Pros

Working with Scrible feels pretty user friendly and it's almost fun to use while building things. There's also a really wide selection of icons so it's easy to find something that fits what you need.

Cons

Maybe I just haven't found the right workaround yet but once the map is finished and the embedded version is generated, the zoom setting feels a bit too limited. It often ends up either too far out or too close in which makes it hard to land on the right balance. Still, it's only a very minor inconvenience.

Pros

Using it feels very easy, the performance is excellent and it can handle tasks that would normally make QGIS crash.

One thing that took me a little time to adjust to was the Photoshop-style interface although some users might actually see that as a plus.

Being able to mark and plan buildings directly at site locations and then export the data as KML is really useful.

Layering and grouping tools can feel a bit outdated at times.

Getting started with it was very easy. Drawing lines feels simple and user friendly and being able to import and export just about any file format makes collaboration and sharing really convenient.

Honestly it's difficult to point to anything I like least about it. I've really put it through its paces and it consistently delivers beyond expectations.

Working on military history research and writing meant I needed a flexible tool for building maps that could track the movements and history of WWII military units. It turned out to be a very user friendly platform that was simple to work with and fit that purpose really well.

One thing that could be improved is the search function. When I try to find smaller towns or villages by name, they do not always appear in the results.

Using this software feels very user friendly and it's probably the most accessible tool I've used for designing and drawing on maps. Being able to check maps from both my phone and laptop is also a big plus.

The icons don't look very good and could definitely use an upgrade. The maps also need more detail since I sometimes have to keep Google Maps open in another tab to check key places like train stations that aren't marked.

Being able to pinpoint lessor information on the maps is the part I appreciate most. I can zoom back in later and quickly pull up the details I entered earlier which makes it really useful for future reference.

I still need to explore more of the other features but at this point I'm satisfied with what the software offers.

Like most software, it comes with a few small glitches that still need attention. Some have been improved over the years, while others are just issues we've learned to work around.
