Now, I can give my customers great-looking estimates in no time, and everything’s synced up with my scheduling and invoicing. I’ve been using CostCertified for a while now, and it has completely transformed how I manage my construction business. On top of that, creating estimates is incredibly fast and straightforward, saving me a ton of time. I also love how the scheduling automatically syncs with each estimate, making it effortless to keep projects organized. And when it comes to billing, CostCertified lets me easily generate invoices and collect payments, which has streamlined my entire workflow. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with how much more efficient and professional my business looks since switching to CostCertified!

Since implementing CostCertified over a year ago, we’ve seen more than a 30% increase in business.
Cons
This is not a magic pill. I see from other reviews, some people expect CostCertified to work perfectly right out of the box. The software is highly customizable and requires a bit of time set it up. Once set up it saves a tone of time and helps speed up estimating and allows us to manage the project with little input once the project moves fwd.

The presentations have allowed us to win jobs of 50k+ with ease, and we can estimate jobs right on the spot. Customers can also upsell themselves which is a great feature and helped us to increase our job size.
Cons
Takes a while to set up, I recommend going on a higher plan to get them to help you set the software up.

This softwere is terrible and now I understand that you have to do a contract of one year without free trial because people would not subscribe like when the product worth away more then yours, but cost less the $100. I’m really disappointed and paying for this very expensive $400 monthly. It is so unpractical, too many steps to do very sample basic things, very inaccurate prices prices, impossible to write description how need and make you loose costumers because it is complicated for them too.

Pros
Once I got the hang of using this software, putting together a detailed home quote turned into a fast and easy process. Plus setting up my database made all the difference because now I can quickly pull items from previous quotes and reuse them.
Cons
Figuring out how to navigate the software was a bit tricky at first and I had to make some big adjustments to the labor pricing to match our local market.

What I liked most was the whole concept of what they offer. During the sales process, they showed us this amazing estimate just like the one we did send out to our own customers and it was honestly impressive. I loved how customers could interact with the estimate, making upgrades or downgrades to fit the project to their preferences, needs and budget. It really adds a nice touch!
Cons
Setting up the system was quite complex. We had to spend around 6 weeks working closely with the team to customize templates, calculators and backend processes. However, the meetings with the development team didn't go as planned. We ended up attending 7 to 8 meetings, but it seemed like they misunderstood our intentions and thought we were only there to ask questions rather than seeking their assistance in building everything out. Additionally, the software lacks project management capabilities, so we had to purchase another program to handle that aspect of our business. Considering the price we paid, it felt quite expensive for the features provided. The initial purchase only included one user, and we had to pay extra for additional users, which made it difficult for the three of us to utilize the software effectively for estimating, reporting, and task assignment. Unfortunately, there was no trial period offered, which they explained as the software being too customizable to provide one. While I understand that reasoning, it would have been reassuring to have some sort of guarantee or refund option, even with certain conditions, to instill confidence in our $4000 investment.

After purchasing the product for $1700 for six months, I encountered difficulties in obtaining assistance. The person who was supposed to help me create my profile and set everything up went on vacation and never returned. Unfortunately, there is no refund policy, so they do not reimburse your money.

I cannot stress enough the value of CostCertified software. I can generate painting quotes within minutes. One major advantage is the ease of accessing product items or entire house assemblies with a simple click. Pricing can be saved per item, as all the information can be preloaded. Any new items added are automatically saved to my company's database, which can be accessed on my phone or iPad since it's cloud-based. The system also includes built-in CRM, enabling me to see when customers last viewed their quote, allowing for timely follow-ups. Additionally, scheduling features will be available by the end of October. CostCertified provides comprehensive onboarding support to help set up company files if needed. Moreover, you can personalize pictures for your customers to enhance their association with your quotes.
Cons
So far, I have been using the product for 5 years, and the company has made numerous improvements during that time. I have no complaints at the moment.

There's not much I like about this software. The software feels a bit clumsy. Whenever I try to highlight something, it unexpectedly exits from there causing me to lose all the recent changes. Editing items can be quite tedious.
Cons
If you're considering purchasing this program, I would highly recommend opting for a long trial period or choosing the monthly payment option. The company doesn't provide refunds for unused time or offer any flexibility if the software doesn't meet your needs.
