All in one platform

Pros

I rely on this daily for our finance, accounting and service departments. Everything stays current while maintaining consistency across all areas. It is really user friendly and the CRM integration works well. System downtime is rare which keeps our operations running smoothly.

Cons

The outage this year was frustrating though they handled it as professionally as they could. We bounced back pretty quickly. We would love to see it integrate with other CRMs.

Needs more features

Pros

I really appreciate how well this handles parts and service operations plus it can integrate with a huge number of systems without any issues.

Cons

The accounting is difficult and even simple tasks require way too many steps to complete.

CDK is Amazing

Pros

The customer service team here is really well trained and always goes above and beyond to help.

Cons

I've had to wait quite a while for help on a few occasions which can be frustrating when you need quick support.

Pros

The integration between departments really works well. I appreciate how the executive desktop gives me a quick overview of my stores. Drill down features across applications have been helpful. Being able to export to Excel effortlessly saves me time. DSDA is also impressive.

Cons

The reporting system has some flaws. As basic a function it is, I cant pull yesterday's departmental sales figures in a single report. F&I cant handle multiple product sales properly and everything gets thrown into the WEO screen where it creates a mess. Theres also no way to sell accessories on the sales floor as part of the deal which is just unacceptable for our workflow. They need to work on these issues.

Pros

The interface is pretty simple to use and having that help chat feature right there when you need it is really handy.

Cons

The setup process for new users takes way too long.

Good Software with Speed Issues

Pros

I found it to be user friendly. I am impressed with the performance. It runs quickly and delivers exactly what it promises most of the time.

Cons

Sometimes it is slow and has trouble loading pages when Ive had it running for a while.

Great for Managing Big Data

Pros

Once you get the hang of things everything becomes quick and easy. It handles massive amounts of data without breaking a sweat which is exactly what we need for our operations.

Cons

Complicated at first. You really need to figure out where all the data gets stored and it takes some time to get used to.
