Cons

My review of AccuLynx

Pros

The tracking is excellent, and finding what I need is simple. I appreciate how quickly I can produce estimates and that there are no glitches. It's convenient to have all-in-one software.

Cons

I haven't had it long enough to get frustrated by any issues. However, if a note is mistakenly placed in the wrong file, it can be confusing.

A good product overall

Pros

I like the ease of entering leads, ordering materials, and tracking the crew's location.

Cons

I don't like that messages can't be removed. Sometimes I need to update notes, and messages are the only place to add them. I also miss the feature from our previous CRM that showed if an email was opened or clicked. And, if I attach multiple people to a task/event/calendar meeting, I have to edit each one individually if something changes instead of being able to update all at once.

Still learning the ropes

Pros

Once I resolve all my issues, it will be much better. The organization is excellent, but the pricing from ABC and Beacon isn't fully complete, and I can't find many items in their catalog.

Cons

It is tricky to use. I wish CompanyCam could be set up to save reports in project folders automatically instead of manually. Using documents for signatures is costly, I'd consider it if it were cheaper. Also, I'm not receiving notifications for customer texts through the texting feature and need assistance with that.

This system is very user-friendly, and even someone with minimal CRM experience can be guided to full use quickly and easily.

Cons

This is not necessarily a complaint but a suggestion for future improvements. While we can order EagleView Reports through AccuLynx, it would be great if there was an automatic integration with the EagleView Drone Assess program to directly pull measurements into a quote based on the lead address.

We love acculynx!

Pros

I like the notes and dashboard. The layout is very simple and functional, making it easy to navigate.

Cons

It would be helpful to have a draft mode that automatically saves notes. Sometimes, if you're typing a note and switch to another profile, your work gets lost. It would be great to have this feature. Also, the inability to edit or delete notes and the lack of customizable layouts for sister-companies can be problematic. I wish there were options to customize layouts and manage profiles better. Unmarking dead leads and transferring profiles would also be useful.

Pros

I value the quote and estimate system along with its integration with QuickBooks. This setup simplifies the process of generating and sending invoices to customers, streamlining our financial operations and making everything more efficient.

Cons

For estimates, it would be better if the system broke down total square footage from largest to smallest materials. For example, with a 55-gal and a 5-gal option, it should automatically calculate 2 55-gal drums for 110 square feet instead of listing 2 55-gal drums and 22 5-gal buckets. The algorithm needs adjustment for better accuracy.

Love the photo features

Pros

Photo reports, albums, PDFs, the AccuLynx camera, and editing features are all great.

Cons

The price seems high at $120 per user instead of $100. As a startup, I wish there were more support for new businesses. Spending a lot upfront without any significant return from a major company like AccuLynx is a bit disappointing.

Excellent CRM for High Volume

Pros

AccuLynx is very intuitive, even for contractors who are more comfortable with a hammer than a computer. We use many automation features, making it easy to keep our customers informed throughout the project and keep our sales team updated.

Cons

It would be nice to have more integrations with other software, offering more choices for where to invest time and money. Additionally, keeping track of all the add-ons and separate features is challenging. I think the production tool should be available on all AccuLynx platforms.

Cons

When my AccuLynx synced with my sales rabbit, it used to create two leads for every homeowner, but I managed to resolve that issue.

Pros

The integration with Eagleview and the material ordering templates has made ordering materials incredibly fast and straightforward. It's cut the time needed in half, if not more. Uploading and accessing documents is quick and simple. The customization and automation save time and ensure nothing falls through the cracks. The texting function helps keep everything organized and accessible.

Cons

I'd like the ability to attach invoices and other PDFs directly to payment screen items. I also wish the add-ons weren't so pricey.

Cons

I'm not happy that there's no way to assign tasks chronologically in the Task Manager. We have to enter numbers and the system organizes them, but I keep having to rearrange the numbers whenever I add a new task. We organize tasks based on location and urgency.

Integrations that ACTUALLY work

Pros

The most significant advantage compared to past competitors is the ease of integration. We previously used JobNimbus, where nearly every promised integration either couldn't be implemented or required a lot of backend work. AccuLynx makes integrating other systems into itself straightforward. It's genuinely versatile, although books still need full reconciliation in QuickBooks, and last-minute order changes need a phone call. But otherwise, it hits the mark. For leaner companies, its open-source approach allows for quick adjustments and maneuvering.

Cons

The only drawbacks are the field app and the cost (relative to some competitors). It's definitely a premium product, and the price reflects that. For our company, that cost is justified by the software's efficiency and its ability to communicate across the organization. The field app needs a complete overhaul; it's glitchy and inconsistent, which is problematic in urgent situations.

I appreciate the feature that allows photos to be directly attached to a customer's file. Creating photo reports to send to customers is very straightforward.

Cons

The photos are editable, which is great. The only problem is the lack of a straight line option, only freehand, which can be messy and unprofessional. Also, the stickers are currently limited and sometimes hard to use due to size changes.
