Pros

It is very user-friendly for our field workers and we particularly enjoy using the Geofence feature to ensure employees are clocking in at the correct locations.

Cons

I can't add Weekly Salary for specific employees and overtime is not integrated into Estimated Payroll Cost.

Bad Business Practices

I am not happy with it.

Cons

I opted for Exaktime after Sage100 Contractor's timekeeping app failed on Android. Despite not receiving any services or communication for implementation from Exaktime, they refused even a partial refund when I requested one. While I understand the contract, charging $2k without providing any services when the client no longer needs them seems unfair. I believe in ethical business practices. If they had refunded me, I would have reconsidered using them in the future. However, their lack of response and service has led me to never consider them again, even though their product might be good.

Pros

I like the variety of reports available and how easy it is for everyone to clock in and out of jobs. Also the option to set a location-based clock-in within your job has been a game-changer for our company.

Cons

My primary suggestion is to have a "print all" button for printing time cards.

Great product for off-site job clock in

Pros

Good experience with ExakTime helped our company grow

Pros

The ability to track when individuals are on jobsites in real time, along with comprehensive hour tracking for billing purposes is invaluable. The app is easy to use and set up as it provides precise location information.

Cons

I can't find much to fault with ExakTime, but if I had to pick something, it would be occasional app glitches on certain phones. Restarting usually resolves these issues.

If time is money, why are you wasting it?

Pros

Exaktime has significantly helped in invoicing, streamlining paperwork flow and saving time that would typically be spent on record-keeping. After using ExakTime for approximately 9 years, we have no intention of going back to paper timecards. While other companies offer alternatives, nothing compares to the simplicity and usability of ExakTime.

Cons

Occasionally, entering new addresses for GEO location in ExakTime can be challenging, but this is likely a common issue. Despite this, I have found that no other platform surpasses ExakTime.

Exaktime makes it easy

Pros

Our small construction business relies on Exaktime for logging employee time, facilitating billing and ensuring our team is present on the job as scheduled. Real-time team location tracking, alerts for time assignments outside the geo-fence and seamless QuickBooks payroll integration all contribute to saving us time on data entry. The customer support is exceptional.

Cons

We haven't encountered any major issues with ExakTime. I cannot think of anything negative at the moment.

Used to work well - now it's a laggy, buggy system

Pros

I like that employees can clock in/out using their phones, select the location and cost code, and that the app captures a photo of the employee along with Geolocation and distance information.

Cons

I started using this program four years ago, and it was ok. I oversee time management for a company with 150 employees. However, the system has become increasingly glitchy over time. The transition to Arcoro, the new parent company, has been problematic. Our experience with their AccountLinx service has been particularly poor, it recently stopped working on some computers. ExakTime experiences lag, especially during peak times when everyone is clocking in simultaneously, suggesting insufficient server bandwidth for increased traffic. I have recommended that our company seek a new service provider.

Better then paper and pen

Pros

Tracking employees time by the hour and working in crews has been beneficial. The ability to print time cards for payroll and track locations is particularly useful for our office.

Cons

Apple and Android systems don't sync seamlessly, causing delays in sending payroll data. Some employees information doesn't update for days which impacts the payroll process.

Best way to manage labor costs fairly

Exaktime is user-friendly, leveraging your employees smartphones without requiring additional equipment. It is accurate and equitable for monitoring labor costs.

Cons

In extreme weather and within concrete structures, the internet connection suffers due to which problems occur. However this is not the problem that is caused by the software.

Definitely helped our growing company; used it for three years. Outgrew it

Pros

The photo verification and geofence accuracy, along with having employee details readily available in the system, make it easy to approve worked hours.

Cons

The company lacks a support phone number, necessitating ticket submissions. While responses do come, it can take a day or more. Certain issues are best resolved through discussion, but connecting with a support person is very difficult. Obtaining new features like a PTO module and scheduling capabilities would have significantly increased costs, which were already high and increased annually.
