“Powerful but overly complex setup
Pros
I am really impressed by how powerful and adaptable Agiloft is. Its contract management features went well beyond what I expected and I have been pleasantly surprised by the depth of functionality. I also like how smoothly it connects with other tools and systems and the DocuSign integration is outstanding!
Cons
Because the platform is so highly configurable I found it tempting to over-customize and try to hook up too many systems right away which created its own complications. The Professional Services experience felt a bit directionless and lacked a clear, step by step project plan to follow. I was assigned a very knowledgeable CSM and while they knew the product inside out they struggled to keep our rollout focused and seemed too ready to recommend additional paid services. That approach stretched the timeline and made the implementation more complicated than necessary. I had hoped for concrete recommendations on organizing a document repository but instead received a very open-ended do it however you want response. In the end I stopped relying on the CSM and completed the work myself because I didn't feel I was getting real Professional Services value.

“Highly customizable with strong security
Pros
Agiloft stands out because it can be deeply customized to fit each team's specific workflows and needs avoiding a rigid, one-size-fits-all approach. It offers a broad and powerful suite of contract management tools that cover the entire lifecycle, automates key processes to significantly boost efficiency and maintains a strong, built-in emphasis on security and compliance which gives us confidence in handling sensitive information. Its a platform that balances flexibility with control.
Cons
Personally I haven't found any aspects of this platform that I would consider problematic.

“Pretty amazing
Pros
Their support team is highly responsive and always willing to jump on calls to walk through any issues or questions I have.
Cons
I am still fairly new to using this like 8 months in so there's been a learning curve figuring out all the different workflows we have set up for various user levels.

“Great tool
Pros
The no-code functionality is quite impressive as it makes customizing things pretty simple and user-friendly. Plus creating and managing different setups feels easy with it too.
Cons
Getting used to the admin side took a bit of time at first even though the no-code features are pretty simple. But once we get the hang of it though, it is not too difficult to learn.

“Simple and Effective Solution
Pros
Well to me the best thing was how it handles generating and organizing the hundreds of contracts we deal with every year. And combined with approval workflows, timed email notifications and e-signatures, this tool has very much improved how we manage our entire portfolio.
Cons
The only downside is that our unique procurement and legal requirements meant we needed customizations that our team could not handle in-house. Fortunately we have an excellent solutions architect who helped us meet all our deployment objectives.

“Almost perfect!!!
Pros
I have been working with this system for a while now and the customization options are really exceptional. We were able to configure everything to match our specific workflow perfectly. The automated features have been proven the best for us as contract notifications and approval processes run themselves now which means I am not constantly following up on deadlines or waiting for approvals.
Cons
Well the setup process can be pretty overwhelming initially as there is so many different options that getting everything configured just right takes some patience. Especially if your new to this type of system. The interface also feels a bit dated and could use a refresh though it gets the job done functionally.

“Excellent contract handling solution
Pros
We implemented this system about 5 years ago and it completely transformed our contract handling from initial request through execution to billing. We used to manage everything through email which was pretty cumbersome but after discovering the custom features and capabilities available, we dove into implementation and have not regretted it since. Beyond standardizing and centralizing our contract management process the standout feature is the integration with our billing system. As once a contract gets executed it automatically creates billing and sends it over rather than risking missed or manual entries.
Cons
While this tool is very powerful I wish it was more simple so we could roll out new features quicker in our workflows instead of having to wait for consultants.

“Streamlines processes beyond our expectations
Pros
I really like that the system lets me pick different terms and conditions and then it automatically figures out which clauses should go into the contract based on what I've selected. Plus it builds these complicated agreements that would normally take me hours to put together manually.
Cons
The most frustrating thing for me is how every agreement and amendment exists as separate records. Sure you can link them as related but there is no single view that consolidates all the current terms. If someone's salary changed in amendment one, PTO in amendment two and schedule in amendment three. Like I cannot just pull up one record to see everything that's currently active. Instead I am stuck opening each individual record to piece together what actually changed.

“Reliable Partner for Daily Tasks
Pros
Getting new people up to speed takes just 10 to 15 minutes which is very quick. Also I can modify our setup without needing outside help and when I do contact support, they are responsive and reasonably priced. This has become my go-to system as I am on it more than any other platform we use. We had everything operational in just 3 months, largely thanks to our implementer's great understanding of contract management basics.
Cons
Not the platform fault as I do not have enough time in my schedule to really dive into all the system updates.

“offers more features than expected
Pros
I discovered Agiloft has far more features than I ever expected from a CLM. What stands out for me is how colleagues from other departments can fill out a simple form and the system automatically builds a full contract populated with all the applicable clauses based on their choices. That functionality saves our legal team hours on each agreement.
Cons
One issue I have is that every contract and its amendments are stored as separate records so I can't just type a party name and immediately see a consolidated view of all active terms. Instead I need to open each amendment record one by one to track what was altered. I'd much prefer a primary record that reflects each amendment and presents the current terms in one place.

