“simple surveys and fast results”

Pros

One thing I appreciate most is how simple it is to use and how quickly I can put a form together. Creating surveys feels simple and the automatic collection and organization of responses saves me a lot of time.

Cons

A downside for me is the limited customization and lack of more advanced design options. It does the job well for basic surveys but once the form needs to be more detailed or complex, it can start to feel restrictive.

“accessible forms for everyone”

Pros

Best thing about this form tool is how accessible it is. Anyone with a Google account can jump in and build really solid forms without any hassle.

Cons

The part I keep wishing for is more customization. Keeping things simple is nice but there have definitely been times when I needed to build a form with conditional logic in a specific way and these Forms just couldn't do it.

“Reliable feedback collection”

Pros

It has been a dependable and simple way to gather employee feedback, requests and other internal information. It's especially helpful that teams can build and share forms on their own without having to rely on IT support every time.

Cons

I came across nothing wrong with this software.

“quick surveys and efficient responses”

Pros

Creating questionnaires with it has become part of my regular routine for collecting responses. The whole setup is very simple so building a form is fast and user friendly. It also handles response collection and analysis efficiently and sharing the form with others is really convenient.

Cons

Customization options are fairly limited so the tool still feels quite basic overall. Even so, it remains a solid option that's simple to use.

“real-time sheets sync is a plus”

Pros

Responses sync to Google Sheets automatically in real time which makes sorting, filtering and analyzing the data pretty effortless.

Cons

It handles basic section-based routing but it's missing more advanced conditional rules, calculated fields and branching logic that works across multiple variables.

“Amazing!”

Pros

Since it's free and already fits into our Google Workspace setup, there's no added cost to explain or approve. I can put together a form in about 10 minutes whenever I need customer feedback or a quick market survey. Responses go directly into Sheets which makes the analysis part pretty simple. For basic questionnaires and lead capture forms, it handles what we need without making the process more complicated than it has to be.

Cons

Branding is where it falls short because the design choices are very limited so everything ends up looking unmistakably like a Google product instead of something more professional and on-brand. Branching logic also becomes confusing pretty quickly once you move past simple skip rules. And outside of Google's ecosystem, integration options are pretty thin so getting it connected to our CRM means relying on workarounds or Zapier.

“easy webinar response tracking”

Pros

It was really helpful for managing webinar and seminar registrations, then gathering feedback from attendees afterward. Setting up the forms and sending them out was simple and having every response stored in one place made it much simpler to stay on top of the information.

“Saves my time”

Pros

Creating simple forms takes very little time with it. There are no unnecessary steps and I don't have to deal with complicated setups. The whole process feels simple, from building the form to reviewing and analyzing the responses.

Cons

If I had to point out one downside, it would be the limited feature set. I spent a few months using another form builder and came across options there that I've never seen in it. Even with that, I'd still say it's a good place to start.

“Simple to share”

Pros

Really simple to work with and the fact that it's free makes it even better. Sharing forms on different platforms is simple with just a link and collecting responses stays convenient and well organized. The integration with Google Sheets also fits in smoothly and makes managing the data much more efficient.

Cons

A feature that still feels missing is a "Match the Following" question type when building forms. Having that option would make it far more useful for quizzes, assessments and other educational needs.

“dependable results”

Pros

Putting together forms with it feels almost effortless. It's really simple to build a form, gather responses and keep everything neatly organized without dealing with extra complications. The layout is clean, the interface is very user-friendly and the connection with Google Sheets adds a lot of value. Whether it's a short survey, a signup sheet, a quiz or a feedback form, it handles the task quickly and dependably. It's honestly one of the most useful free tools available.

Cons

One thing that could be better with it is the limited customization. If you're aiming for a form that looks more distinctive or polished, the design options can come across as pretty basic. It does an excellent job for simple forms but it doesn't provide the same level of flexibility that some other form builders do.

