“clear team alignment visibility”
Pros
One thing that really works well is how effortlessly you can align the company's objectives across as many teams as needed, while making any lack of alignment immediately and unmistakably visible. The customer support is also fantastic.
Cons
There are still a few configuration options I'd like to have, such as setting the reflection period time.

“regular updates keeps us on track”
Pros
Each week, our team uses it to keep everyone updated on the key things we completed, what we're planning for the following week and to share an informal status update on our role in bigger projects. It also gives us a simple way to flag where we might need support from others on the team. One thing I really appreciate is how relaxed it feels, it never comes across as overly corporate or stiff, just a comfortable place to collect our thoughts and keep tabs on projects.
Cons
Honestly can't think of anything I'd change or improve.

“lightweight alignment that keeps teams on track”
Pros
It has been a really easy way to build momentum across the entire organization. We use it company-wide to monitor progress on quarterly goals down to the individual level. It does a fantastic job of keeping everyone aligned around goals and ongoing progress and the weekly confidence check-ins make it clear when something may be at risk. The prompts and interface for sharing feedback and appreciation with people are also genuinely helpful.
Cons
Would be even better if there were a way to track key business metrics too.

“Excellent for us”
Pros
Across the complexity of software development, we needed a easy way to keep employees engaged and celebrate team accomplishments. It made that possible across multiple departments in a consistent, simple-to-use way.
Cons
At a larger-company, executive-level view, it was harder to manage. Monitoring usage and setting consistent standards across the organization was challenging.

“user-friendly”
Pros
Attaching key results makes it simple to keep track of which tasks contributed to weekly goals. The platform is very user friendly, easy to navigate and simple to use overall. It also fit naturally into a weekly routine without much effort.
Cons
One thing that would improve it is having reflection notifications include a fuller recap of what the team actually wrote instead of only showing their summary. The summary feature also feels like extra work to fill out especially if the system could automatically generate it from what was completed. It would also help if the home screen displayed teammates' priorities and concerns, along with a simple way to filter them for larger teams, such as favoriting frequent collaborators or sorting by who is assigned to specific key results.

“quick OKR visibility”
Pros
Works well because it isn't trying to be an all-in-one tool for every possible need. It keeps things simple and our team can check OKRs and see progress within seconds.
Cons
An area that could still improve is how users view other people's deliverables and understand how one person's progress connects to a larger goal. That said, it's not a deal breaker since the summary pages are still clear and easy to follow.

“clean interface!”
Pros
Entering my weekly status feels really easy thanks to the clean layout and the keyboard shortcuts are a nice touch that I really appreciate. It's also helpful that it reminds me what I entered the previous week and having a spot for a gif at the end adds a fun little finish.
Cons
Navigation is probably the part I enjoy the least. I have a sidebar with our top-level company, then "All Teams" then "All goals" and then my own team, even though I'm only part of one. There's also a header with overlapping links that take me to several pages but not all of them. Streamlining that setup would make the overall experience better and make things easier to locate. Another area where it could grow is guidance around OKRs. Our company's formats are a bit inconsistent which is partly on us but it would still be useful if Koan offered tips for writing an Objective that is more inspirational versus a KR that is clearly measurable.

“helpful for sharing stories”
Pros
Our team relies on it to share customer stories internally and it has been really valuable for creating a more consistent process. It's also made it much easier to get those stories in front of senior leadership. The Slack integration is a big plus too especially for the reminders to submit stories on time.
Cons
I've only used it for that one specific purpose of sharing customer stories and the navigation felt a bit confusing at the beginning. After using it a few times though, it started to make a lot more sense.

“Easy to use”
Pros
Everything is laid out in a well-structured way that walks you through setting goals for both the company and the team. The flexible Key Results also work really well because they can adapt to all kinds of measurement needs.
Cons
Presentation mode is a really nice feature in theory but I have a hard time following the order of the presentation as it moves along.

“Focused OKR alignment”
Pros
The way this platform adjusts to our style of OKRs has been really valuable. It keeps the team centered on the work that matters most to hit our results and the weekly reflection feature is especially helpful for prioritizing and supporting one another.
Cons
Con is that if you miss a weekly reflection, the tasks from two weeks earlier disappear from view so you have to go back and search for them.

