i rely on it

Pros

Using Grammarly feels incredibly natural and that is probably its biggest strength. Once you install the Grammarly extension, you can start using it right away. Since it is available both as a mobile app and a desktop program, I can use it anytime and almost anywhere. Another big advantage is that Grammarly gives real-time suggestions to correct grammar, spelling and punctuation mistakes while writing messages. One of the features I keep appreciating most is the style guidance it provides. It has genuinely improved the clarity, effectiveness and persuasiveness of my writing.

Cons

I really do not have any major complaints about Grammarly except for the price. A premium Grammarly subscription can be a bit expensive for a student. Even so, when I compare it with other similar tools, Grammarly still feels like the best option in terms of both quality and value.

amazing software

Pros

Right from the start, this software feels simple to use and lighter than many other options out there.

Cons

An issue is that it really depends on having a proper internet connection. If the connection drops, it takes quite a while to load again and refresh.

easy to set up

Pros

Being able to fix typos helps me produce cleaner, more professional-looking content. The product is also very user-friendly and the platform works quickly which makes the whole process feel more efficient and fluent.

Cons

Considering the price, that part doesn't really appeal to me. Aside from that, there isn't anything else I dislike.

saves my time

Pros

Having a free version available across pretty much everything I type on is a big plus. It's helpful that it flags mistakes right away so I can fix them as I go.

Cons

Grammarly works well as a program but the paid version is priced higher than what fits my budget. That said the free version still does the job nicely if you don't need anything too advanced.

10/10 tool

Pros

It has become a really dependable tool for polishing my writing and helping with paper preparation. Lately, I often paste my English text into Google Translate to check whether the meaning matches what I want to say, then use Grammarly to fix the grammar and gradually shape it into a final version. Since students are not always familiar with writing in English, the correction support from Grammarly feels especially helpful. After I started using it, I've also had far fewer situations where I needed to rewrite an entire document for things like scholarship applications.

Cons

One inconvenience is that payment is handled by credit card so it can be difficult or impossible to pay for it through a university budget. I would really like to see more flexible licensing options. That said for companies or teams that do not run into this kind of payment issue and use English regularly in their daily work, it seems like something they should actively consider adopting.

so good

Pros

The spell-check, punctuation and grammar tools are outstanding and they work smoothly in the background without interrupting my flow at all.

Cons

The only thing I'd really like to see is a mobile app that works just as well as the desktop software.

i recommend it!

Pros

Having this software around has been a big help when I need to check my grammar. It's especially useful for students, authors, businesses and researchers who want to improve their writing. The interface is simple to use and the results it gives are highly accurate.

Cons

One thing worth noting is that the free version comes with limited features and the paid plan feels a bit expensive. Still, considering how useful and helpful the software is, the pricing seems reasonable to me.

guides my writeup

Pros

Something that really helped was how Grammarly caught most of my grammar mistakes. It was also useful because the corrections helped me understand what I was doing wrong and how to avoid making the same errors again later.

Cons

A downside was that Grammarly didn't always understand the context of what I was writing so some of the suggestions it gave were off and not actually correct.

error-free publishing

Pros

Publishing content feels a lot less stressful now because I don't have to worry about discovering grammar mistakes after something has already gone live. That's one less thing on my plate and it's a huge relief.

Cons

I don't have any complaints at all. I love everything about it from beginning to end.

feature-rich but limited accessibility

Pros

One thing that stands out to me is how many features this software includes. Nearly everything a writer needs is already built in which makes it very useful overall.

Cons

A downside with Grammarly is that it still does not fully support accessibility for screen reading software. Keeping up with highlighted alerts can be difficult. For example, when there is a complicated section of text, I use a screen reader and still cannot tell where that sentence is located.

AI support is incredible

Pros

Quick to get the hang of and simple to use. It's an effective AI writing assistant that helps with both American and British English and even the free version is genuinely useful.

Cons

The part that annoys me most is that it starts correcting a sentence before I've even finished it with a full stop. It also only works in English and needs an internet connection to function.

love the google docs integration

Pros

After using Grammarly Business for quite a while, it's become something I genuinely enjoy using. The integration with Google Docs works really well and the suggestions are clear thoughtfully designed and easy to understand. Another thing I appreciate is being able to rework a phrase and get several alternative options which helps a lot when choosing better wording. Overall, it definitely gets a big thumbs up from me.

