Good CRM with Quick Setup

Pros

Gave us a great foundation for building our custom app. As a nonprofit with limited staff, we couldn't develop an entire CRM from scratch. This solution was perfect for getting us up and running without having to build everything from the ground up

Cons

Setting up customizations can be frustrating since there's no documentation or guidance available for developers working with the platform, you're pretty much on your own figuring things out.

Flexible Microsoft Based CRM

Pros

I'm really impressed with this crm solution from forceworks. It runs entirely on Microsoft dynamics and comes ready to use right away with everything a growing business needs for customer management. Setting it up in our Microsoft environment was easy and I love how customizable it is. The outlook integration works easily and tracking customer emails and phone calls has become so much easier. The email templates save us tons of time too. What really stands out is how flexible everything is since it's built on standard Microsoft architecture. All the dataverse tables follow Microsoft conventions which means we can extend functionality using Microsoft graph API without any issue. If your already using Microsoft products and need a CRM, I'd definitely recommend reaching out to Forceworks. One thing that gives me peace of mind is knowing that if we outgrow this solution, we can easily evolve to Microsoft dynamics Sales or Service since we're already building on the same platform. It's like having a perfect foundation that can grow with your business, unlimited expansion possibilities through Microsoft integrations as needed.

Cons

There are some specific functions that can create minor hiccups when you're trying to implement more complex customizations. Most businesses probably won't run into these issues but we needed a more traditional relational database setup for linking family accounts and contacts. We also didn't really need the contact "prospect" setup they have. The whole "user" and "teams" structure is pretty confusing too.
