What Is Ryviu?

Ryviu is an app designed for product reviews and Q&A, built for Shopify and WooCommerce e-commerce stores. It enables merchants to import reviews from marketplaces like AliExpress, Amazon, Etsy, Walmart, DHgate, and Shopee or upload directly via CSV. Product pages feature customizable widgets that showcase reviews and a Q&A section that allows customers to ask and receive answers to questions about a particular product.

What Is Ryviu Best For?

Ryviu software's standout feature is the review importer that pulls reviews directly from top marketplaces like AliExpress, Amazon, Etsy, Walmart, and DHgate. With this functionality, a new store can fill product pages with social proof instead of starting from zero. Merchants simply paste in the source product link, and Ryviu automatically fetches matching reviews, ratings, and photos onto the corresponding listing. This is especially valuable for dropshipping and print-on-demand sellers who often lack any purchase history of their own.

How Much Does Ryviu Cost?

The Ryviu pricing starts at $6.99/month for the Basic plan alongside a free plan. While other pricing plans include:

Advanced: $9.99/month
Unlimited: $19.99/month

In addition to the base subscription costs, organizations should account for the following potential expenses:

Implementation: Between $0–$500 for SMBs; $500–$1,500 for complex deployments
Content Migration: Roughly $0–$500 based on data volume and conversion requirements
Admin And Instructor Training: Typically, $0–$300
SSO, HRIS, And API Integrations: Ranges from $0–$1,000, depending on integration scope

Reviewers on the Shopify App Store describe Ryviu's pricing as affordable, particularly relative to competing review apps. A smaller number of merchants have flagged specific paid features, such as the XML feed on the Unlimited plan, as overpriced compared to alternatives.

For accurate pricing based on your organization’s needs, it’s recommended to request a custom Ryviu pricing estimate.

Ryviu Use Cases

Based on our analysis of user feedback and Ryviu features, we have identified key scenarios where the platform is commonly used:

New Store Needing Social Proof Before Its First Sale

A new store has no purchase history of its own, and buyers are hesitant to be the first customers. Ryviu’s review importer imports existing reviews for the same products from AliExpress, Amazon, or other marketplaces, providing a new store with visible social proof before it can organically generate any reviews of its own.

Dropshipping Store Managing Reviews Across Many AliExpress-Sourced Listings

Dropshippers frequently list dozens or hundreds of products sourced from different AliExpress suppliers, each needing its own set of reviews imported and kept current as suppliers or listings change. Ryviu's AliExpress import, available on every plan, including Free, lets stores pull reviews per listing at scale rather than sourcing social proof one product at a time by hand.

Store Wanting To Answer Product Questions Publicly

Often, customers have pre-purchase questions that they send to support instead of checking the product page to find the answer. This creates repetitive support work. Ryviu’s Q&A feature enables shoppers to ask questions on a product page and see the answers, helping future shoppers who are considering the same purchase.

Growing Store Needing Automated Review Requests

A store with a growing order volume cannot manually email every customer asking for a review. Ryviu's review request email feature automates that outreach after a purchase, without requiring manual follow-up per order.

Is Ryviu Right For You?

Ryviu fits stores that need review collection to scale alongside their catalog, from the Free plan covering a single small storefront up to the Unlimited plan offering unlimited reviews and products. Every plan includes a 7-day free trial, so a store can test the fit before committing to a subscription. Ryviu also integrates directly with platforms like Foxify and Cross Sell, letting merchants display star ratings within their page builder or product recommendation widgets without extra setup.

Ryviu Features

Real-Time Review Alerts

This feature notifies shoppers instantly when a new product review comes in, displayed as a pop-up on the storefront. Ryviu's own materials also refer to this same capability as the Boost Sales Popup feature, surfacing fresh reviews in real time instead of leaving them buried on a separate reviews page.

Customizable Review Widget

Review widgets support masonry or carousel layouts, with design customization available on paid plans. Store owners can match the widget's appearance to their site's existing look rather than using a fixed default design.

Google Rich Snippets And SEO Export

This feature adds star ratings and review data to search engine results through rich snippets, making product listings more visible and clickable directly from Google search. Ryviu also supports exporting reviews to a Google Shopping XML file, so the same review data can appear across paid shopping listings without manual re-entry.
