Great for a solo

Pros

I used this for a long time when the accompanying Billings program was supported. It is great for an individual who wants to track contacts and schedule appointments.

Cons

There's no easy way to track time or bill clients without additional integrations. Support is slow due to the company's European base. The billing program doesn't allow for multiple access tiers, which means even junior employees could access sensitive firm reports.

Game changer for small business

Pros

When our team started using Daylite in 2015, having a Mac-based program was essential. I love that our Mac products can work in real-time and sync with apps like Calendar, Email, Contacts, Reminders, and more on our Apple devices. A cloud-based CRM is crucial because we can't risk server issues affecting our database access. I find the Smart-list feature to be the most valuable for our business success. Another key feature I appreciate is the ability to link projects, appointments, contacts, emails, etc., so we have all the necessary information to serve our clients effectively and efficiently.

Cons

I wish we could integrate more programs, like linking Daylite with our MLS program to connect MLS listing tickets directly with our projects and contacts. It would also be great to link "showing time" directly with Daylite.

Tons of functions, could be improved

Pros

My company uses Daylite for various purposes, including our daily calendar, CRM, and contact guide. For these uses, it's a fantastic program that helps us organize our calendar well.

Cons

This software has been challenging to download and operate on certain Macs. It often stops working and is not very user-friendly on iPhones.

Daylite in the dayime

Pros

It features all the functions I'm ever likely to need and packages them in a reasonably intuitive format.

Cons

Every software product inherently offers opportunities for enhancement. Streamlining certain functions and incorporating additional features are perennial areas of consideration for ongoing improvement.

Daylite Review

I use it to keep track of customers' next steps and integrate it with other Mac applications.

Cons

Integrating took a while, I found myself reaching out to support frequently initially. The tutorials didn't flow smoothly.

A great tool for team collaboration

Pros

The team dashboard allows me to quickly assign tasks and create work lists to track who is doing what. It's also great that it syncs with my AppleMail, so everyone can see what's being communicated to the client or prospect.

Cons

I think there's a bit of a learning curve, mainly due to its numerous features; it could be more intuitive. I also wish it wasn't limited to Mac iOS.

The Best Rock-Solid Business Management Software (on any platform)

Pros

As my firm grew beyond just me, I needed a solution that allowed me to leverage my team without adding complexity. Daylite became the go-to for creating workflows, managing contacts, running a calendar, and, in short, making it possible to run my business from anywhere.

Cons

Like any good software, there's a learning curve to using it effectively. Even mastering just 10% of its capabilities puts you ahead. With time, you'll enhance your usage and find it indispensable.

I find the integration with other software we utilize, like Apple Mail and Diaries, to be quite beneficial and enhances our overall workflow efficiency.

Daylite is...ok.

Pros

Daylite is fundamentally 'okay'. It's a standard CRM system with no real competitive edge or standout features. It does things adequately, though.

Cons

There are several clunky aspects, and sometimes options seem missing. If you expect mediocrity, you won't be surprised.

Restricted to Mac and difficult to navigate

Pros

I found it handy to have it automatically track emails and phone calls. Unfortunately, other difficulties meant I didn't use it much.

Cons

It's not intuitive and not easy for newcomers. It feels tailored more for existing users rather than new ones. Also, being restricted to Apple products makes it challenging for company-wide use.

A good CRM, but lacks integrations.

Pros

To the extent that I've used it, it's simple. To me, it feels like a glorified phone book with a calendar. The GUI is pretty easy to navigate, and I like the organizational structure it provides for managing the data.

Cons

It feels like a standalone software lacking integrations. While I'm no Daylite expert, the difficulty in tracking time or invoices against customers/projects has always been a pain point.
