“reliable writing help since 2016”
Pros
May sound a bit over the top but honestly I've been very engaged with this tool since 2016. The Grammarly team has been fully capable of correcting grammatical mistakes especially for basic conversation. I'd definitely rate it 5 out of 5.
Cons
Grammarly has helped me a lot and I haven't noticed anything wrong with it so far. If I come across any issues later on, I'll share them.

“tone insights i genuinely love”
Pros
One feature I absolutely love is the tone detection because it gives me real-time insight into how my text may come across to the reader. It not only helps me catch grammar mistakes but also encourages me to recognize my writing errors and correct them. Also, it helps make my writing more concise and more engaging to read. I also rely on the metrics to check my score once I finish writing. Setting it up on any browser is incredibly simple so it is always ready to use.
Cons
Honestly I have not run into any downsides. They even offer a free plan for individuals and it provides far more than I expected. I have not faced any hassles while using it and there is really nothing I dislike about the product.

“proofreading done right”
Pros
Writing in English as my second language is much less stressful with Grammarly. It's an amazing tool for checking grammar when I'm working on articles for my website and the proofreading feature is definitely the part I appreciate most.
Cons
Something that gets on my nerves is how the correction menus pop up while I'm trying to work with the text and sometimes they get in the way of the writing itself. I know they can be turned off but it would make more sense if text correction only appeared when I actually needed or chose to use it.

“Its great!”
Pros
Something I really appreciate about this software is how it suggests better wording, like when something could sound better or look more appropriate. It has been very helpful for improving my English and making my grammar stronger. Another plus is that I can install it directly on my system which makes it convenient to use whenever I need it.
Cons
At times, it needs a stronger internet connection before it can properly suggest spelling or grammar corrections and because of that it tends to hang quite a bit.

“Comes recommended!”
Pros
Whether I'm writing papers or sending emails, Grammarly's free version does a solid job catching basic grammar and punctuation mistakes.
Cons
Since it works from a set of programmed rules, its suggestions are not always the right fix or even an improvement. I'd also rather not keep seeing "advanced" issues flagged when I haven't paid for the upgrade and can't view the suggested corrections anyway.

“the chrome extension is 10/10”
Pros
Using it through a Chrome extension is one of the best parts since the setup is very simple. It quickly highlights any misspelled words, updates automatically and overall feels very user-friendly and fast.
Cons
Sometimes though, the spelling suggestions are not completely accurate and it ends up changing certain words the wrong way. That can be a bit frustrating because I have to go back into the text and correct those words manually.

“Positive experience”
Pros
Starting out with Grammarly for professional letters and email writing has been really useful. It helps fix spelling, grammar and sentence structure and my writing has noticeably improved because of it. For someone new to the digital job market, it's been a very helpful tool.
Cons
Most of Grammarly's features work really well but the plagiarism checker is where it falls short for me. When I need plagiarism checking, I still have to switch over to Turnitin.

“Gave me writing confidence”
Pros
Grammarly has been a big help overall. Even though I have a couple of minor complaints that I'll mention below, I'm still very happy I chose to use it. It's easily the best spelling and proofreading tool I've worked with. Since I send a lot of emails and documents every day, it gives me much more confidence in what I'm sending. I don't have to stress anymore about embarrassing messages or documents full of obvious grammar mistakes. It's especially useful when I need to send a letter or email quickly while still keeping a professional tone.
Cons
Nothing to complain about. Grammarly was simple to install and use across all of my PCs and it has been incredibly helpful since I manage multiple social media accounts and need my posts to be written properly. It also catches overused words along with other grammar issues. My only real issue is that it occasionally adds HTML code into the text. That extra code can interfere with formatting on the backend of a website or inside an email marketing platform which creates problems. In those situations, I've had to turn off the add-on and paste my text directly into the web tool instead. Thankfully, Grammarly can also be set up so it doesn't run on certain websites.

“reliable writing support”
Pros
Whether I'm working on drafts, emails or presentations, this software helps me catch and correct mistakes. It gives me confidence that what I've written is accurate and polished.
Cons
There's really not much to complain about since I'm happy with the features overall. The only thing I'd still love to see added is a pronunciation feature.

“fast spelling checks”
Pros
One thing that really stands out is how quickly this software catches spelling mistakes within seconds and without missing a beat. Its response time is very reliable and the API works impressively fast as well.
Cons
An area that could use some improvement is the frontend background which feels like it needs a bit more development.

“Features are great”
Pros
Right away, the strongest part of this tool is its sentence improvement, rephrasing, double-click synonym suggestions and idea-generating features. The way it helps maintain the document's structure is also very useful. Metrics like readability score, engagement score and the citation feature have really helped me improve the quality of my content. Overall, it's an amazing tool for checking language, punctuation and spelling.
Cons
People naturally tend to look for shortcuts and by depending on tools like this too much, they may slowly lose some of their own writing instincts. In that sense, Grammarly can encourage that habit. It definitely changes the way we communicate formally in a major way.

“smart writing suggestions”
Pros
It helps by pointing out possible grammar mistakes, spelling issues and even suggesting how to complete sentences. It also refines my writing with better and more impactful word choices which makes the message I'm trying to communicate come across much more clearly. I'm really enjoying using it.
Cons
One limitation is that the browser extension still doesn't support every platform. For example, Grammarly doesn't work in MS Excel and its Google Docs support is still in beta. I'd love to see them expand compatibility across all platforms.

“Excellent tool!”
Pros
Typos are where this tool does a pretty solid job and I'd score that part around 8 or 9 out of 10. When it comes to grammar, punctuation and phrasing though, it feels much weaker, more like a 3 or 4 out of 10. If I were giving an overall score based only on what I've used, it would probably land around 2 or 3. That said, I haven't paid for the Premium version so I have to leave room for the possibility that the more advanced plan performs better. A lot of ESL learners seem to praise Grammarly quite a bit but limited language knowledge can also make it harder to notice when Grammarly misses errors or gives incorrect suggestions.
Cons
Still useful to me for essays and other school-related writing. Where it really falls apart is with fiction or more creative work. It will underline random words and push changes that just don't make sense and if I accepted them, the sentence would actually end up being grammatically wrong.

Pros
Does a really nice job suggesting the right words to fix mistakes and it also helps improve the wording of a message especially when I'm writing something for a job application or an email.
