Pros

Using it has been pretty simple because the layout is clear and simple to follow. The search feature has worked well for me which matters a lot since I rely on it to quickly find answers to specific questions. It also fits nicely into how I manage tasks since it shows up as a login button right on my main HR landing page. That makes it convenient to handle things like checking health care details or submitting leave requests. Overall, it has been a useful way to access employee resources and manage leave-related tasks.

Cons

The only downside is that the loading time can be a bit slow.

Pros

What really stands out to me is how clearly it shows when I'm getting paid and who I'm working with. Having that level of transparency across the agency is really helpful especially with things like holiday schedules and pay dates all available in one place. I also enjoy seeing small details about my co-workers because it makes getting to know the team feel more natural. Also, it's simple to join polls, learn more about everyone I work with and even earn badges which adds a fun element to the platform. Getting everything set up at the beginning was also very simple which made the whole experience even better.

Cons

I'd still like to see is more customization in the calendar feature. It's already one of the parts I use most because I can quickly check agency holidays but it would be even better if I could add personal items for my own view as well. Having both the main agency calendar and a separate individual-only calendar would make that feature much more useful.

Pros

Right away, it felt very user-friendly. The interface isn't cluttered at all and everything is organized in a clear, structured way so getting to the information and links I need doesn't take any effort. I also really appreciate how accessible the links are and how visible the notifications stay. It's convenient to scroll through them and pick the ones I want to read more about. Also, having quick access to our help desk, job postings and links to the company's software has been very useful. The initial setup was also simple on both my phone and my computer.

Cons

Nothing specific comes to mind. It has been pleasant and simple to use.

Starting my day with it has become routine because it gives me a clear view of upcoming information for our organization. The platform is very user-friendly and has a really appealing design which makes it pleasant to check regularly. From what I know, the initial setup was also quite simple so getting started felt convenient. At this point, I honestly haven't run into anything that seems to need improvement.

There really isn't anything I dislike about it.

Pros

Getting around the platform feels very simple and it's simple to navigate. The different hubs are also really useful as starting points when you're trying to troubleshoot or solve an issue on your own.

One thing that gets a bit annoying is having to switch the AI search on every single time I use the search bar. It would be much better if there were an option to keep it permanently turned on or off.

There's a wide range of options for presenting content in different ways. The implementation team was fantastic to work with and made the whole process feel effortless.

Right from the beginning, it was simple to get around. The navigation feels user friendly and I really enjoy the interactions and updates it provides. Getting everything set up was also simple which made starting out with it a really positive experience.

Has been very user-friendly which is something I really value. Being able to set up groups is a big plus because it lets us share information with the right audiences instead of sending everything company-wide. I also appreciate having tasks handled in one place rather than jumping between multiple platforms. The setup at the beginning was simple and overall it has been a really useful tool for keeping employees informed about important updates, events and employee milestones.

Cons

At the moment, if the AI search feature is not turned on, employees have a hard time finding information in this tool which ends up causing a lot of repeated questions.

Navigating it feels very simple and the whole platform is user-friendly. The search feature is the one I rely on most and I also really enjoy posting polls because they give our employees a simple way to interact. It helps them find documents quickly and everything feels well organized.

Few of the formatting options in posts and pages can be a bit tricky to work with but aside from that, everything functions really well.

It feels a lot like Facebook but it's built specifically for RISE which makes it familiar and relevant at the same time. At one point I wasn't sure how to navigate part of the platform so I contacted support and they walked me through the fix within five minutes.

Cons

After using the system for two months now, I still haven't come across anything I dislike.

Pros

Haystack feels like a much more polished and user-friendly intranet space for employees. SharePoint was usable but it never really worked as a strong central hub for checking current events or viewing employee profiles. Haystack does a better job with company communication org charts and giving people one general place to go for important company resources. We needed an all-in-one hub where employees could access everything more conveniently and it has delivered on that.

Cons

The Azure grouping can be a little confusing at times although that may also come down to how we have everything configured. Aside from that, it works the way we need it to and gets the job done.

Pros

Been a really solid product overall and the team behind it has been fantastic. Their support is friendly, easy to reach and it's clear they genuinely pay attention to customer feedback while continuing to improve the platform.

One thing that has stood out in a positive way is the search feature which has been very useful. The interface is clean, the system is fairly simple to use and the learning curve feels lighter than with most other tools so even though implementation is never simple, this has been better than most.

Does a really nice job of keeping me connected to my job at Our Lady of the Valley. I appreciate being able to quickly pull up company policies related to CSM senior living management. It's also nice that the platform shows all employee members and gives you ways to do shout-outs, share updates with coworkers and keep up with anniversaries and birthdays. Being able to add a profile picture is a nice touch too. Since it's connected to my second job, the app really helps me stay involved, informed and in communication with everyone.

I think searching for policies could be better. It feels a bit harder than it should be and isn't very user friendly when trying to locate a specific policy. I think it would make much more sense if policies had their own dedicated option in the main menu drop-down list.

Appearance and the way the tools are organized really appealed to me. Getting everything set up at the beginning was simple too so it was easy to start using it right away.

What bothers me is that push emails are sent inconsistently at times and other times not at all though that may be tied to my organization. I'd actually rather not receive additional emails.

I also really enjoy that it works like our own community database. Also, it supports collaboration between our company and employees really well which makes working together much simpler.

This software has a fun, personable interface that feels much warmer than sending a cold email. It's simple to navigate and use and it works really well as a central place for positive reinforcement and company-wide announcements instead of handling everything through email. Getting it up and running was simple too and it only took about a week for everyone to start using it.

It probably has additional features we could be taking advantage of but I'm not really aware of what they are. I also still have to bounce between Teams, Workamajig, Haystack and email.

Didn't come across much of a downside. There is a slight learning curve at first but the setup team does a fantastic job helping with that.

Navigating it feels very simple so getting to important documents and keeping them organized is smooth. That makes a big difference when I need to manage company-wide documentation efficiently which is a key part of my job. Having quick access to company policies inside Haystack is also incredibly helpful in my day-to-day work. The setup process was very simple from the start so there were no hurdles getting up and running and using the platform right away. I'm extremely happy with the product and that's exactly why I'd confidently recommend Haystack to others after rating it a 10 out of 10.
