“Solid Enterprise Development Tool

Pros

It gives me incredible flexibility with its Java based architecture and modular design. The API support is extensive which makes agile development much smoother for our team and i really ppreciate how scalable it is and we can grow without worrying about outgrowing the system. The multilingual capabilities work perfectly for our global operations and the workflow automation saves us tons of time on repetitive tasks. Building custom enterprise solutions feels natural with this tool. The community is really active, so updates come regularly and performance keeps getting better. The builtin reporting and analytics provide insights that actually help with business decisions. In short for the cost, you really can't beat the customization options and versatility it offers.

Cons

From my experience, the absence of vendor support and sparse documentation creates real headaches when you're trying to troubleshoot issues or implement new features. The setup process is very complex too and customizing it to fit your specific needs takes way more time than expected. All of this translates to higher maintenance expenses and extended deployment timelines which can really slow down how quickly you can get up and running with the system.

I really appreciate how it handles multiple companies and currencies flawlessly. The MRP feature works well for our planning needs and having CRM integrated saves us from juggling different systems. Project management features are solid and the responsive web interface makes it easy to work from anywhere.

Cons

The drill down feature for account reports is missing which is frustrating when I need detailed breakdowns. There's no read only database connection option, making it harder to integrate with other systems securely. The Java Garbage Collection System needs an update since performance tends to slow down during heavy usage. Additionally, the tree maintenance functionality feels outdated and could use some improvements.

“Achieved more that I thought with this tool!

Pros

I've been using this platform for years and it's been great for our business. I think its perfect for medium to large companies like ours with over 500 active users daily and millions of database calls. The system is easy to customize with open source solutions and we can automate any workflow we need, from vendors to employees and customers. We're also using robotic process automation (RPA) for over 100 processes. The tech setup is modern, allowing us to make changes on the go without stopping the system which is essential for 24/7 operations. Since it's open source, we have full access to all features and can modify the code easily. The traceability is solid especially for food and beverage industries and we don't have to worry about licensing costs, so we can focus on improving the system.

Cons

Setting it up properly requires either having a skilled internal team or hiring capable consultants, which can get expensive for my business.

“My go to tool with strong customer support

Pros

I love having a web based ERP that I can access from anywhere especially with the SaaS setup that makes remote work so easy. The dashboard with performance indicators and visual graphs gives me valuable insights quickly. What impressed me the most is having all business modules in one package that handles multiple plants and production facilities without any issues. The software covers everything I need like MOQ cycles, replenishments, MRP, DRP, warehousing and sales networking. Production planning and demand forecasting work perfectly together. The user roles and authorization controls are well designed and I love how the approval process streamlines manufacturing, purchasing and sales orders. The ability to generate complete financial statements with just one click through customized reports is amazing, and the open customization support is a big plus.

Cons

The mobile app support is lacking so much, navigation feels clunky and doesnt work smoothly when I try to use it on my phone. Setting this up was more complicated than I expected with all the configuration, SQL setup and coding requirements just to get the idempire SQL/Oracle server running properly. I also noticed that some forms and menus don't fit right on my desktop browser screen and the window sizing seems off.

“Great business control and digital growth tool

Pros

I like how every business function is clearly organized and set up logically, plus the multi location database access makes things much smoother. The Oracle database compatibility is really reliable and handles massive transactions quickly and its been conveient for our needs. This works great for complex setups with multiple companies, plants and organizations all running together.

Cons

Installing this was a nightmare, you need some programming knowledge just to get the database set up correctly. I've noticed theres confusion in the forums when trying to define new materials which doesn't help. The graphics look outdated and going through the menus feels unnecessarily complicated.

“Good operations tool but ineffective support

Pros

This comes with a complete ERP system that includes nearly every module youd probaly need to grow and manage your business strategically. The dashboard graphics and gauges are fantastic for monitoring key metrics like payables, receivables, profitability and expenses. I appreciate how easy it is to access documentation and while the support forum isn't super active, it's still helpful for customization needs. The web based interface works great whether you're running it on the cloud through a specific domain or setting up a local server that can be accessed over the internet. The user roles, approvals and security features are really effective for controlling business operations and managing specific job assignments.

Cons

The backup module is confusing and doesn't work properly half the time. Their support isn't very active either, so good luck getting help. Plus you're limited to just Oracle or MySQL databases which is restrictive.
