“Fantastic!”

Pros

Creating forms for my team has been really helpful for handling different requests and tasks that need to be seen by multiple groups.

Cons

My biggest issue is that it doesn't integrate with Microsoft Office and its products.

“I would totally recommend this”

Pros

It has been a really efficient and user-friendly option for collecting data. Being able to create unlimited forms and gather unlimited responses without running into hidden paywalls is a huge plus. It lets me put together professional-looking, fully functional forms without needing any technical skills at all. One feature I especially appreciate is how it automatically turns responses into pie charts and graphs which makes tracking and analyzing data in real time feel effortless.

Cons

That said, while the simplicity is definitely one of its strengths, the design customization is a bit limited when compared with more advanced survey platforms.

“we love it”

Pros

Using it has made collecting information really convenient for both personal and business use. It gives me plenty of space to gather everything I need and both building a form and going back to review responses are very simple.

Cons

One thing that can be frustrating is how easy it is to accidentally delete the form instead of just the responses. I also wish it had its own more dedicated space like Docs or Sheets because having to access it through Google Drive feels less organized.

“Easy and smooth sheets sync”

Pros

One of the best things is that it costs nothing to use and takes almost no time to get running. Creating, personalizing and sending out surveys or forms only takes a few minutes and every response is automatically pushed into Google Sheets which makes reviewing and analyzing the data very convenient.

Cons

Customization for design and branding is fairly limited especially when you compare it with paid tools like Typeform or Jotform. It also starts to feel restrictive when you need more advanced features such as detailed conditional logic, multi-step workflows or built-in payment integrations directly inside the form.

“free forms that just work”

Pros

It gives a lot of value especially because it's completely free. Putting together surveys and forms feels very simple so even someone with no experience can create a custom form in just a minute.

Cons

Works well for regular feedback and basic data collection but it doesn't come with built-in tools made for more complicated employee scheduling needs.

“simple forms with reliable automation”

Pros

Putting together surveys, quizzes and forms with this is quick and simple and it only takes a few clicks to get started. It handles data collection smoothly, with feedback and responses automatically organized without errors. As a teacher, it's especially useful when I need to gather consent or feedback from parents and students and the integration with Google Sheets cuts down a lot of manual work. Another big advantage is that it's usually free and offers features that feel very worthwhile for the value.

Cons

Frustrating part is the customer support which tends to be slow when help is needed. It also falls short when it comes to advanced scheduling options and managing more complex organizational tasks.

“Made things easy”

Pros

One thing I really appreciate is that it's free. The platform is very user-friendly, simple to work with and makes collecting data really convenient. I can quickly copy and paste the information wherever I need it. Sharing forms is also very convenient especially with people who use Gmail and collaborating with teammates is just as simple.

Cons

I do wish it had more design and customization options so forms could feel more personalized. It's also not as advanced as some other form-building tools. Another limitation is that you need an internet connection to access the form. I also haven't had much experience with the customer support.

“beginner-friendly”

Pros

Getting started with it couldn't be more simple. It's very beginner-friendly and the simple drag-and-drop setup makes creating forms feel effortless for just about anyone. Also, it's completely free which makes it even better.

Cons

Something that can be a little frustrating is the limited selection of colors and fonts. Aside from that, I really don't have any complaints.

“Fast surveys”

Pros

At J&J Social, it is part of our regular workflow for building client audience surveys, gathering video production briefs and handling sign-ups for media events. Putting together a questionnaire only takes a few minutes which is a huge plus and the auto-generated charts make it simple to review and understand responses right away.

Cons

The design customization still feels too limited. Since our agency puts a lot of emphasis on brand identity, not being able to significantly adjust the form's appearance or use custom fonts makes it less suitable for more premium, brand-focused campaigns.

“Useful analytics”

Pros

Google Forms has been a really useful way to collect information for different needs, occasions and projects. I've used it for event RSVPs as well as employee surveys and in both cases it gave me the results I was looking for. It helped me gather feedback from the right audience and I also liked that the responses could be sent directly into a Google Sheet. Another plus is the built-in analytics, including visuals like bar graphs and pie charts. Setting up a form was simple and there were plenty of question formats to choose from, such as short answer, long answer and multiple choice. Having those options made the whole process quick and simple instead of complicated. Google Forms also gives you some customization features like colors and header themes and you can go back and edit the form anytime. That has been especially helpful when I catch typos after creating it. Once the form is ready, sharing it by link is convenient and it's nice to be able to manage the permissions and privacy settings as well.

