“recommended”
Pros
Beyond spell-checking and punctuation fixes, the suggestions for simpler words and phrases are the part I enjoy most. I sometimes use language that is too complex and can make my emails or posts come across the wrong way. The tone check feature helps correct that and Grammarly also helps trim my overly long sentences into shorter, clearer ones.
Cons
There are times when the suggestions do not feel very helpful. Some of the highlighted items are not actually mistakes. I also think the app is a little expensive although I have not really seen other competing tools offer this level of service.

“Excellent tool”
Pros
For anyone who struggles with English especially writing, this app is one of the best options available. Even people who are not very skilled in English can write much better with its help. Students can use it for online assignments and employees can rely on it when writing formal letters to their bosses.
Cons
The downside is that it is a paid app and the cost is too high for many students and others who cannot afford that amount. Sadly, it is not really suitable for people who do not have a good enough job to cover the fees.

“supports my write ups”
Pros
As a student watching my budget, having a free tool that's also very simple to use has been a huge plus. The app has helped me get through plenty of papers and catches spelling errors I would have missed on my own. It's also nice that it adds hyphens automatically when they're needed.
Cons
Only thing I'd change is giving the free version a few more features though I understand the company has to make money somehow and I can't really fault them for that.

“must-have for content writers”
Pros
Being a content writer, it feels like an essential tool to have. It's very simple to use, has a reader-friendly interface and its AI is especially helpful for people who don't yet have the skills to edit papers professionally on their own.
Cons
At times, the thesaurus feature doesn't function as well as it should. There are also grammar suggestions that don't always feel relevant.

“smart grammar help everywhere”
Pros
Compared with the basic proofreading tools in Word or the default checker on a computer, the tool feels much more advanced. It catches grammar and spelling mistakes really well and another big plus is that you do not always have to copy and paste your writing into its site for review. Since it works as a browser extension, it checks what I write across most websites which is a huge advantage because the built-in autocorrect on a computer often misses grammar issues.
Cons
Something that bothers me is how the little green icon can get in the way on certain sites especially Canva, where it can make the site's features harder to use and sometimes even block the text itself. It is also frustrating that Grammarly does not work consistently everywhere. I still run into issues with it not working in places like Facebook Messenger and that is just one of several sites where I have had trouble getting Grammarly to function properly.

“easy to use”
Pros
From term papers to quick tweets, Grammarly has helped me catch mistakes right away. It spots errors almost instantly which saves me a lot of time by fixing them before I send anything out.
Cons
Grammarly has saved me hours that I would have spent correcting grammar mistakes. I really appreciate that it's free and helps me work faster. That said, it can struggle at times when the spelling or sentence structure is too far off.

“best-in-class”
Pros
Among automated proofreading tools, Grammarly really sets the bar. The interface is adaptive and simple to navigate which makes it pleasant to use. I've spent time with both the free plan and the Pro version and both have worked exceptionally well for me. The tone checker in the free Chrome extension is one of my favorite features. Overall, Grammarly clearly feels ahead of other competing tools.
Cons
I use it on my own as a single user and Honestly I haven't run into any issues so far.

“proofreading companion”
Pros
Right away, the best thing about Grammarly is how simple and polished the app feels. You don't need any special knowledge to start using it and the interface is very comfortable to work with. It reviews the full piece of writing and checks spelling, grammar and writing style in very little time. Another useful feature is the goal-setting option, where you can choose the audience, formality, domain, tone and intent of the article. Based on those settings, Grammarly adjusts its grammar and style suggestions accordingly. It also provides a writing score across correctness, clarity, engagement and delivery, plus an overall performance score. That makes it easier to understand the quality of the article or any piece of writing. The plagiarism checker included in the premium and business plans is also accurate at detecting copied content.
Cons
The biggest downside is the price which feels expensive. It also does not offer an offline writing option.

“It's actually good”
Pros
Ever since my English teacher suggested Grammarly, it has been such a helpful app for me. English is not my first language so having it while I write essays makes a big difference. I rely on it all the time because it's incredibly useful and every feature feels excellent. Now that I work as a data capturer at my company, I still use it regularly and it continues to help me do very well.
Cons
No complaints at all. The only thing I wish is that I could use it across my social media apps as well.

