One thing I really appreciated was how well it supports collaboration across teams. Being able to share company-wide OKRs while also drilling down into each member's details is genuinely valuable. It helps everyone feel involved and motivated to move their OKRs forward. Even when the objectives are complex, they still stay relevant and help the team tackle real challenges. Once everything is properly filled in, the tool becomes extremely powerful.

Cons

Getting the OKRs set up correctly is absolutely essential, otherwise the method doesn't really work. That means you need to invest time upfront to learn how OKRs function and how to write them properly. Also, the gap between the free and paid versions is fairly significant. The free plan is very good to get started but once you become comfortable with Quantive, upgrading feels almost necessary.

Pros

Implementing and tracking OKRs with this software feels simple and transparent. The insights, information, resources and support are all excellent and they really help you get the most out of the OKR approach when working toward goals.

So far, I haven't used any other OKR software so I can't really point to anything I like least.

The layout is well designed, simple to navigate and very organized. It doesn't take much time each week to complete updates and it gives a clear view of what's going on within your team as well as across other teams in the organization.

Right from the start, the platform has felt simple and user friendly. I really appreciate that it keeps getting updated. I also love that everything saves automatically, that I can access it from any device and that the reminder features are genuinely useful.

Keeping my management chain updated on my team's project status is easy with it. I can also quickly see how other teams are progressing which helps a lot. My group relies on it for weekly updates and we track all of our quarterly objectives there as well. We also use the platform to highlight issues that could affect next week's deliverables and make sure they're visible early.

So it fits our use case really well overall. We haven't started using the Slack integration yet but it seems like something I'd probably want to try.

This tool makes it simple to set up OKRs and assign owners and the weekly reflections do a really good job of keeping the team involved and aware of how things are progressing. The part I appreciated most though, was the Jira and Slack integrations. In Slack, it supports check-ins for async stand-ups and with Jira, it lets us pull issues directly into progress updates or challenges within weekly reflections. Overall, it has been a very solid tool for the team.

Earlier on, there were a few minor issues with adding more than one item to weekly reflections, for example but those were resolved pretty quickly. At the moment, I occasionally notice some Jira issues missing when I want to add them to reflections. It would also be helpful to have the option to set check-in reminders every two weeks instead of only weekly.

Interface feels very user friendly so I can spend my time updating my team on how things are progressing instead of trying to work out how the software functions.

Does take a little time to get comfortable with the terminology used in the OKR methodology so there's a slight learning curve at the beginning.

It's really useful being able to see the tasks my teammates complete and how those connect back to an OKR. I also really enjoyed the weekly reflection feature since it gives a clear view of how the team is progressing toward a shared goal.

A limitation is that you're mostly restricted to your own team so you only see those OKRs and not everyone's reflections across other teams although I'm sure that can probably be adjusted.

Communication is usually a challenge inside any organization especially when it comes to making company goals clear. It helps organize and clarify those goals all the way from leadership down to every employee.

Weekly updates are no longer buried in email which has been a huge improvement. Now everything lives in one tool where updates are saved over time and can be shared across the team without any hassle. It has also helped us reduce meetings since running an async standup two days a week is incredibly simple. The support team has been excellent too, very responsive, quick to answer questions and always helpful.

We ran into a few small issues getting the Slack integration set up at first but it was nothing major and the support team was outstanding throughout.
