“Amazing insights”

Pros

Putting together a survey only takes a few minutes and I use it regularly for bug reports and collecting feedback for my dev teams. The drag-and-drop feature is a nice touch and getting response analysis in Google Sheets is really useful. I also appreciate being able to view the raw data and sort it however I need.

Cons

Design customization is very limited at this level. It doesn't really allow full brand-color styling or a completely logo-matched look. Setting up logic jumps can also get a bit confusing when building more advanced flows and the file upload limit becomes a problem if you need to send larger log files.

“Quick setup”

Pros

Getting started with it takes only a few minutes and that's one of the biggest reasons I consider it such a convenient tool. It makes handling questions, suggestions, surveys, voting and similar tasks feel simple.

Cons

Honestly I don't have anything negative to point out. For a non-technical tool, the key things you want are simplicity and reliability and it delivers fully on both.

“useful forms with sheets”

Pros

As a Cloud Architect, I use it to gather system requirements from users and it's been very user-friendly the whole way through. The Google Sheets integration works exactly as it should and the best part is that there's no coding knowledge needed to get started. Being open-source is another big plus and it runs nicely across every browser I've used.

Cons

What feels lacking is the design flexibility. There isn't much room for branding or custom CSS so customization is pretty limited. It also starts to feel a bit basic when dealing with very complex logic or larger data workflows. I've often wanted more advanced validation rules for technical entries but that functionality just isn't available here.

“collaboration made easy”

Pros

It has been a really efficient way to gather information through different response formats like written answers, multiple choice and drop-down selections. It cuts down a lot of the time spent on admin work and frees up energy for other tasks that matter more. The standout feature for me is the ability for several teammates to collaborate on the same form or document at once which is especially valuable when working with a virtual team.

Cons

Reporting side can feel a bit too basic depending on what some users need. Like most web-based tools, it also depends heavily on having a reliable internet connection. If the connection is weak or unavailable, those features simply won't function properly.

“handy with google accounts”

Pros

Something I really appreciate is that it comes included with a Google account so there's no extra cost involved. That alone gives it a lot of value since I'm not paying anything additional to use it. It's also sakmaod simple to work with and I like that it gathers the responses for me and lets me export the data into an Excel file when I need it.

Cons

There are still a few limitations that get in the way of doing everything I want. I've managed to find workarounds for most of them but not for every situation. Some parts still feel a bit outdated especially when I need the form to collect files.

“anonymous feedback made simple”

Pros

Using it has been very simple and I really value how simple it is to navigate. The data collection works well and the option for respondents to stay anonymous when filling out evaluations is especially useful.

Cons

What would make it even better is a weekly or biweekly notification when someone completes a form so I can stay current on the feedback being shared.

“Useful response exports”

Pros

Keeping everything inside Google Workspace is a big plus and the setup is very simple. It handles the core survey and form needs really well and exporting response summaries to CSV is especially practical and useful.

Cons

Access can sometimes be an issue for people who do not have Google credentials. The feature set is fairly basic and while there are some customization options, they can feel a little fiddly when you want branded forms or a more polished, professional appearance.

“fantastic for polls and audits”

Pros

Using this tool for online polls and audits has been a really positive experience. It's simple to work with, collecting data is very efficient and the whole process feels well organized. Data management is especially impressive and makes handling everything much more convenient.

Cons

At this point, I haven't come across anything that feels like a red flag. The team has done an excellent job building a tool that makes daily work much more manageable.

“user-friendly surveys”

Pros

Putting together event surveys for our office has been much more manageable with it. It gives us a fast, efficient way to collect feedback from both volunteers and participants. The interface is very user-friendly so building questions takes very little time and the responses appear right next to the survey in a clean organized layout that makes reviewing and analyzing everything simple. Being able to connect the results to Google Sheets is also a big advantage. Our office also appreciates that we can personalize surveys with different colors and themes.

Cons

Right now, I really have not come across anything I dislike. The simplicity of the platform helps our office stay organized when creating surveys and it also makes it easy for staff to share forms with one another for collaboration and consistency.

“not that great for online tests...”

Pros

Getting started with it is very simple and convenient. Even someone with no technical background can build forms and surveys without much effort. It works really well for surveys and research since collecting data is quick and simple and it ends up saving a lot of time.

Cons

One thing that really bothers me is the lack of solid anti-cheating features during online tests. Participants can switch tabs or copy and paste answers without being detected which makes it less dependable for serious or competitive exams.

“sheets sync is effortless”

Pros

Its so quick and easy to putting together forms and gathering responses, no matter what you need them for. The Google Sheets integration works very well and all the collected data ends up neatly organized without costing anything.

Cons

The customization options for design are pretty limited and I'd love to see more added. For more advanced use cases, it still feels a bit too basic.

“User friendly software”

Pros

Being free to use is a big plus and it's fairly customizable as well. Sharing forms is quick, the features make sense right away and with just a bit of practice it's easy to learn how to use all the tools confidently.

Cons

Would be better if there were more options for cleaner, more professional templates that could be customized for a company. When these forms are used for formal or official purposes, they can sometimes come across as too basic or a little amateur.

“works well for everyone”

Pros

Putting together forms to collect project requirements from different teams is really quick which saves a lot of time. The biggest advantage for me is the direct integration with Google Sheets.

Cons

The part that falls short is the limited design flexibility. There isn't much room to customize the UI so it matches our company's internal branding.

“quick and easy”

Pros

Creating forms is very simple for the person requesting the data and it's just as simple for the person filling it out to access and complete them.

Cons

One limitation is that there isn't always room to add more detail. Sometimes you're restricted to yes-or-no answers and depending on how a question is phrased, that doesn't always fit what you want to say.

“fun templates and features”

Pros

Using Forms feels very simple and it comes with plenty of features that are simple to understand. There are lots of dropdown choices that help people get the exact kind of responses they need, plus several ways to collect survey data and receive notifications when submissions come in. The color choices and ready-made templates are simple but they also make the whole experience more enjoyable.

Cons

A feature that would really improve it is conditional questioning. For example, if someone selects no, it could automatically lead them to a different follow-up question. That would cut down on how often people need to rely on the "other" field and type out their own responses.

“great results..”

Pros

One thing I really appreciate is how flexible it is and how easily it lets you collaborate with pretty much anyone, not just coworkers inside your organization. The way it connects and syncs with other applications is also excellent for managing data efficiently. Also, creating surveys and collecting participant ratings is very simple and convenient.

Cons

Honestly I'd gladly recommend it to anyone. I haven't run into any negative issues with it at all.

“free and efficient data collection”

Pros

Bringing data into one place is really simple with this and it makes collecting and analyzing information much simpler. The biggest plus is that it's completely free so the value you get from it is excellent.

Cons

I'd still like to see more customization options in it because the design choices can feel somewhat limited at times. Also, when you're gathering a large amount of data, the responses in Sheets can start to look a bit cluttered.

“Got forms for every need!”

Pros

Google Forms has become something we rely on across just about every part of our business. We use it for surveys, sign-ups and general data collection whenever needed. It's an incredibly valuable tool for any business or organization.

Cons

What gets confusing is managing forms when you have multiple Gmail accounts. It can be tricky to figure out which form is connected to which email address especially when a form is shared by someone else.
