“It works so well”

Pros

One of the best things about it is how many useful benefits it brings. It was very simple to get set up and start using. I'm part of a team of around 40 to 50 people and it really helps that I can go in and review weekly updates from individual team members as well as the department overall. It also connects with our personal and team OKRs which gives us extra direction and support as we work toward our goals. This may sound like a small thing but the weekly reminder that my review is due is incredibly helpful. I work in a very busy industry so staying current on weekly reviews really matters. The real bonus for me is that every week it reminds me of the to-dos I entered the week before so I can mark off what I completed and carry over anything I didn't finish into the next week's list. Overall, it's been a very valuable product and I would absolutely recommend it to any team that cares about working together to meet their goals.

Cons

Honestly after using the software for the past 6 months, I haven't come across anything I dislike about it.

“OKR tracking is spot on!”

Pros

Getting started with it was surprisingly easy and using it has actually made setting and tracking OKRs enjoyable which I never thought I'd say. It really helps me stay productive and focused especially with the weekly reflections and reminders that keep my priorities front and center.

Cons

Sure, any software can always be refined but it honestly addresses the pain points I had. I really don't have any actual complaints.

“Quite helpful”

Pros

Having an accessible tier made it simple for my team to get familiar with the product and stay organized from the start. The OKR framework is really strong and the weekly reflections have become a regular part of how our team works now. We haven't begun using the integrations yet but it's encouraging to know they're building connections with tools like Jira to bring different work streams together.

Cons

There's definitely a decent amount of complexity involved in doing OKRs well and that's largely unavoidable. It would be interesting to see whether they can adjust the framework over time and make it a bit simpler.

“weekly reflection keeps me focused”

Pros

That weekly reflection feature is light to use but it still packs a lot of value when it comes to tracking progress and planning the next steps ahead.

Cons

Still I think there is quite a bit of manual entry involved and I have to update items one by one instead of importing or making batch changes. That makes the overall process feel a bit more tiring, even though it doesn't really get in the way of the core functionality.

“clear visibility into goals”

Pros

It's really helpful to get a read on what everyone is thinking about our goals and projects and I also appreciate that the tool doesn't come across as bureaucratic or overly corporate.

Cons

Every now and then, there are small glitches or errors that make the product feel a little less reliable.

“goal tracking done right”

Pros

Our team relies on this tool to monitor quarterly goals and turn it into a project management hub for assigning owners to objectives and key results. We also use it every week to submit reflections across teams and the whole company which really helps keep everyone aligned and moving toward success. The product is very simple to use and the interface and overall user experience are really well done.

Cons

Really I don't have any complaints. The software works perfectly for me.

“keeps us all connected”

Pros

Keeping up with multiple teams across my organization each week is much easier with it. The reflection questions help us check our progress, celebrate each other's wins and speak up when support is needed. My favorite part is being able to customize those questions because it adds a more personal, human side to team conversations. It has helped us get to know one another better and build a stronger sense of community and belonging. Also, their customer service is fantastic and getting started only takes a few minutes.

Cons

I don't end up using every feature but I do appreciate having them available whenever I need them.

“Had a positive experience”

Pros

Using it has been very easy and the biggest value comes from the weekly reflections along with the Slack integration. That combination keeps my Level 3 support analyst team focused not only on their daily responsibilities but also on the special projects that help us make progress on key objectives. It has brought real alignment and a stronger sense of focus across the team.

Cons

One thing still missing is a Microsoft Outlook integration that could automatically pull in calendar data and give me a weekly summary.

“Support is good”

Pros

Right from the start, the interface felt welcoming and supportive. It fits our ScaleUp and OKR process really well and it has been a genuine help in getting everything moving. The weekly reflections are another big plus since they encourage the kind of thinking we want to build.

Cons

It does have a short learning curve before I understood all the features but it wasn't a major issue. The reminder emails for the weekly reflections can feel a bit persistent at times though I assume that's intentional.

“too good”

Pros

The easy setup really helps when you're trying to get a team to embrace OKRs and make them part of the daily workflow. The weekly reflection reminders by email and Slack are especially useful and work really well.

Cons

Since it's still a newer product, you can expect a few small bugs here and there. Nothing major at this point though.