“So far so good
Pros
The migration process was quite smooth thanks to the excellent support we received. Agiloft University has been invaluable for learning the system's capabilities and developing my skills as a Level 2 Admin. When users submit change requests finding solutions is simple too because a quick web search usually brings up relevant Plus it resources right at the top. What really impresses me is how few help tickets we've gotten since going live which speaks volumes about the platforms reliability.
Cons
I have not found any issues yet though we have only been using it for about 6 months so far.

“amazing for handling contracts
Pros
This program is amazing for handling contracts. Plus it offers both a free trial and a free version. I've seen medium and large companies use it to automate contracts and agreements so I can easily pull up enterprise agreements whenever needed. Overall it's wonderful.
Cons
At first it required me to undergo some training before I could use it properly. Once I am past that initial learning curve the user interface still feels like it could use a few improvements and I have noticed occasional errors when merging several operations together.

“Award-winning and easy to use
Pros
I've used many tools and this award-winning software truly stands out as the best. Every feature of it was easy to use and overall it gave me my best experience.
Cons
Sometimes I ran into a minor error while creating a file but the administrator fixed it right away. I mean their customer support was absolutely perfect.

“Excellent CLM with a confusing UI
Pros
Agiloft is an excellent Contract Lifecycle Management solution. As I can easily update and tailor contract and DPA templates to our needs. Plus it connects with ServiceNow and Oracle which has helped me create a more unified Source-to-Pay workflow. There is also support to build a Security module for vetting vendors and the ability to generate and assign tasks is a useful extra.
Cons
The user interface needs improvements. Many basic tasks feel more complicated than they should which increases trouble. Setting up a Procurement workflow becomes messy because the tool isn't good enough to smoothly connect multiple functions like Sourcing, Legal, Privacy and Security into a single process.

“amazing and customized solution
Pros
After testing a lot of software I found Agiloft to be the most amazing contract management solution. It allows us to be able to white-label it for clients, either in-house or through a portal we control. And as an administrator I have a lot of power and flexibility with customizable process flows and table setups. For non-admin users the interface can be simplified to just one, two or three key tasks on their homepage making adoption easy. I also appreciated automating daily tasks. For example routing agreements or purchase orders for automatic approval when they meet set criteria. The template system and mobile click-to-approve feature were especially popular, removing approval bottlenecks and notification delays we used to face. Customer support is thorough and there are plenty of training videos. Overall it feels tailored to our needs without an exorbitant price tag.
Cons
One downside is that it lacks a true drag and drop builder in some areas unlike many competitors. A few UI screens are cluttered though that did not bother me much. From experience, you really need a dedicated stakeholder who commits to the product. I mean someone comfortable with how tables interact when new fields are added and who understands the permissions model. Without that internal champion getting the most from the system can be tougher.

“Meets every specification on the list
Pros
Since this was my company's initial venture into ITSM getting it right mattered. It meets every item from our specification list. The admin interface is much nicer by far than anything I've used before indeed
Cons
The installation felt fairly complex at first although the vendor helped greatly by including 40 hours of setup support in the contract to get us up and running quickly

“Highly automated for large volumes
Pros
One of the best things about Agiloft that I have noticed is how automated it is. As agreements and purchase requests get automatically routed through the approval workflow. On top of that I can customize the system so that once a contract is approved it automatically uploads to DocuSign and proceeds for signatures. Because of these capabilities the legal team at my organization is able to manage a large volume of contracts with only a small staff.
Cons
I find that any issues with the platform can be resolved fairly easily because the system is highly customizable which makes troubleshooting and adjustments straightforward for our team.

“saves time with little training curve
Pros
Agiloft is like my co-worker as it saves me a lot of time when someone asks for details about an agreement or colleague. It also cuts hours off drafting and closing contracts with its Clause Library and built-in workflows. The little training curve is another big win as new users often think it will be overwhelming but within about fifteen minutes they are comfortable and ready to use this tool to full range of features and start contributing.
Cons
When I am creating new fields or changing user permissions, I find it tricky to understand how the tables relate to each other.

“incredibly powerful workflow engine
Pros
In my experience the software workflow engine is incredibly powerful. It offers an excellent API for customization. It also scales very effectively. We're using it to handle AP invoice payment approvals for hundreds of users and so far it's been a very reliable solution.
Cons
Because it's so flexible it ends up being complicated and I have definitely noticed that it requires some time to train both users and developers.

“Useful for audit trails and mapping
Pros
It is especially useful for handling audit trails and working with barcoding and RFID and I really appreciate how it supports business process mapping, allowing me to build and model processes entirely from scratch.
Cons
This software lacks many essential customer service features making it impractical for call centers. Also there is no competent virtual assistant, workflow tools are limited and it doesn't offer email management, leaving gaps for support teams.
