Cons
I opted for Exaktime after Sage100 Contractor's timekeeping app failed on Android. Despite not receiving any services or communication for implementation from Exaktime, they refused even a partial refund when I requested one. While I understand the contract, charging $2k without providing any services when the client no longer needs them seems unfair. I believe in ethical business practices. If they had refunded me, I would have reconsidered using them in the future. However, their lack of response and service has led me to never consider them again, even though their product might be good.

Exaktime has significantly helped in invoicing, streamlining paperwork flow and saving time that would typically be spent on record-keeping. After using ExakTime for approximately 9 years, we have no intention of going back to paper timecards. While other companies offer alternatives, nothing compares to the simplicity and usability of ExakTime.
Cons
Occasionally, entering new addresses for GEO location in ExakTime can be challenging, but this is likely a common issue. Despite this, I have found that no other platform surpasses ExakTime.

I like that employees can clock in/out using their phones, select the location and cost code, and that the app captures a photo of the employee along with Geolocation and distance information.
Cons
I started using this program four years ago, and it was ok. I oversee time management for a company with 150 employees. However, the system has become increasingly glitchy over time. The transition to Arcoro, the new parent company, has been problematic. Our experience with their AccountLinx service has been particularly poor, it recently stopped working on some computers. ExakTime experiences lag, especially during peak times when everyone is clocking in simultaneously, suggesting insufficient server bandwidth for increased traffic. I have recommended that our company seek a new service provider.

The company lacks a support phone number, necessitating ticket submissions. While responses do come, it can take a day or more. Cons
Our primary complaint is the inability to respond to field notes or communicate with the field via the app. It would be beneficial to have job-specific and crew-specific comments. Sometimes, additional information is needed for field notes, and the ability to ask questions and log responses would be valuable.

Managers can approve time cards, add notes or correct time punches with ease. The integration with Sage 100 Contractor is a plus, as notes transfer into the Payroll Record, simplifying labor billing. The program facilitates job costing by allowing the setup of custom questions for each clock-in or out. Additionally, the Geo-Fence feature ensures employees are at the correct job site when clocking in, preventing remote clock-ins. Cost code limitations on each job ensure labor is allocated only to relevant budgeted codes.
Cons
I wish more robust reporting capabilities. Currently, one report can only display two out of three essential details. Having a report that lists each employee by job and cost code would be immensely helpful. The program experiences glitches occasionally. Managers report instances where changes to time punches do not save or where the program freezes when attempting to save edits, necessitating a log out, log in, and restart.

It works really nicely with a wide variety of projects, job sites, and cost codes. Both the employee side and the admin side of this software function in a seamless manner. It doesnt require much instruction for staff to operate it independently.
Cons
Even though I enjoy the flexibility of taking field notes, there are occasionally mistakes or a delay in taking notes. Additionally, once a field note has been erased from the area of all notes, you cannot go back and retrieve it if the employee did not "log in" appropriately.
