“quick setup with helpful videos”

Pros

Getting the website up and running is very simple which is the part I appreciate most. The videos are especially helpful and do a lot to guide you through the process of building the site.

Cons

The biggest downside for me is the customer support response time. It can take quite a while to get in touch with someone when you need help.

“Simple website builder support”

Pros

Building my website with it went really well. The process felt simple step by step so I was able to put together a really nice site with less effort than I expected. The support team has also been excellent, I've used both live chat and the ticket system and the customer service was very helpful through both channels.

Cons

My only real complaint is that the site I built isn't as mobile-friendly as I hoped. I contacted support and adjusted things like photo sizes but it still doesn't display correctly on cell phones. To be fair, the support team did respond and said they would look into the issue.

“Works well overall”

Pros

Setting up online donations is really easy, it works well across multiple platforms and the fees are low.

Cons

Moving the information into our accounting software has been a bit difficult to sort out. Hopefully that process becomes simpler over time.

“All-in-one app we're glad to have!”

Pros

Having everything in one app has been a big win for us and it's been exciting to see more features and benefits added over time. We're really happy we decided to invest in it.

Cons

Programming side can be challenging at times but support is always there when needed. Our Church App is now live and running and building the website came with its own challenges too. Still, little by little, we're expanding it and improving how we communicate with our people.

Pros

I found getting started to be easy and talking with the account executive was a really positive part of the process. There are a lot of features included and most importantly, it has made a real difference in our church giving. We've seen a significant increase in overall donations.

Cons

There really isn't anything I dislike at this point. We're happy with both the service and the results of working together especially with the growth we've experienced.

“impossible to cancel payments”

Pros

After the setup was finally done, it functioned. That's about the only positive thing I can say. The website was at least up and running when I accessed it which is something but not much beyond that.

Cons

As a donor I tried to cancel my recurring payment and ran into a dead end. Customer support is basically nonexistent. There's no support phone number and when I started a chat, I sat there waiting for two hours with no response before eventually giving up.

“fantastic support and setup”

Pros

One thing I appreciated most was how the website builder and Giving feature were easy to set up. It was a big help especially since I'm definitely not more than ten percent smarter than the equipment and apps I use. The team was incredibly supportive throughout the process and I really couldn't have asked for better service. Many thanks to everyone for all the help.

At first figuring out how to put the menus together was a bit confusing. After spending some time thinking it through and trying a few things, I managed to solve most of the issues on my own without needing to reach out to the team.

Pros

Having everything in one place has been a huge plus for us. Our website, online giving and church management tools are all connected and that setup has made our work much more manageable.

Cons

Receipting and giving features have been a challenge for our bookkeeper to work through. The biggest issue has been trying to get our logo to show up correctly on the tax receipts.

Everything feels easy and dependable and since it's designed with ministries in mind, handling giving, donor management and outreach takes very little effort.

Cons

A few features seemed a bit limited for what our ministry was looking for and the customization options didn't completely line up with the vision we had.

The complete set of resources is incredibly affordable especially compared with other services available. It has been a really valuable addition for our church.

Cons

Website customization options are somewhat limited which makes sense since the sites are template-based. I'd also love to see more detailed analytics for the app.

“Excellent bundle and fantastic service”

Pros

Learning how to navigate it is simple and it doesn't take long to get comfortable with the platform. The bundled package is very affordable and has helped our church save money by replacing multiple products with one solution. On top of that, the service has been fantastic.

Cons

There really aren't any major downsides for me. Most of it just comes with taking the time to learn the products. It would also be helpful to have a way to see how many people are viewing push notifications in the app.

Pros

Right away, the platform felt very user-friendly and clearly built with real users in mind. Each step was simple and I was able to move through my tasks without any friction. The navigation felt natural and the whole experience came across as efficient and welcoming. It's obvious a lot of thought went into making the tool approachable and pleasant to use and I really appreciate how simple it was to engage with it. I'd also be glad to add a more personal touch, like mentioning ministry work or how it helped with a specific event or outreach effort.

Cons

It's nice to see query functionality added for more flexibility but I'm still having a little trouble using it. Certain parts don't feel as simple as I expected and I'd really appreciate clearer guidance or simpler options to make the process easier to follow. That said I do value the continued improvements to this feature and it's encouraging to see that user feedback is being heard.

Having several functions connected in one platform is definitely a nice benefit and makes things more convenient overall.

Cons

The website and newsletter customization tools feel buggy and pretty limited especially when you compare them with other web design platforms like Wix.

After moving our church website from WordPress to Itly, we've been really pleased with the switch. The website builder is very user-friendly and makes it simple to create a clean, professional-looking site. Their customer service has also been excellent and they're always quick to respond.

Cons

Adding images into posts feels a little awkward and not very simple right now. Hopefully that part of the process gets improved in a future update.

Since subscribing to the itly newsletter through the website, I've picked up a lot more useful insight and informative ideas. I'm really grateful we switched to a program that's more affordable and much easier to access.

Cons

One challenge has been getting church members to download the app since it isn't really presented as user-friendly.

Running both my life and ministry has become much more manageable with this. I moved over to their website mainly because the pricing was hard to argue with at $19 a month. On top of that, the way the website and online giving work together is excellent. Every time I've reached out to customer support, the experience has been fantastic.

Cons

I do wish the entry-level website plan included a few more features. Even though the value for the price is really strong some of the additional tools they offer are very appealing and my church just can't justify the extra cost right now. A few parts do feel a bit limited but for what I need in a small church setting, it's honestly hard to complain.

Having everything in a single application has been a huge plus. The payment processing and donor management are easy to follow and the membership tools are especially useful since each person has a profile where we can add notes like allergies and other important details. Newer check-in and forms features have been phenomenal as well.

Cons

Even though I really appreciate having everything in one place, the navigation can still be hard to figure out and even harder to teach to people who don't use the software every day. We're getting ready to move to the new Lithely 3.0 and based on the images and videos, the updated interface looks like it will be much more simple.

Getting started with Sites was easy and the setup process was fast. The customer support team was responsive and really helpful in explaining how to build everything from the ground up. For a busy pastor needing an attractive website that is also practical and user-friendly, this has been a very valuable tool.

Cons

The background check feature still needs improvement to feel more simple for users. The newer MinistrySafe integration in this area is useful but it still seems to be a work in progress.

“Great value for $19”

Pros

At $19 a month, building a church website through the GIVE program feels like an excellent value. The site-building tools are simple to work with and there are plenty of additional church-focused programs available if you want to expand what the platform can do. Customer support has been the best I've dealt with, responses come quickly, the answers are thoughtful and they include clear help articles that actually match the question being asked.

Cons

Compared with other giving options, itly does charge processing fees on donations made through the website, app or QR code which is different from our PayPal account that our congregation can also use. Other than that, I really haven't run into any other issues with itly.

Pros

Using itly has been a really positive experience for a lot of reasons. It's very simple to work with, not only for me but also for our staff and the members who want to use it. It's also very budget-friendly and you get a lot of features and functionality for the price. It has made my job much easier overall. Anytime I can't figure something out, their customer service has been excellent and responds very quickly. I'm extremely happy with itly.

Honestly there really isn't anything I dislike about itly right now. I haven't come across any major issues yet. We've only been using them for a couple of years and at my church we've been slowly exploring everything it can do.