“made us more productive!”

Pros

Switching from spreadsheets to this weekly OKR setup has been a huge upgrade. The interface is much better and it gives us clearer detail and progress updates which makes everything far simpler to keep track of. Our team has gotten a lot of value out of using this tool.

Cons

There are still a few additions I'd love to see especially around feedback, such as peer and upward feedback, along with the ability to reply to feedback from a supervisor. The mobile experience could also use work since filling out reflections on a phone is currently a bit awkward.

“helpful support and resources”

Pros

Customer service has been really helpful and the library of support articles is just as useful.

Cons

I'm not a fan of the way the product tells you when you're late submitting a weekly reflection. If they're going to keep that reminder, they should at least make the reflection submission process simpler.

“Promotes real accountability”

Pros

Right away, the software feels polished and visually appealing but beyond that, it plays a really important role in keeping the organization on track. It's user friendly enough that submitting my weekly reflections feels natural instead of overwhelming. More than anything, Koan helps create accountability and that's the feature that matters most to me because it keeps me responsible for my tasks.

Cons

Something that could make it even better would be reminders for upcoming tasks next week, maybe through a ping or integration with my Google Calendar.

“Excellent workflow and adoption”

Pros

Getting started with it felt genuinely smooth and the overall user flow is excellent. We were able to roll out the tool quickly and finally move away from relying on spreadsheets. It also offers the right mix of features to handle most of what we need, including lightweight API integration.

Cons

That said, we still lack a few customization options that are specific to our internal processes and cadence.

“transparent goals at a glance”

Pros

At any point, I can check how the business is performing without waiting around for team meetings or quarterly All-Hands. The platform lets me see where the company stands against our goals whenever I want and I can also read leaders' perspectives on whether we're on track to meet them. If something about performance isn't clear, I'm able to go directly to the appropriate leader and ask. That level of visibility and efficiency means a lot and it also shows that our executives genuinely trust employees with this kind of information.

Cons

Process of getting to the reflections section and entering reflections itself feels a bit outdated.

“weekly targets keep teams aligned”

Pros

What really works well is how simple it is to use and it instantly keeps your team updated on all the wins from the week. It's a really effective way to get everyone aligned especially in an organization where teams tend to work in silos.

Cons

It still feels like it's missing a few features that would make it feel more like a premium product. I'd love to see it combine OKR or goal management with a project management tool for handling daily tasks because having to rely on multiple tools for that is something I'd rather avoid.

“Its easy to handle”

Pros

One thing this platform gets absolutely right is creating smooth channels for vertical communication and reporting in a scalable, repeatable way. That structure makes accountability much clearer and also helps a lot when escalations need to happen. I really love that about it.

Cons

Honestly I don't have any major complaints. The team updates the software so frequently that when a missing feature starts to bother me, they're usually already working on a fix. More than once, I've noticed something absent and by the time my weekly update came around the following week, it had already been added. That's happened several times now.

“effective department communication”

Pros

This platform lets us stay in touch with each department individually which is really important for us as an international organization. We need a system that supports communication around specific weekly goals and also gives teams a way to share their thoughts about how their week went and it does that well.

Cons

Downside is that it isn't well optimized for mobile devices and making changes through the system isn't very effective.

“Overall, im satisfied”

Pros

A feature our team really enjoys is the weekly status update. It gives everyone a clear view of what each person is working on and where they might be blocked. After seeing plenty of management tools rolled out over the years, it stands out as a really effective way to keep our work coordinated. We've even turned it into a fun little competition to see who sends in their status first and who ends up last.

Cons

We still haven't taken advantage of everything the platform offers especially OKRs, mainly because our team is only six people. That part of the software may end up being more valuable for larger organizations.

“fast setup and responsive support”

Pros

Getting started with it took very little effort. The team also shared helpful materials to introduce OKRs to everyone internally and make onboarding a lot easier. Any time I had a question, live chat was usually there with a real-time response. I also appreciate that they keep rolling out new features regularly without making the product feel bloated or overloaded.

Cons

I'd still like to see more export and print options added. It would also be useful if there were stronger features for 1 on 1s and performance management. The UX can be a little confusing at times as well especially because the team and company views look so similar.
