“Choose wisely with your money
Pros
The machine maintenance and prestart checks went fine, but there were no service reminders, so I had to enter all the hours myself. It gets a bit tiring to do this manually in a workshop program.
Cons
Everything lacked a free trial, so I had to pay the full amount upfront. Timesheets had numerous issues that are too many to list. I received constant complaints from employees daily. The app had so many glitches, and these complaints came from tech-savvy users. I couldn't view site plans or any paperwork from the app on-site. Once the annual fee was paid, the promised support never materialized. I was able to create necessary forms like SMWS but switched to another program where I made all our forms, which can be edited and filled out on-site, all for a third of the price.

“Helpful and responsive
Pros
It has a lot of features and is really flexible. The support team is always quick to respond and super helpful, resolving problems fast and escalating when needed. I really like the Insights feature and how admin users can customize and explore it.
Cons
Sometimes, mobile apps glitch, whether due to mobile reception issues or form completion problems. This seems to be a common issue with apps or technology in general. I would appreciate push notifications for specific aspects of the app, perhaps a user profile on the Dashboard so that notifications like Service updates or Document alerts can be sent directly to phones.

The system has really improved my efficiency, organization and how I optimize processes. It streamlines operations, so every task gets managed effectively and everything stays organized. This makes everything more efficient and simplifies complex workflows, helping me keep things running smoothly and coordinated.
Cons

I find the scheduling feature fantastic and the ongoing support from the team has been excellent. They're always there to help and make sure everything runs smoothly, which really helps me get things done efficiently.
Cons
I've found that some parts don't flow well, and some changes don't seem practical. It would be really helpful if I could manually link loose dockets to an order, like I can with forms. Also, some data can't be changed if there's a mistake, like not being able to update the client or project on an order if it was created by mistake.

“Unbeatable service
Pros
Assignar makes it really easy for me to share job details with fieldworkers and schedule work. It also helps me manage plant and fieldworker compliance quickly and efficiently.
Cons
The initial setup was challenging since we had never used anything like this before. However, once the fieldworkers got accustomed to it, it became much easier.

Pros
It covers everything needed for scheduling, compliance, and reporting on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. It can also be adjusted to meet specific client needs or preferences.
Cons
I find the Gantt chart hard to use. A view like Microsoft Project would make project management much easier.

It is easy to use and it makes job communication between management and staff easy. I receive dockets in real time once completed and my CSM is always quick to help via email and Zoom meetings!
Cons
The app needs a few minor improvements for fieldworkers, but it really needs major changes for administrators. Scheduling work and using Assignar's resources from the app is almost impossible.

Pros
It was a major improvement from using a whiteboard. The ease of communication with the whole team made a big difference. My phone stopped ringing as employees could clearly see their allocations and teams.
Cons
Transitioning from the old system to the new one was challenging. It was hard to get a clear overview from Assignar as a planner. I was used to a 1-day-per-page spreadsheet, which made shuffling staff between sites simpler. I still use this method and then transfer allocations into Assignar.

“False promises, no results
Pros
There's nothing positive to report. I've never been able to implement it, and the promises made during the sales process were never fulfilled.
Cons
It didn't do what was promised. The SMS functionality didn't work in NZ, which was a crucial part of our decision. What seemed easy during sales became very difficult, or even impossible, once payment was made.