Cons

Customer support could use a bit more improvement. I get that they probably handle a huge volume of requests but there's still some room to do better there.

chrome extension helps

Pros

Using the Grammarly extension in Chrome has been really helpful for me. It catches grammar issues while I type and helps me write proper English sentences more accurately.

Cons

I honestly haven't come across any downsides with Grammarly. I even used it while writing this review.

Its actually great

Pros

Just installing the Chrome extension is enough and it pretty much handles everything from there. Whether I'm writing a paper, filling out a job application on Indeed or completing the online documentation we use at work, it automatically checks spelling and grammar while I type. I also appreciate that I can choose whether or not to accept each correction. Also, it gives feedback on the overall quality of my writing.

Cons

My only real complaint is that you have to pay for the business version. Of course, nothing is truly free and no one enjoys extra costs. Even with that, it's still a very useful tool for proofreading any kind of online writing or documentation.

Awesome

Pros

Whenever I'm editing or writing content, Grammarly has been a really useful tool to have. It helps me catch mistakes in my writing and makes sure the words I use are correct. It's also helpful in my work since it assists me in spotting errors in the tasks and documents I'm handling.

Cons

One limitation is that Grammarly, like most writing assistant tools, works only with English text. Also, while it does a good job of pointing out spelling and grammar issues and suggesting fixes, it isn't accurate 100% of the time. Because of that, I still need to manually review things now and then to confirm its suggestions.

So good

Pros

Grammarly is incredibly simple to use and stays quietly in the background until I need it, then steps in to catch mistakes I might have missed. It also pushes me to write more thoughtfully by reminding me to avoid passive voice and focus on clarity. Evidence, I'm even using it to review this write-up.

Cons

Every now and then, it doesn't turn on automatically. I'm not sure whether that's due to an integration problem or something else but it's frustrating when I expect it to be running in the apps I use the most. I'd also love to see it supported in Adobe Acrobat Pro.

smart tool!

Pros

Across pretty much every place I write, Grammarly keeps an eye on my text and checks it as I go. The browser extension is fantastic and it also works really well with other apps I use, like Messages on my iPhone and Word on my Mac. It goes beyond basic spelling and grammar corrections by catching punctuation problems too. Also, it recommends better phrasing when sentences are too long, run together or feel overly wordy which helps clean up stylistic issues. The online editor is also really useful for drafting documents or any kind of text. I can type directly in it, paste content in or just drag and drop a document into the editor. Everything stays organized there and I can download my files as Word documents whenever I need to. I also appreciate the vocabulary improvement suggestions especially since I can tailor goals based on the kind of writing I'm doing, like the domain, audience and level of formality. Another feature I consider essential is the plagiarism checker especially when I want to be confident that what I've written is completely original. One of the best parts though, is that Grammarly doesn't just flag mistakes and throw out corrections,it often explains why something is wrong and that has genuinely helped me improve my writing over time.

Cons

The pricing feels a little high especially if you're not signing up for the annual plan. Every now and then it also gives some odd suggestions but that's a pretty common limitation with AI tools.

easy setup

Pros

This software has made it much quicker and less stressful to complete my writing tasks. With Grammarly, I no longer need to go back and edit my work over and over again which saves me a lot of time. It has also helped improve my grammar quite a bit along the way.

Cons

At this point, I'm satisfied with Grammarly overall and haven't run into any issues yet.

punctuation and proofreading boost

Pros

What made the biggest difference to me was the punctuation support and the proofreading. It definitely makes writing much easier.

Cons

I don't have anything negative to say about Grammarly. It's a really valuable tool to have especially for students or really anyone in general.

makes work simple

Pros

Around four years back, I began with Grammarly's free version and about six months ago I moved over to Grammarly Business. It has made a noticeable difference in the quality of my business writing. Grammarly Business helps make writing clearer, more engaging, accurate and appropriate in tone. The plagiarism checker does what I need it to do and the MS Word and Outlook add-ins, along with the browser extension, work really well.

Cons

There are definitely more advantages than drawbacks with Grammarly Business. My only real wish is that it offered sentence rephrasing features similar to QuillBot and Wordtune.
