“Best CRM for Small to Medium General Contractors
Pros
The CRM is quite intuitive and customizable. There are instructional videos to guide you through it. The Account Manager offers training to owners and key staff, and they respond swiftly to any questions. Our subcontractors also appreciate using Builder Prime to submit bids.
Cons
There are a few features that could use some improvement. But, the Builder Prime team is attentive to feedback and will incorporate suggestions into future updates.

Pros
Builder Prime is accessible and lets all employees review information as needed. The support team is always ready to help with troubleshooting if needed.
Cons
The billing tab didn't let me use a credit later, so I had to create another invoice and explain it to the customers. This is a minor issue.

Pros
My husband has run a painting company for 30 years with fewer than 6 employees. Since starting his business in the 80s, he used a yellow pad to manage things. When I joined him last year, I aimed to bring him into the modern era. Builder Prime gave us the tools to do that. Now, we are organized and professional thanks to Builder Prime. The program guides us through each step and keeps track of everything. It's very straightforward, and the customer service is exceptional.
Cons
I haven't encountered any drawbacks so far. Whenever I've been confused about how the program works, Support team has been quick to answer my questions.

Pros
I really like the layout and design. It's easy to grasp. I also appreciate how many modules are interconnected, such as the jobs and production calendar, along with team assignments.
Cons

Pros
I really like and use the automations for tracking purposes. Scheduling is easy and simple, and the program has a lot of potential that we keep discovering every day.
Cons
I'd prefer to see discounts as a single line item instead of a percentage of the overall invoice. It confuses clients and makes us spend extra time explaining. Also, I'd like to add attachments to any email sent, not just specific ones. I might be able to do this but haven't figured it out yet. Additionally, being able to forward emails already sent by other team members would be very useful.

“Builder prime is an absolute GAME CHANGER
Pros
I appreciate Builder Prime because it lets me include the customer in any in-home quote. I can build a price and project on the spot with the customer.
Cons
I wish there was an app that didn't require constant logins. I don't mind logging in each time, but it would be helpful to do it less frequently.

Pros
Everything is integrated into one place, contracts, payments, pipelines, to-dos. Except for an external CompanyCam integration, it has most of what we need all in one spot.
Cons
I need more flexibility in reporting. I often have to download and run external reports for dashboards since the system logs out every 30 minutes. The mobile app also uses a lot of data.

Pros
My top favorite feature is the customer support. There are so many features, and the team is amazing whenever I have a question, big or small. Additionally, the ease of use for most things is fantastic.
Cons
My biggest issue is the inability to send an automated email or text a certain time before a scheduled appointment, only after. For instance, I want to send a message the Friday before a job to inform clients about what to expect and confirm the job details. I can't do that right now and would love to automate it.

It's very simple to learn and implement. Customizing everything and adding on the go was effortless.
Cons
We attempted to use the clock-in and clock-out feature for our hourly subcontractors and employees but ended up removing it. We're back to using the traditional method.
