We love Method! Wish we found it sooner

Pros

We absolutely love it! It works exactly as advertised and even more. We use it for production task scheduling and tracking, customer communications and information, which allows our employees to access order history, time tracking and more. Its customizable features let it function and look the way that suits our needs best.

Cons

If you are using QuickBooks Desktop payments, Method's payment gateway doesn't support it on their platform. We are currently sending invoices from QuickBooks Desktop to allow customers to pay via the link if they choose. After the invoice is paid, we send the Paid Invoice via Method so the customer can access their portal. We could use one of their accepted payment methods like Stripe but these don't sync with QuickBooks Desktop for merchant fees and to avoid extra data entry, we have been hesitant to make the switch.

How Method works for Account Managers

Pros

My overall experience is positive. I use it as one of the primary tools in my workday and have not encountered any major issues that I'd consider flaws in the software. The overall speed of daily tasks and account management tools are great.

Cons

UI feels a bit outdated. While this might be for speed and ease of use, some graphic updates would definitely be nice.

This is a game changer for our team

Pros

It pulls all the necessary info from QuickBooks and gives our customers an easy way to submit, approve and pay for repairs, its really helpful in so many ways.

Cons

Most of the issues were on our end, our system had a few problems syncing with Method. However Method was quick to help troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

Why Method is essential for efficient work

Pros

A great CRM for small businesses like ours

Pros

Technical processes were quick and efficient. Our customer representative was great to work with. He was patient, informative and helped us get our fixes quickly. Method CRM is super easy to use and work with.

Cons

More training on how to fully utilize Method CRM would be helpful.

Easy setup and tracking of everything

Pros

Had a great experience! I started using Method about 6 months ago and I love it. I appreciate how easy it was to set up and how well it helps me track everything.

Cons

I would recommend adding names to the icons for easier navigation.

It's a good tool

Pros

They have a very user firendly site and my customer support rep is knowledgeable and easy to understand.

Cons

I would love for my customer list to match exactly how it looks in QuickBooks. I'm working on getting there.

Easy to use and highly effective

Pros

Loved to use METHOD

Pros

I've had a great experience with Method and their support. It's easy and organized and when we need something changed, it gets done right away.

Cons

I sometimes get logged out of the system for no reason, this is frustrating.

Only syncs with Quickbook desktop

Pros

It's built on QuickBooks Desktop, a feature that's rare for CRMs, that's great. It also offers a number of helpful modules that you pay for the ones you need.

Cons

Customer service has been poor. Emails go unanswered, meetings are often missed or rescheduled and when I try to get help, I am told to "pay more money for development." The system lacks features, has a buggy backend and is not as functional as competing CRMs.

Quick to get the hang of

Pros

It has so many features that work well with all aspects of my job as an area sales manager like sales, estimates and handling other inquiries.

Cons

I have had issues with lagging but I believe this is more due to a weak LTE signal than anything related to Method.

A system that eliminates paper chaos

Pros

I love its ability to generate an estimate directly from an opportunity.

Cons

I can't upload contact data in bulk to the CRM system, which is frustrating. I also struggle with personalizing my sales reports and default views but I wonder if this is because we have so few users and are using basic functionality.

Method is easy to use and well-organized

Pros

Overall experience has been great with this tool. I use it every Monday through Friday at work and have never had any issues, except for the program lagging a bit over time. Method organizes everything really well and the user experience is very easy.

Cons

It tends to slow down after being used all day and the program runs very slowly until you refresh it.
