WoodWing Features
Content Creation
WoodWing enables teams to craft channel-neutral stories through collaborative authoring, structured workflows, and visibility. Editors and designers co-create in context, reuse components, and maintain consistency. This speeds production, reduces handoffs, and improves content quality while avoiding duplicated effort across channels.
Digital Asset Management
Digital asset management centralizes files with secure access, version control, and metadata so creative teams can find, reuse, and distribute assets. Governance maintains accuracy while integrations feed downstream channels, cutting rework, minimizing risk, and accelerating production from concept through delivery.
Multichannel Publishing
The software orchestrates distribution across web, print, and social from one hub. Teams tailor variants per channel while preserving core messaging, schedule releases, and track readiness. Central planning shortens lead times, expands reach, and turns complex campaigns into repeatable execution.
AI Governance
AI Governance lets organizations define, publish, and update AI policies with a handbook. Leaders guide usage, reduce compliance risk, and align experimentation with standards. Teams innovate within guardrails that protect privacy, accuracy, attribution, security in content creation, review, and distribution.
Document Management
The platform centralizes content with controlled access, versioning, and governance so employees can locate documents quickly. Automated retention, audit trails, and permissions support compliance while collaborative editing and structured folders reduce fragmentation, improve productivity, and keep information accurate and secure.

“Simplifies Global Campaigns”
Pros
WoodWing Swivle has really transformed our organization. What stood out the most was how easy it was to use. Our team and local contributors adapted quickly, cutting down on learning time and making onboarding smoother. This simplicity saved us a lot of time. One of its biggest benefits was improving our localization processes. Instead of endless emails, Swivle created a central place for all our digital assets making everything more efficient and reducing the usual chaos of managing global campaigns. My favorite feature is the asset approval system. It also played a huge role in helping us manage global campaigns more effectively. With campaigns running across multiple time zones, time management was key. Thanks to its user friendly interface and powerful tools, we could organize, share and collaborate on assets without wasting time. Plus it was much more affordable compared to other solutions which was a big plus for our budget conscious team.
Cons
If you are looking for a platform that can quickly adapt to changing needs, this might not be the best option. Also don't expect detailed reports on asset performance either. While we didn't use the InDesign integration much, it would have been helpful if Adobe tools like Illustrator were supported for quick fixes like typos. However for smaller organizations needing a simple, reliable solution for managing assets and campaigns, it is a simple, plug and play choice that does not require a lot of time for customizations or extra features.