“helpful slack check-ins and metrics”
Pros
A feature that's been really useful is the Slack integration for daily check-ins which makes the whole check-in process much more easier. It also includes simple metrics that help our team track progress clearly and compare where we are against our end goals.
Cons
At the moment, once a daily check-in has been submitted, there isn't a way to go back and make changes.

“fast, thoughtful company overview”
Pros
Feels very easy. The design is polished, pages load quickly, it prompts the right important questions and it makes it simple to get a clear overview of the entire company.
Cons
Something that could make it even better would be adding an icon to leave kudos on other teams' reflections.

“five stars from me”
Pros
Managing OKRs across our teams is easy and the wider organization has really cut down the effort and overhead that used to come with the whole OKR process. It has completely changed how we work with OKRs and how we share progress from week to week. The Reflections feature has become our go-to for documenting team progress and making it visible to other teams as well as leadership.
Cons
One thing I'd still like is more integrations with the other tools we use to track project activity so that information can connect more directly into our weekly reflections.

Pros
It feels user friendly to use and gives us a solid way to keep all of our cross-functional team members accountable for the priorities we've decided matter most.

“OKR alignment done right”
Pros
Across all the OKR tools I come across as a consultant, it really stands apart for how strongly it supports ongoing conversation. The discussions around OKRs between teams, peers and leaders at every level are easily the most valuable part of the framework for any organization. It helps keep those conversations structured, consistent and happening regularly with all of our clients.
Cons
There is nothing specific that I dislike about the product. Different OKR platforms are built with different priorities in mind but this tool is clearly the one that matches my methodology best.

“goal tracking that lifts the team”
Pros
From day one, it has been very simple to use. Everything built into the software feels intentional and genuinely helps us not just hit our goals but go beyond them. I really appreciate being able to closely monitor our goals while keeping the whole team aligned and informed. There have been a few times when we set goals that felt like a stretch yet we ended up surpassing them. That really showed us how much more our small team was capable of than we originally believed.
Cons
Quite a strong fit for our team overall. We've been using it for more than a year and honestly I don't have any complaints at this point.

“powerful alignment and focus”
Pros
Using this platform has made it much simpler to stay on top of priorities. Its structure pushes you to be clear about the key activities and work streams that will actually drive your main objectives, while also supporting true 360-degree communication across teams and divisions. It becomes obvious very quickly where people are misaligned on what matters most or where gaps exist between teams, functions and individual responsibilities so those issues can be addressed fast. As an organisation scales, it becomes an essential leadership tool and honestly it is just as valuable even in a smaller business when you need real alignment and focus. You could try to map and monitor your OKRs in a spreadsheet but in reality that approach falls apart. The weekly update and reflection feature creates a really valuable cadence. It can feel uncomfortable at times but that is exactly why it helps because it keeps everyone returning to the priorities and plans that matter across individuals, teams and the wider organisation.
Cons
Any downside here is less about the software and more about what OKR implementation actually requires. This tool will not do the thinking for you. It is incredibly useful but the real work still lies in sitting down with your team to define the most important objectives for your current stage of growth, then choosing the small set of key results that will move you there across different functions, teams and responsibility levels. If you are new to OKRs, be prepared to revisit, adjust and redo things and that process is valuable in itself. When clarity is missing in the real world, it will show up in the platform. Being able to spot and fix that is extremely helpful but it is challenging and takes persistence. On the support side, we are 8 to 10 hours ahead of the USA so I would really appreciate broader coverage beyond standard US business hours.

“Weekly updates are great”
Pros
Posting weekly updates is really easy and it makes it simple to collect team feedback on which OKRs are at risk and which ones are staying on track. The weekly trend analysis is especially useful and the team-only views help each group stay focused on what matters most to them.
Cons
This isn't just a tool that enables OKRs and I'd be interested in seeing more built-in guidance around what actually makes an OKR effective. That said, this kind of support may be better suited to a consultant or implementation partner.
