“Good at following up with customers
Pros
What I like most is that there is no cost at all and I can customize everything according to exactly what I need. Also it gives me full control over how I want to work which is pretty useful for someone managing their own setup.
Cons
There are times when the help docs are not just enough. IT is like you can go looking for troubleshooting tips and end up without clear answers which frustrates me a lot, mainly when I am stuck.

“Ideal for basic CRM features
Pros
The low price of SuiteCRM really drew me in and it also gives me several useful tools. And from creating campaigns to modifying or adding extra features, it is flexible enough to grow alongside what my business requires.
Cons
Right out of the box it does not offer a whole lot. Such as the automation features feel pretty basic and honestly not very user friendly. Also we have had trouble with it more than once and found it a bit hard to figure out.

“Good but has some bugs
Pros
One of the most useful features is how it tracks every part of the sales cycle like contacts, leads and clients. While that is expected in most CRMs I also like the fact that everything is stored in a MySQL or MariaDB database which I can easily back up or export anytime.
Cons
We have come across multiple issues while using it. Some modules have serious bugs for example, the mail module sometimes shows the email as coming from the customer themselves which is wild. This bugs been around for years with no fix. Tons of issues on GitHub stay open for ages without resolution. Even basic IMAP setups do not always work right. Support is mostly volunteer driven and it is not uncommon for questions to go unanswered. Setting it up was also a hassle as we had to hunt for compatible PHP, MySQL/MariaDB and OS versions just to get it running properly. Plus the user interface feels ancient and slows you down when trying to get stuff done.

“Difficult to use
Pros
Something I found quite handy was how smoothly I could save, upload and download contact lists. Plus the fact that there is a free open-source version available to everyone without much hassle is a really amazing and helpful in my opinion.
Cons
One thing that bugged me was the lack of customer support which I really needed. I ran into weird bugs regularly and it just did not work for email marketing or e-commerce. It felt like I was on my own trying to make it work.

“Perfect tool for tracking sales
Pros
No fluff or fancy distractions here. Just an amazing and powerful performance. Also the default reports they offer are quite effective and straight to the point which makes them perfect for us for getting actual work done.
Cons
The lag at times is something that is quite annoying, especially when it comes to generating reports. As it slows everything down and breaks the momentum.

“Top open source CRM
Pros
One of the biggest advantages of using an open source tool like this is that it is not only free to host on our own server but also highly customizable for our or any business. Even if you are not a developer, you can build new modules straight from the interface. Also it comes with full functionality for things like reporting, marketing, customer support and even automating tasks which is hard to find all in one place with other CRMs these days.
Cons
Even though they are working on improving the design it still looks old to me compared to other CRMs. And yes it works but not without quirks. If you are building your own features, it gets tricky because the code relies on older programming methods. That said they are trying to update things over time.

“Its a free open-source CRM for everyone
Pros
The fact that it is completely free makes it a great option for businesses. Plus setting it up is fast and they provide manuals that walk me through the whole process. And I can manage my CRM, quotes, orders and invoices without a problem. I especially liked how easy it was to create templates for invoices and run email campaigns directly from the system.
Cons
Since it is built with PHP and MySQL deploying it on servers is fairly easy. But the issue is that being open source means anyone can get into the code which is both a blessing and a risk if you are not careful. I wish they look into this side soon.

“Has its good and bad
Pros
SuiteCRM is definitely a strong platform that can support a business well into the future. There are a bunch of benefits like being able to add custom fields wherever needed and since it is open source, we can go pretty deep with customizations. What really stands out to us is how effective it is for launching and tracking email campaigns. Also the dashboards and reporting tools are incredibly helpful for seeing what is happening in the business. If those are your priorities then this CRM checks all the boxes.
Cons
We have had issues with the email module not functioning as we expected. Also I feel like the UI could use a serious makeover too. Another downside we have come across is weak documentation and not so great support. And going overboard with customization sometimes makes things unnecessarily complex. Still we find it to be a solid CRM overall.

“Free CRM solution that delivers
Pros
It basically includes all the features that people usually need from Salesforce and honestly, it offers even more on top of that. You do not have to pay a dime if you install and host it yourself and there is no limit on how many people can use it. What I found most impressive is how well it handles managing leads, contacts, accounts and opportunities. The best thing is that I can also add my own fields or even build completely new modules from scratch. Running and tracking email campaigns is totally possible too and though it takes a little effort to set up, it works really well once it is going. The dashboard gives a great visual overview of sales trends and revenue and there are even ERP level features like contracts, projects and quotes built in.
Cons
Well it does offer quotes, contracts and invoicing but depending on your business, it might be more of a hassle than help. For me doing custom automation for clients I found those features too clunky to bother with.

