“poor price communication
Pros
I enjoyed how usable it's been for the past 6 years.
Cons
They recently doubled our annual price with very poor communication. Then they had a problem charging our bank account (which wasn't our fault) and locked our account. No one was reachable to fix it, it was a complete nightmare. After that experience I can't recommend Teamleader anymore.

“Detailed client database
Pros
You can build your own client and prospect database with as much detail as you want. They even track the click rates on sent invoices which is helpful.
Cons
Teamleader still requires a lot of manual work and could be much better with automation. There's also a significant learning curve to use it effectively.

“it simplifies invoicing
Pros
It's a very convenient product that simplifies the entire invoicing process. The integration with our Belgian accounting system is incredibly comfortable and speeds everything up. It's also great that we can enter all our quotations to keep tight control over the budget.
Cons
We'd really like a way to archive old quotations that have been used or have expired. Right now they all stay in the active deals menu which gets cluttered.

“Easy CRM with integrations, costly add-ons
Pros
The CRM system works perfectly and is very easy to use. The many possible integrations also make a lot of tasks much simpler to handle.
Cons
The integrations and add-ons often cost extra. The CRM package itself also isn't very customizable, you're pretty much stuck with the options Teamleader gives you.

“Great customer overview
Pros
It's a really nice online system that's built around the customer and offers a great user experience. I love having a clear overview of all my customers and deals and the timeline feature that shows a project's progress is fantastic. The ability to create custom templates for offers and contracts is also a huge plus.
Cons
It's incredibly frustrating that you still can't upload multiple files for a customer at once. You have to do them one by one which is time-consuming and annoying. The same goes for removing files. For the price, which isn't cheap, I'd expect more. I'm sure there are more affordable alternatives out there.

“All-encompassing features
Pros
The software is all encompassing and lets you flexibly search the database for deals, companies and contacts. The Chrome widget is great, it tracks any email you send and provides a complete history of client interactions. The task and reminder features also work well to keep me on top of client follow-ups.
Cons
Some of the saving functions could be clearer. Once I figured it out it worked well. It would also be helpful if they created widgets for browsers other than Chrome.

“Great design and tracking
Pros
I really like the design and user experience. It's always clear what you can do and where to find things. The time-tracking feature for projects is very helpful not just for management but for personally keeping track of how efficiently I'm working.
Cons
Some settings aren't explained well and require you to dig around to figure out what to change.

“Simple yet complete
Pros
This CRM is very simple to use and yet very complete. It's the kind of tool that my sales team actually wants to use. The mobile app integration is also great.
Cons
The project management module is pretty basic. For complex projects with detailed task dependencies, you'd be better off using dedicated software like MS Project.

“let down by rigidity and a clunky interface
Pros
Teamleader truly has it all. You can manage clients, contacts and projects with milestones, tasks and budgets. You can track time on tasks to monitor project progress, invoice directly from the platform and export/import those invoices into your accounting software.
Cons
Having everything in one tool is great but the downside is it lacks flexibility and isn't always easy to use. The system is very rigid and the interface isn't the handiest for managing projects and budgets. It works well for fixed-price projects with clear start/end dates and milestones but it struggles with retainer-based contracts. Also the time tracking is a bit difficult making it hard to get the whole team to use it consistently.
