dependable tool!

Pros

Writing reports, essays and articles feels much more manageable with this tool. It's user-friendly and helps a lot by pointing out misspellings, double spaces, unclear phrasing and punctuation issues while you work.

Cons

One thing that gets confusing is how it handles American and British English spellings. It often suggests changing words based on the other version of English so American spellings get flagged for British ones and the other way around.

Pros

Grammarly has become part of my daily routine. It helps me catch grammar mistakes, check for plagiarism and even generate citations for my papers which has been really useful.

Cons

The only downside is that it feels a little expensive compared to other tools that offer similar features.

so good

Pros

Working as a data analyst in a private technology company for the past five years, I send a lot of emails every day, usually around 5 to 8 or even more. Because I type quickly, I sometimes make small grammar mistakes and it feels embarrassing when someone notices those errors in my writing. That pushed me to start looking for a solution. I first searched on Google and came across a few browser plugins but I wasn't really happy with their interface or features. Later, while watching YouTube, I came across an ad for Grammarly. The ad caught my attention so I looked it up right away and spent some time researching it. After that, I felt confident enough to give it a try. Once I started using Grammarly, it honestly felt like the problem was taken care of. It has helped me a lot with punctuation and I've noticed it performs much better than the grammar checker in Microsoft Word. I've been using Grammarly for three months now and since then I've sent many emails without a single mistake and with much better sentence structure. I've even received appreciation for how clearly and professionally I write my report emails now. A lot of that credit goes to Grammarly and I find it extremely useful for writing professional emails.

Cons

One thing that still bothers me is that Grammarly sometimes suggests too many commas where they don't really belong. I've also had issues using it in Chrome because at times it stops working properly and even makes my browser hang. If those problems were fixed, it would feel like a perfect tool.

My review...

Pros

Grammarly has been an excellent tool for improving and polishing my writing. It catches mistakes in my text and helps me adjust my tone so it fits the audience I'm writing for. It's especially useful when I'm working on emails for my job or for university. There's also an academic writing option which makes it a perfect fit for students and people doing research at universities or research centers. Another thing I really appreciate is being able to install the Grammarly extension on my computer and use it directly on the desktop.

Cons

A downside with Grammarly is that it only supports English. That means speakers of languages like French or Arabic can't fully benefit from features such as the plagiarism checker. I've also noticed that after installing the extension in Word or Google Chrome, the small icon in the corner can sometimes get in the way and make writing a bit distracting.

my writing buddy

Pros

Using it has really helped me improve my writing by catching grammar issues, spelling mistakes and sentence errors. The browser extension is especially useful because it supports me while I write and quickly points out any problems so I can fix them right away.

Cons

The only downside is the price which feels quite high. At times, it can be hard to afford the software so I'd personally recommend lowering the cost.

makes work easier

Pros

One feature I appreciate most in Grammarly Business is the emoji it suggests to reflect the tone of what I've written. It makes me pause and consider whether I want my message to come across that way. If the mood doesn't feel right, I can quickly tweak my wording so it better matches what I want to communicate. That's such a valuable feature.

Cons

I don't really have any complaints about Grammarly Business. It's especially helpful when I'm firing off emails quickly since that's usually when typos happen or my wording isn't as polished as it should be.

gives accurate results

Pros

Features that have been most useful are the spell check, punctuation and grammar checking and plagiarism detection. They cover the key things I need when reviewing my writing and help me catch issues before submitting anything.

Cons

Con is the price which feels expensive. I also have concerns around text similarity and the content scan since those areas could be better handled.

improves work efficiency

Pros

While I'm typing, Grammarly's autocorrect catches and fixes typos in real time. The platform feels simple to use and works efficiently.

Cons

I haven't run into any real issues with this platform. That said it would still be nice to see more features included and a lower price.

Pros

Every typo I make gets caught and corrected which saves me from having to go back through my writing line by line looking for mistakes.

Cons

There really isn't anything I dislike about the platform. I've been happy with everything it offers though a lower price would be nice.

powerful writing insights

Pros

Any content writer can benefit from Grammarly and it is just as useful for anyone trying to build stronger writing skills. It takes a thorough approach to keeping writing error-free by checking grammar, spelling and punctuation in one place. Another helpful feature is the ability to set goals that match the type of writing you want to create, such as choosing an objective for a professional message. Also, Grammarly provides a detailed quality report with relevant insights like word count, sentence length and other key metrics. Overall, it feels like one of the best tools available for writing.

Cons

One area where Grammarly falls short is its plagiarism checker which does not always detect copied content accurately. It also only supports the English language which can be limiting for researchers and writers who need a broader plagiarism-checking solution. While it is not perfect, the plagiarism feature can still be somewhat useful for helping confirm that a piece of work is original.

Pros

Grammarly Business helps me stay focused on my work because it catches, highlights and fixes all of my typos for me.

Cons

The one thing I'd really like to see is support for typing in different languages. An auto-translate feature would also be a nice addition.

Accurate writing checks

Pros

Among the tools I've used, Grammarly is the only software that can scan a piece of content for all kinds of errors in a very short time. It points out everything from grammar mistakes and repeated words to punctuation issues, suggests the right words to use instead and even shows the overall percentage of errors.

Cons

Haven't come across any problems with Grammarly.

Excellent tool!

Pros

Editing and writing content feels much more reliable with Grammarly. It helps me catch mistakes in my writing and makes sure my word choices are accurate. It's also useful at work because it helps me spot errors in the tasks and documents I'm handling.

Cons

The plagiarism checker in Grammarly does not always detect plagiarism correctly. It also only supports English which can be limiting for researchers and writers who need to check copied work in other languages. It can still help confirm whether content is original but it is not completely reliable.

time savings

Pros

Grammarly has become something I rely on because it helps me write faster, save time and also improve my writing as I go. Most of the time, it catches issues with a high level of accuracy and doesn't make too many mistakes. There are moments when it misunderstands what I'm trying to say or suggests a comma where I don't really need or want one but overall it performs very well. Grammarly Premium is the paid version of this AI-based writing assistant and it reviews your text, points out what it believes is wrong and offers suggestions to help correct and polish your writing.

Cons

One frustrating part is that it can make annoying autocorrections especially with names and other sensitive wording which becomes irritating when sending emails. Another downside is that Grammarly doesn't really work in Google Docs and that's a major disappointment for anyone who uses that platform regularly for writing. The Premium plan can also feel expensive for users who may not need all of the extra features. Also, it still can't truly replace careful proofreading by a human.
