“Tracking DLP/Manual
Pros
I can easily import and export information into the manual.
Cons
If the manual's structure is not set up correctly from the beginning, there's no option to select "other" and provide additional information.

“OMTRAK - Used for completion documents at Grafton Hall
Pros
Everything is managed electronically - with proper setup, automatic notifications are sent to subcontractors. 2) It's excellent for handling defects - I can print QR codes for each room to efficiently monitor defects.
Cons
It would be better with more colors. Most people prefer different colors as it makes things visually easier to see; currently, it's just blue and white. 2) There should be a feature where the main contractor can upload PDF files for a subcontractor without changing settings frequently, while still showing who uploaded the PDF, this is important because subcontractors often don't keep up with technology.

“Use of Omtrak for Defects and O&M's
Pros
The ease of use and quick customer service (we're constantly responding to subcontractors' needs, and OmTrak handles this well). I appreciate the flexibility in exporting data and the simplicity of receiving information.
Cons
I can only apply defects to one subcontractor at a time. Sometimes, issues require two or three subcontractors to complete a job. There should be defect workflows, and exporting PDFs can be slow when Omtrak says "you will receive a link."

“Defect management
Pros
OmTrak offers a clear method for managing defects - I can break down defects from different project areas to specific rooms. This makes it easy to allocate and close out defects.
Cons
The mobile app is more convenient to use compared to the computer program.

“Excellent Construction Document Review Tool
Pros
The OmTrak document review package is fantastic for builders and clients to review manuals, etc., by their design team. It's easy to handle the review process from submission to approval.
Cons
The only issue is the constant weekly/monthly status reviews sent after a project is completed.

“Omtrak review
Pros
The structured and informative layout provides a framework for our supply and trade partners to upload drawings, data sheets, maintenance requirements, and asset data. The review and reporting process is straightforward, giving clients visibility throughout. Once approved, data can be presented in a soft copy O+M or transferred to the FM platform or other FM data systems.
Cons
After using the Omtrak platform for several projects, returning to projects with 'paper hard copy manuals' makes me question why I didn't use the product earlier.

“User Review
Pros
I preferred the old asset base used at LCCH. It was much easier to locate and edit assets.
Cons
Since I've used this since the Airport Link Tunnel in Brisbane, it was quite easy for me. I noticed that Lend Lease used all my section formatting as a basis for other subcontractors at LCCH for training and assisting them in completing sections successfully.

“A Good Solution for Project Management
Pros
I found it easy to track updates and new documents uploaded by various contractors. At the end of the project, it was helpful when all uploaded documents were collated and given to the building owner and Council as part of the CCC process.
Cons
I didn't face any significant issues with the software.

“OmTrak Review
Pros
The software effectively distinguishes between action emails and approval emails, organizing them separately. This feature ensures that each type of communication is handled appropriately and keeps my inbox well-structured, making it easier to manage and track different aspects of the project.
Cons
There are too many sub-sections requiring approval, even though the contractor submits the same documentation across all sub-sections.

Pros
The project content is adequate and accessibility is good. The ability for building owners to store and access building and maintenance issues is very valuable.
Cons
The BMS section could be included in Mechanical Services due to repetitive sections that become tiresome.
