It's incredibly simple to send text messages to my clients.
Cons
There are often issues or delays when updating auto texts for different office hours or holiday hours. We were told to call Bird eye for these changes but we end up needing to send an email to Birdeye Support with the updated hours. Sometimes there's a delay in updating the auto-text hours, or the updates might be inaccurate for our autoresponse. In some cases, auto-texts are sent to clients at incorrect times or outside the requested schedule. It would be great if update requests were more consistent or if businesses could manage their own auto response edits.

“Let down by the experience

The social media scheduling tool was really helpful.
Cons
The communication in this software was really poor. I went months without receiving any responses to my emails. In the 5 months I was under contract I received fewer than 10 reviews through Birdeye. Their system didn't integrate well with my booking system, which led to multiple missed opportunities. I also had clients receiving multiple review requests even after leaving a review. I had 5 zoom calls to try and resolve my issues but each call took over 45 minutes and left me uncertain about the outcome. The language barrier was a major issue and many things were misunderstood.

“Establishing ongoing social media surveillance
Pros
It consolidates all the features in one place. I loved how it ensured the quality of our posts and allowed us to quickly filter through the rationales and remove unwanted comments. It's great that Birdeye helps us keep track of and manage all our accounts. I also enjoy how easily I can craft various types of responses for different comments. The reports are very comprehensive and efficient.
Cons
Once Birdeye was successfully integrated with all the social media platforms I use, everything became easy.

Pros
It's so helpful to have this tool keeping us updated on the reviews coming in for our clients! It's definitely a huge timesaver. It's also great to receive the reports directly to the person who needs them.
Cons
The software isn't as userfriendly as many of the other tools I've used. It took a while to figure out how to navigate and find everything I was looking for.

Local listing management was decent, but it's a very basic service that we could have found hundreds of places offering.
Cons
Clients couldn't use the system because of constant bugs, outages and downtime. There was also confusion over how to access services, despite the fact that we had to conduct our own training since Bird eye provided no support. They wanted us to work with their overseas teams to diagnose and fix bugs in their own product. Customer support has been rude and combative for the past 6+ months. Without a doubt, they've been the worst vendor we've worked with in over 12 years of business.

Pros
Reputation management was fine. Clients liked the AI features but now every system offers those. The option to share to social media was also a nice addition.
Cons
The onboarding process was a nightmare. Customer support was subpar and most tools weren't their own so they had to reach out to third parties to resolve issues, which happened frequently.
