really well and being able to pull them up quickly during meetings makes staying paperless much easier.