“Best CRM solution for many businesses
Pros
In addition to the open source benefits that come with SuiteCRM I come to the conclusion that it also functions really well as a complete CRM for all types of users. Whether you are a small business or a larger team it offers all the essential tools and keeps everything running well.
Cons
I think the overall user experience could be made a bit smoother. As I am still reading through the documentation to understand it better. However so far I have not had any big issues to complain about it though.

“Works amazing
Pros
Out of all the open source CRM platforms available right now I am pretty much sure that SuiteCRM stands out as the best among the rest. I have been using it regularly and I really enjoy the flexibility it offers. On top of that there is a great community of users who contribute ideas, offer support and share what's worked for them, which makes problem solving and learning new things even easier.
Cons
Every now and then I feel like some essential features are missing. As you might find plug ins for what you need but they either cost extra or do not quite do the job. In some cases, you will even need a developer's help to get it working right.

“Reliable CRM
Pros
One thing I appreciate a lot about SuiteCRM is that we are able to customize almost every screen, field and view to better fit how our processes change over time. That kind of flexibility is key when you are refining business strategies. And because it is built on an open source base, we are able to dive deep into custom changes when we really need to which makes it perfect for a growing and evolving company like ours.
Cons
Occasionally we come across these weird slowdowns where it feels like we are just clicking and waiting. Most of the time it clears up on its own but a few times we had to get our sysadmin involved to tweak things and improve speed again.

“Better than others
Pros
Well I won't go over each feature in detail but I can honestly say that SuiteCRM can easily replace many of the big name open-source or SaaS CRM tools out there. I personally run the community version on our in house server to manage internal workflows and I even set it up for a small nonprofit that needed to organize relationships with their board members and donors. It has become popular enough that you can install it right from most hosting platforms. Also I am really happy that the developers keep it updated regularly and are quick to address any bugs that come up.
Cons
Compared to some other CRM tools out there, it does not have the same sleek and polished feel. It holds its own in terms of features but many parts feel like they were not finished properly or are not user friendly enough. I feel like they could benefit from more refinement and polish.

“Easy to use
Pros
The system is simple to understand and easy to adjust to how we work. We have actually changed some of our internal workflows to fit how SuiteCRM operates and vice versa. There are lots of features available and new ones are released pretty often. Because it is an open-source solution it connects well with other platforms too. I am especially a fan of the no-license model as it means everyone in the company can access it freely without extra costs.
Cons
Well the community based support is a little slow but that is something you should expect mainly when you are using an open-source tool. Also I have noticed that some integrations like with Google Calendar still feel half baked and not fully reliable.

“Best for sales and marketing management
Pros
We are able to build our own modules based on what our team needs and there are lots of ready made ones available for free which is awesome. And whether you are using the module builder or customizing more deeply, you do not need to worry about paying extra for high end features like with other CRMs. Plus the out of the box functionality makes it easier to troubleshoot and fix issues quickly without needing outside help.
Cons
Because there is so much room for customization, you really have to stay organized and document every change as each custom module behaves a bit differently under the hood. Plus a few tweaks from a developer and you are good to go though. I would say it is definitely worth using especially for startups wanting to scale smartly.

“User-friendly software
Pros
What makes this CRM stand out is how simple it is to get around and how much control we have over its setup. Plus being able to customize it exactly to fit our needs is a huge benefit for the kind of work we do.
Cons
While it is decently flexible but there are still some limitations on what I can change visually. As you can only customize so much and that can be a bit restrictive when it comes to layout and design.

“Great to automate business operations
Pros
The best part is that each department can have its own custom module and there is no cost involved. Also there is a big online support network available if I need help with anything. I even found developers in India who offer custom development for around $15 an hour which is honestly a fantastic deal mainly if you are on a budget.
Cons
To me the user interface is a bit of a letdown and it does not support logical expressions which really limits what I can do in some scenarios.

“A top open-source CRM solution
Pros
I genuinely enjoy how clean and minimal the layout is which makes it really simple to use. The interface does not slow you down and overall, SuiteCRM feels stable, secure and trustworthy. These are all the qualities I was looking for as they are very important to me in any software I use for work.
Cons
One thing that is a bit annoying is when I try pulling large reports as the system sometimes freezes or hangs. Despite that hiccup I am still quite happy with how it performs overall.

“The best!
Pros
We needed software that could help us manage catering jobs and most tools out there were way too expensive or did not have what we needed. But SuiteCRM took us by surprise. We just made a few tweaks and added some extra fields and it was ready to go. It even lets us generate and email PDFs which saves us a lot of time and money.
Cons
The only real feature I miss is proper mail merging or being able to export to Word directly. There is a paid add-on that can do this but honestly, it is a little expensive for what it offers.

“Excellent CRM solution available at no cost
Pros
I really believe this is one of the best customer relationship management tools you can get without spending a fortune. Even the free version is loaded with great features and if you are a small business or startup, you can start with that and easily switch to the paid version later when you need more advanced tools.
Cons
Since I have only used the free version, I have not run into any serious issues. For what I needed everything worked pretty well and I did not face any problems.
