“custom themes and quick setup”
Pros
Getting started with Postbox took very little time and using it feels easy. The personalization settings are a nice touch and there are plenty of themes to choose from which makes the whole experience more enjoyable.
Cons
I'd really for them to add a pop-up dialog when checking for new mail. The small line at the bottom of the screen is difficult to read and easy to miss.

“logical layout and excellent contact filters”
Pros
Right away, the interface feels clear and logically organized so I'm never left guessing where a feature might be tucked away. The contact filtering is one of Postbox's standout features for me and honestly it may even be the best part of the whole app.
Cons
It's hard to come up with much to complain about. If I had to point to something, it would be the default setup not having a particularly strong spam filter. Still, that's something that can be improved and I'm very happy with the choice I made.

“clean inbox with powerful search”
Pros
Using it feels very easy. Grouping emails together keeps the inbox organized, archiving messages is simple and the search features are excellent when I need to find something quickly.
Cons
A couple of things are still missing for me, there's no calendar available and when an email is marked as spam, it doesn't get moved to the junk folder.

“powerful inbox organization”
Pros
Postbox comes with a solid set of features for keeping an inbox under control, including filters, tags and folders that make it much faster to sort organize and find emails. It also connects with well-known productivity services like Zapier and Dropbox which helps a lot when handling email alongside other tasks and projects.
Cons
The downside is that there still isn't a mobile app and I really hope they add one in the future. I'd also love to see Google Drive integration included.

“best of the best”
Pros
After moving over to Proton Mail, I tried using it with Thunderbird, emClient and Mailbird but each one gave me problems. Then I came across Postbox and it worked perfectly with Proton right away. Beyond that, I was genuinely blown away by how good this email client is overall , in my opinion, it's absolutely the best of the best.
Cons
Honestly I don't have any real complaints. The only thing I'd love to see added is an "Undo Send" feature, like a 20-second delay option before an email actually goes out. I've already submitted it as a feature request... pretty, pretty please!

“Mail management made simple”

Handling mail is easy when you have a lot of email addresses to manage.

Templates that place the logo at the top don't get added automatically as a signature.

“Lifetime value”
Pros
Filtering is the biggest priority I have in an email app and Postbox handles it really well. I can set up rules like moving messages from a certain domain or specific email address into a folder and tagging them with a topic which is exactly what I need. The student discount is also a nice bonus. Also, they offer a lifetime license and the app keeps getting updated regularly.
Cons
Support is the part that really needs work and it should be included at no extra cost. They charge $8 per incident which feels wrong for a paid app. They say they will refund it if the issue turns out to be a bug but it still does not make much sense to pay extra just to get help with software you already purchased.

“Dependable daily use”
Pros
Right from the start, the setup was very clean and overall I haven't run into any issues with it.
Cons
There really isn't any feature I dislike. Postbox has been reliable and that's exactly what I need since I use it every day.

“easy shortcuts”
Pros
The interface looks polished and attractive, the shortcuts are really powerful and being able to color messages with a single key is very convenient. It's also very easy to use.
Cons
A few newer features are still missing, such as snooze.

“smart folders save the day”
Pros
One feature that really works well for me is the smart folders especially how quickly and simply they can be set up. Since I manage email addresses across three domains, covering two businesses as well as personal email, they've been a real lifesaver and give me something Outlook 2019 just couldn't offer.
Cons
Using it has also brought some frustrations. Because I have cerebral palsy, the new scroll bars slow me down and feel completely unnecessary. The idea behind them also comes across as patronizing, as if standard scroll bars are somehow beyond non-disabled users which is honestly insulting. Also, encryption should be much simpler to configure. Not being able to schedule emails to send at a specific date and time feels like a pretty obvious missing feature and the fact that I can't insert a signature at the cursor is another annoyance. The lack of read receipt options is a big disappointment as well and quite surprising.

