Pros

Once our internal Slack setup started hitting the limits of the free plan, it ended up being a much better fit. We get more storage so conversations don't disappear every day, plus more features and stronger control over how everything works. At this point, my team relies on it for almost all communication within our department and across other teams as well. It's been a really useful alternative for staying in touch during remote work or while multitasking, without constantly interrupting co-workers.

Cons

We did run into a few stability and compatibility problems. I regularly had trouble getting chats to load in Firefox, even after clearing the cache or restarting my computer. Since switching over to Chrome though, those issues haven't come up again.