Cons

One thing I'd still like to see is more customization so forms can look more polished and professional. I also think it would be better if its supported more advanced survey-building options. It would be especially interesting if it could integrate with a reservation system.

“very easy to learn and use”

Pros

Right away, it feels familiar and user friendly which makes it simple to start building forms without much of a learning curve. One of the biggest advantages is how easily I can share forms with others and collaborate on edits in real time.

Cons

The forms do look pretty plain and I wish there were more options to customize their appearance. The analysis and data summaries can also feel a bit limited at times.

“team collaboration made easy”

Pros

Whether it's customer feedback, event sign-ups or internal surveys, this tool handles everything reliably without creating extra work. Building a form is fast, collecting responses is simple and sharing it is as simple as sending a link. Real-time collaboration with the team is also a big plus and makes the whole process more convenient.

Cons

A downside is the limited customization. The forms do what they are supposed to do but they look fairly basic and there are not many options to align them with your brand style.

“clean surveys with sheets integration”

Pros

Putting together surveys, feedback forms and research questionnaires in these Forms feels simple thanks to its clean, user friendly interface. Working as a Senior Product Designer, I really value how simple and accessible it is and the integration with Google Sheets makes reviewing and analyzing user responses smooth.

Cons

Customization on the design side is fairly limited and it misses more advanced UX capabilities such as deeper personalization, complex interactions and more flexible layout options for forms.

“Integrations are great”

Pros

Right away, it felt simple and user friendly to work with. Creating forms, sharing them and filling them out was simple and the automatic response collection made tracking submissions much more efficient. The real-time connection with Google Sheets was especially useful and the options to customize questions and adjust settings added a lot of value.

Cons

Still feels a bit limited when it comes to deeper customization, branding and workflow automation. It also doesn't offer the stronger reporting, conditional logic or approval capabilities you get with more specialized form tools. Also, managing permissions and building more complex forms can become somewhat tiring.

“Quick feedback collection”

Pros

Whenever I need to gather feedback, bug reports or input from the team, it gets the job done quickly and reliably. As a Software Engineer, it saves me from having to build a custom tool for simple data collection. The connection with Google Sheets is also very convenient and makes organizing and managing responses much easier.

Cons

A con is that customization and advanced workflow features are fairly limited compared with more developer-oriented tools. It would be much better with more flexible API options and stronger control over the design.

“customizable forms are great”

Pros

Sending these out to a large audience works really well and they can be designed very easily to fit an organization's specific needs. The interface is user-friendly and since people don't need any software beyond G Suite to complete them, it feels much more accessible in different places.

Cons

One downside is that once a form is submitted, you often can't go back and edit their responses which can be frustrating if they need to correct or update something later. I'm also not fully confident about how legally binding the form is.

“allows instant collaboration”

Pros

Creating surveys, quizzes and questionnaires with it is quick and simple and the fact that it's free makes it even better. Responses are automatically sorted into Google Sheets which helps a lot when it comes to reviewing and analyzing data. It also supports real-time collaboration and I can access it from any device as long as I have an internet connection.

Cons

Design and customization features feel a bit limited when compared with other survey tools. If you need more advanced options like complex survey logic or detailed reporting, you'll usually have to rely on third-party integrations or move to a paid platform.

“user friendly forms!”

Pros

Building forms right inside a Google account and having them connected to email just feels incredibly natural. There are very few other tools I'd choose over it especially when it comes to collecting simple information about what our employees need.

Cons

What I'd change is the appearance. It still feels dated, like it belongs to a much older version of Google's product suite and could use a more modern design.

“incredible forms for small teams”

Pros

Whenever we need to put together a survey or form without getting into anything too technical, this is the tool we turn to. We're a small business and it works well for collecting feedback, handling scheduling and even supporting our induction process. Sharing forms with the team is simple and the responses come back organized in a clean, neat way. Also, being free makes a big difference for us since we're working with a limited budget.

Cons

Design options are fairly basic and can feel limited. For example, there isn't much room to align forms with our branding or give them a more polished look which would matter when sharing them externally. Also, when the number of forms starts to grow, managing and organizing them by project can become a bit tiring especially if there's no real way to group or categorize them.
