At this point, I can't even imagine writing in English without Grammarly helping me out. It has basically become part of my everyday routine.

Cost is the downside for me. I'm using it now because I got access for free but if I had to pay for it myself, I'm honestly not sure I would.

Grammarly gives real-time suggestions for spelling, grammar and style and it even lets you adjust your writing for specific genres. A few reasons I use it, 1. The spelling checks are accurate and make it much faster to catch mistakes. 2. It saves a lot of time. 3. When a sentence is wrong, the tool spots the issue and helps rewrite it. 4. The premium version is much more helpful than the free one. 5. The mobile keyboard is really good. 6. You can add team members. 7. It works almost everywhere through its extensions.

Cons

Pricing is too high and adding team members costs extra. Another downside is that Grammarly does not offer an offline version.

The only real downside is that you have to pay to unlock more of the software. My company complains about the cost but that's not really an issue with the software itself.

It's also customizable since you can choose your preferred language and disable it on certain websites when needed. Getting started is simple too,you just install the plugin or Chrome extension and it's ready to help you write better.

Cons

The free version is quite limited since it really only covers spelling and grammar correction. On top of that, the advertising feels very pushy because the company constantly encourages you to upgrade to premium. It also doesn't work everywhere, for example, it doesn't function in Google Docs which is frustrating if that's where you do most of your writing.

Using this software has been fantastic. It's simple to work with, runs well across different devices and does a really good job with everyday grammar and spelling checks. It also helps me avoid plagiarism which is a big plus. One of the biggest benefits is how it makes my emails sound more polished and professional without requiring me to spend extra time second-guessing the wording.

Only inconvenience is needing to disable it when I'm writing in other languages.

We have run into a few issues when a new release goes out before IT has a chance to update users' computers. Once the update is installed though, the problem is resolved pretty quickly.

One thing I've noticed is that when I'm editing something earlier in the text, it can start suggesting changes too quickly before I've even finished what I'm trying to fix. Sometimes it makes me think I created new mistakes, when really it's just reacting before I'm done typing. Still, it's not a huge issue and honestly I've gotten used to it.

Working on my master's thesis has been much easier with this app. It has really helped me strengthen my grammar and overall writing and it honestly feels like a lifesaver. I'm even typing this review with the app right now.

The only thing I'd want is a wider range of suggested words, with a more expanded dictionary in Grammarly.