“beginner-friendly forms”

Pros

Something that really works well is how beginner-friendly it is and how simple it is to get started. It's also convenient that people can complete a form without needing a Google account. Also, the data collection and visualization features after responses come in are really useful and make it much easier to review the results.

Cons

Con is that there isn't a default field for collecting a name or other identifying information. If you're not requiring people to sign in with email, you have to remember to add that field manually yourself.

“Functionality can improve a bit”

Pros

It's nice that people who aren't very tech-savvy can still use it without much trouble. Everything goes straight into a spreadsheet which helps keep the information organized.

Cons

The overall functionality feels pretty minimal and could be more advanced with additional features and options. It's also somewhat difficult to go back and view submissions that were already sent in.

“smart controls...”

Pros

It has improved a lot over the years. Creating forms, copying them and organizing different question types into sections is very simple. The newer AI assisted form creation is a big step forward too. I've also found the option to automatically close a form on a specific date or after a set number of responses especially useful.

Cons

That said, the interface still feels like it could use a more modern refresh. A lot of the form-building functions seem outdated, like they're carried over from much older versions. Also some of the sharing options feel more complicated and outdated than they should be.

“I recommend it!”

Pros

To get an idea to a working form is the biggest reason I use it. I can put together a survey, signup or feedback form in just a few minutes without any training or setup, then send out a link that works well on any device. Responses go directly into Google Sheets so filtering, analysis and charts are already there without needing to export anything. The conditional logic is useful for sending people to different questions based on their answers which covers most real-world form needs. Response validation, required fields, file uploads and the built-in summary charts all work reliably. It's free, supports collaboration much like Docs and connects with the rest of Workspace without any extra configuration.

Cons

Customization is pretty limited. You can tweak the color and add a header image but beyond that every form still has the standard Google Forms look. That's usually fine for internal use but it feels less suitable when the form is customer-facing. The logic also stays fairly basic compared to more specialized form builders since there are no calculated fields, no advanced branching, no built-in payment collection and no option for someone to save a partial response and come back later.

Creating surveys and sign-up forms with this is really simple. I can put things together without needing much technical knowledge which makes it very convenient to use.

“Forms that save the day”

Pros

Running my business has been really convenient because it's simple to set up and still offers plenty of useful features. It helps me keep everything organized and I get notified right away whenever someone submits a form. I also appreciate how customizable it is since I can adjust the design to better fit my own style and branding.

Cons

Some people may feel it doesn't look quite as polished or professional as having forms directly on your own website but for the value it provides, I think it does the job really well.

“easy to handle”

Pros

It is fast and simple to create forms in Google... which is probably the part I appreciate most. The layout feels user friendly, it offers enough question types for most survey needs and the responses can be sent directly into Google Sheets for better organization. It's also really convenient to share a form with a large audience.

Cons

A bit limited especially when you need more advanced layouts or a highly designed survey design. The built-in reporting and analysis tools in Forms are fairly basic too so for larger response sets I usually end up working in Sheets instead.

“Surveys that work”

Pros

Has been a really practical option because everything about it feels clear and direct. As someone filling out forms, answering the questions is quick and uncomplicated. The survey layout is also well organized and useful and creating forms on my side is just as simple.

Cons

One limitation is that the feature set is pretty basic so it is not the best fit for more advanced surveys. Having stronger options in that area would make certain questions easier to handle when collecting data and information.

Pros

Right away, it felt simple and user friendly to use. Creating, sharing and filling out forms is fast and simple, even for someone without much technical experience.

Cons

The downside is that the customization options feel a bit limited compared to other form-building tools. It would be better to have more design flexibility and a wider range of advanced features.

“Results are good”

Pros

Setting it up and customizing it is very simple and sharing it with other people for collaboration is just as simple. A big plus is that everything is saved within the Google suite which makes it easy to find later and helps avoid losing track of where it's stored.

Cons

Because of GDPR requirements, we're unable to use it for many work-related tasks since the data is stored outside the EU which conflicts with our company policy.