“Perfect for multi-account email work”
Pros
Handling lots of accounts at once has been no problem at all and it keeps running reliably. One feature I really appreciate is being able to change the folder where emails are stored so my Windows C drive doesn't keep filling up over time. The standout feature for me though, is the color tagging with the numeric keypad. When you're juggling multiple accounts and several tasks at the same time, colored subjects make everything much easier to organize and track. The developers deserve 5 stars and the Customer Service team does too. They've helped me more than once with new features and a few small system-related issues. At one point my Windows fonts got corrupted and they even helped me figure out the solution, even though that wasn't really their responsibility. Georgia font in emails was causing problems and they still took the time to assist. I've been using the app every day for the past two years and since moving over from Thunderbird, Outlook, eM Client and a few other programs I tested, I can honestly say Postbox has been the best of all of them in my opinion. I highly recommend it.
Cons
The only real downside for me is the limited list of supported languages. I'm from Poland and there still isn't a Polish translation, even though Russian is available along with other major languages like Italian and German. Other similar apps do offer Polish. I understand that adding more language support takes time and resources but not everyone is comfortable enough with English to work only with an English interface. Because of that, it's harder for me to recommend the app to friends here in my country.

“Filters really save time”
Pros
Right away, the smart filters and tagging made it much easier to stay focused. The keyboard shortcuts are a big plus too and they've cut down the time I spend managing email quite a bit. When I was just getting started, Support was also really helpful in clearing up a feature I had misunderstood and getting me on track.
Cons
Nothing worth calling out, honestly. It's been excellent. I'm only adding this because the field requires more characters.

“Quick search feature”
Pros
Postbox is fairly easy to work with. The interface looks polished and thoughtfully designed which makes it comfortable to navigate. Its search tools are especially powerful and once the initial indexing is finished, results come back very quickly. Being able to filter messages fast by contact name or other email details is another feature I really appreciate. I also like that attachments are shown by name only making them much quicker to scan and review.
Cons
What really bothers me is how topic tagging works. When I assign a topic to one message, it applies that same topic to the entire conversation thread. A lot of the time, I need to tag separate emails within the same conversation differently but the software doesn't allow that. I've been using it for years and as my archive of saved emails keeps growing, it's become more important to organize messages individually. Because of that, this particular feature is becoming frustrating enough that I'm starting to look at other email software.

“exactly the email manager i needed”
Pros
Handling multiple email addresses in Postbox has been exactly what I was missing. It keeps all my accounts organized without turning into the kind of clutter I used to deal with in Outlook Desktop and Outlook was constantly crashing on me as well. After that, I moved my accounts over to Gmail but that had its own limitations and I was never completely confident that my emails were always getting through. I had been searching for something like Postbox for a long time without any luck until I saw it mentioned in a Facebook group. I looked it up, started the trial and ended up buying it just a few days later because it was already clear it was the right fit.
Cons
I honestly haven't run into any downsides yet. Everything is working exactly the way I want it to.

“quite reliable!”
Pros
This is solid, dependable software that handles all the advanced tasks you need from an email client without wasting time.
Cons
Interface sticks to that classic Mac OSX style which doesn't really appeal to me personally. You can at least customize the colors but it still feels like it could be more modern and user friendly.

Pros
Compared with other tools I've used, like Outlook and Google, this one works much better for me. The layout makes sense and the available options are a big plus.

“Feature-packed inbox upgrade”
Pros
After IncrediMail was discontinued, I switched over to Postbox and honestly wish I had made the move sooner. It offers more functionality overall especially the ability to group emails into categories which has been really useful.
Cons
One issue is that the junk mail filtering doesn't work very well and sometimes sends categorized messages to spam. Another downside is that when I get emails in Arabic, I still have to use Google separately because it includes the extra translation feature that Postbox doesn't have.

“We loved it”
Pros
Getting started with it was quick and the interface is simple to work with. It's also packed with features so it covers everything I need without feeling complicated.
Cons
As with most third-party tools, there are occasional hiccups when connecting with Apple or Google mail servers, mainly because Apple and Google do not always stick closely to all IMAP standards.
