“Do not expect much from it
Pros
What is awesome is that you can use it for free, host it on your own server instead of depending on the cloud and it is very easy to operate. Plus it allows us to build our own modules or find plenty in the community among them some are free, others are paid and they even allow us to customize SuiteCRM in just about any way imaginable.
Cons
Well the support has been disappointing. I have posted questions in the forums and never heard back. There is no phone help for the free version either. The codebase is buggy as sometimes updates fix one issue but mess up something else. If you do not understand how to code, it is easy to break something and create a bigger problem.

“Ideal for small to medium-sized businesses
Pros
Even the free version is packed with custom features that can be adjusted for pretty much any business type. What I really like is that the development team keeps the software secure and regularly rolls out updates even without charging you anything.
Cons
The free version lacks solid support and proper documentation. Also the API feels pretty outdated and could use a complete revamp. Another drawback I noticed is that there is no official mobile app available.