“automatic help”
Pros
Right away, the best part is that I do not even have to click or activate anything because it works automatically and makes everything I am doing much simpler. Even while writing this review, the extension is helping me check that my punctuation is correct and that my spelling is accurate.
Cons
Nothing that I have disliked about this extension at all, it has been perfect for me.

“fast proofreading”
Pros
Between my job and my business, I'm constantly juggling tasks and typing as fast as I can to keep up. I also spend a lot of time writing real estate descriptions so having Grammarly catch typos and grammar mistakes without slowing me down is a big help. It's especially useful when it picks up on the tense I'm using, like when I'm writing in the past and adjusts the tone accordingly. Really helpful tool!
Cons
There are times when it doesn't work exactly when I need it to and occasionally it glitches and won't let me select the suggested spelling correction.

“Liked it”
Pros
You get a powerful, feature-rich set of tools here without having to pay a premium which makes it a very affordable option.
Cons
Although it's marketed as user-friendly and meant to save time, every computer where I installed the plugin and tools would slow to a crawl and eventually freeze whenever Grammarly was running in the background. For whatever reason, it was a major drain on system resources. I'm hoping the product has improved since then but I moved on a while ago to another solution that didn't have that same problem.

“lifesaver for error-free emails”
Pros
Ever since I started with Grammarly's free version in 2019 and moved to the paid plan in July 2021, it has become a real lifesaver for me. I send a large number of emails every day and this tool has helped me avoid mistakes completely. The grammar and spelling corrections work exactly the way I expect them to and have been very reliable.
Cons
One area that still needs work is the tone improvement suggestions. At times, it doesn't offer any recommendation even when a sentence still feels less than perfect. That part could definitely be refined further.

“saves so much time”
Pros
Good one! Every piece of text I write gets reviewed and since I added it to Chrome, it checks everything in real time without needing to copy and paste anything into a separate tool. It's accurate, quick and saves me a lot of time.
Cons
Something I'd love to see is support for checking formatting based on the most common style guides.

“reliable final proofreading layer”
Pros
Before anything gets published, this is the final checkpoint our team relies on. With so many people reviewing different pieces of text, small mistakes can slip through pretty easily. Running everything through Grammarly helps us catch grammar and syntax issues that might otherwise be missed.
Cons
Like most software, the collaboration side could use some work. When you're working with a bigger team, it would be more helpful if multiple users could hand le and respond to Grammarly's suggestions.

“timely feedbacks”
Pros
Professional communication has been much more polished since using this software. It helps stop awkward, unclear or grammatically incorrect messages from being sent to coworkers especially in work-related conversations and when sharing professional material. Another big plus is that the grammar and punctuation suggestions appear in real time so mistakes can be spotted and corrected right away which makes writing messages far more efficient. Also the pricing feels excellent for the level of quality and value the service provides.
Cons
A drawback that comes to mind with Grammarly is that it can slow down the device it's running on. It's not a massive performance hit but the change is noticeable enough that some people, depending on how sensitive they are to device speed, may see it as a downside. It seems to happen because the software uses a fair amount of RAM so on devices with more memory, the impact may barely be noticeable. In my case, the value of the service still far outweighs the small dip in device performance.

“polished writing”
Pros
Working as a freelancer on online platforms, reputation matters a lot. Grammarly gives me confidence that my writing is grammatically correct and it helps me keep the tone warm and approachable while still sounding professional.
Cons
The only area I'd improve is its hand ling of business-specific language. It occasionally misses marketing terms so I still have to manually confirm certain words as correct.

“great for freelancers”
Pros
Writing feels a lot less stressful with Grammarly because it catches the errors in my business writing, whether it is spelling, punctuation or grammar. With its writing support, I am able to express myself more clearly and produce words and sentences that are free from mistakes.
Cons
One downside is that it depends on a reliable internet connection to work properly. It is also not completely free since you only unlock more features and benefits when you move up to the premium plan.
