Excellent support with some gaps

Pros

We switched from spreadsheets to this CRM and it's been a massive improvement for our construction business. Unanet was practically the only option that understood how we operate differently from other industries. The customization options are extensive and we're using them to customize everything to our specific workflow. The dashboards give us great visibility into trends and figures while the automation features keep our processes running smoothly and efficiently.

Cons

Despite being customizable, there are still plenty of things that don't function as promised. The proposal creation feature through Publisher has too many limitations that actually make it more cumbersome than just sticking with our original template documents. We've basically shelved that functionality until they improve it. We've also run into several bugs when updating opportunity information and the data doesn't sync properly. Even after going back and forth with support to identify these issues they still haven't been resolved.

Learning curve but worth it

Pros

The way everything stays organized in one place like projects, statuses, companies and contacts, makes my work so much smoother. Laura and Jackie were incredible during onboarding, walking us through integration and making the whole experience convenient. I'm in and out of the system daily and accessing what I need is always straightforward.

Cons

Interface really isn't appealing to look at. It reminds me of Salesforce in that regard. It desperately needs a better design to keep users engaged. The learning curve was brutal too. It took me at least 4 months to really get comfortable with it which seems excessive. Some features aren't user-friendly at all and I find myself clicking 3-4 times for things that should take just one click. The export functionality leaves a lot to be desired and the fact that opportunities only display 100 at a time is frustrating. There are just too many issues to overlook.

Solid CRM for architecture firms

Pros

What really stands out is how perfectly this fits AEC companies. Our construction procurement is totally different from other industries and this system actually gets that, it follows our exact workflow. The customization options are incredible letting us shape our entire customer lifecycle process exactly how we need it.

Cons

The main issue I've run into is that there's so much data available that finding the right fields for reports can be overwhelming, you end up sorting through tons of options just to build something simple.

Essential tool for AEC marketing teams

Pros

I love how it tracks every detail about my projects. It's become my single source of truth for team members, budgets, descriptions, photos, awards, you name it. The customization options are fantastic too, letting me customize fields to what actually matters for our firm. The Publisher feature has been a game-changer. What used to take over an hour for resume creation now takes less than 10 minutes and everything stays consistent. The grid feature was really helpful when I needed quick opportunity updates. What I appreciate most is the search functionality, finding projects with specific attributes is so easy whether through custom fields or searching project descriptions (and having multiple descriptions is a nice touch).

Cons

While the Publisher module works well I'd love to see some updates, like filtering out projects where team members only worked a few hours or easily reordering project lists. The templates can be tricky too, sometimes you need to know special tricks to get features working right. Saving over reports is also frustrating since you can't just update them directly, you have to create new ones and delete the old versions which takes time. They do listen to suggestions but implementation takes foreve, even for obvious improvements everyone wants. Integration with our budgeting software Deltek Ajera is pretty much non-existent.

Comprehensive data with easy access

Pros

What I appreciate most is being able to review all the collected company information in one place. The user-friendly interface really stands out compared to other options I've tried. Since I work with this daily, having everything accessible at my fingertips makes a huge difference. Plus storing contacts and viewing internal team information is incredibly convenient.

Cons

The site goes down sometimes and it's really frustrating especially right before our weekly meetings. Wish they'd schedule maintenance during off-hours when most businesses are closed instead of during prime time.

Outstanding performance and great value

Pros

I've been using this CRM mainly for keeping detailed records of our company's past projects, and it's completely transformed how we organize and access important project information. The software does way more than just store data, it comes packed with business development tools that I'm still finding and putting to use. This wide range of features makes it a fantastic choice for companies wanting to upgrade their CRM game without spending a fortune. When you compare it to other options out there this platform really promotes your business with its solid features and reasonable pricing.

Cons

Dashboard interface could really use a refresh to make it look more modern and feel more user-friendly. My main frustration is with the help platform, you have to log in just to check if there's been a response to your question. It would be much better if someone could actually call and walk you through problems instead.

Strong CRM with room for growth

Pros

I'm really impressed that they've put more resources into their support team and actually listened to what users have been asking for over the years. The UI improvements and new mobile app for Business Development folks are solid investments that make a real difference. What I particularly appreciate is how it captures historical project data, something you don't always get with competitors like Salesforce. This feature has been incredibly valuable across our entire organization, from our front desk staff all the way up to the executive team since everyone frequently needs access to this type of information.

Cons

The downside is that improvements take quite a while to roll out. That said they've got plenty of updates planned for this year to upgrade the CRM functionality.
