“Misleading marketing”

Pros

There's a decent amount of UI customization here especially with fonts, colors and the overall look and feel. In some ways, it offers some of the most flexible visual customization I've come across, even if that experience is a bit inconsistent. For someone working solo, the pricing is also fairly reasonable.

Cons

The biggest problem is the misleading marketing. The so-called agency plan which is promoted as being recommended for teams, really is not built for team use at all. We spent hours trying to make it handle very basic team workflows and it just wouldn't. On top of that, the marketing is misleading in another way too: the agency plan does not actually apply agency features across team member licenses. The forced branding is also terrible. Even on the highest paid plan, they still place their large blue logo on your page no matter what your own branding looks like. On my team members page, it's so bad that the logo actually blocks some features. Another major issue is that if you create a booking type from the agency account, it assigns the same meeting location to every member. That makes no sense for an agency setup, how are two different team members supposed to book external meetings at the same time?

“Best scheduling tool by far”

Pros

Getting started with it took almost no effort and using it feels very simple. One of my favorite parts is being able to set up multiple booking types without any hassle.

Cons

Honestly, I don't really have any complaints. I've tried a lot of different scheduling tools over the years and in my opinion it stands out as the best one by far.

“Easy to configure”

Pros

Configuring everything was quick and I really appreciate the different ways you can customize booking links, including setting daily, monthly and other booking limits.

Cons

There's no app and when creating the confirmation email and booking event, changes apply to both together instead of letting you edit each one separately.

“Worth every penny”

Pros

Teaching Spanish lessons means I rely on scheduling a lot and it has been genuinely helpful. The platform feels very user-friendly and setting up my meetings and organizing them into categories is simple. It has absolutely been worth the price and the return I get from it. What surprised me most is how complete the free version is especially compared with other calendar tools that lock even basic features behind a paywall.

Cons

I haven't needed to contact customer support at all since everything has been working without any issues.

“Connects with Google Meet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams”

Pros

It connects with Google Meet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams so both I and the client automatically get a meeting link sent out with the booking. Adding my booking page with all available appointments or even just a single appointment type, to my website is very simple. I can also create paid appointment types and link them with PayPal or Stripe which lets the payment happen as part of the booking flow. Another big plus is that there's no recurring subscription since it's a one-time purchase.

Cons

The team features are limited unless every user on the team has a paid Tier 1 license. There's also no mobile app which feels like a missing piece. On top of that, the web app layout makes setup take more clicks than necessary and could definitely be polished a bit more.

“Tidycal saves me time”

Pros

After using TidyCal for around 4 to 5 years, I've really come to value how simple it is to use and having the lifetime subscription means I never have to worry about yearly fees. It makes sharing my TidyCal calendars incredibly convenient so people can book appointments and connect without any hassle. The automatic Zoom integration is another big plus and makes the whole process much more efficient for everyone. I currently use five different booking types for both client meetings and personal scheduling and having a separate URL for each one is especially helpful since I can send them out bshwl@ by email, text or social media. I also appreciate that TidyCal sends preset email reminders before meetings which saves me a lot of time.

Cons

What would make it even better is adding more design options especially the ability to include images on booking pages.

“Clean interface”

Pros

It has been an excellent tool for me. The biggest advantage is the one-time lifetime payment instead of ongoing subscription charges which makes it a really strong value compared with other scheduling tools. The platform is also simple to use. Its clean, user-friendly interface made setup fast and uncomplicated. I also appreciate being able to create multiple booking types for different needs which gives me a lot of flexibility when organizing my calendar. Another big plus is the customer support , every time I've had a question, the team has been quick to respond, friendly and genuinely helpful. Overall, TidyCal gives me everything I need without unnecessary complexity or recurring costs and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a simple and effective scheduling solution.

Cons

It only lets you use a single currency at a time. Because I work with clients in different countries, everyone has to pay in USD which isn't always the most convenient option for them. Multi-currency support would make the platform even better.

“Works well for scheduling calls”

Pros

Switching to this tool has been a really good move. It feels a lot like Calendly but paying once instead of dealing with a monthly subscription is a huge plus. It works really well for scheduling calls and gets the job done reliably.

Cons

integrations aren't always as simple especially since some platforms don't support connecting with it. I'm also not a fan of being limited to just one booking page. With Appointlet, I can set up multiple pages so I use one for current clients and another for discovery calls. That setup helps prospects see my paid consulting options, while existing clients have their meetings included on their monthly invoice.

“Useful one-time payment option”

Pros

Keeping scheduling simple and straight to the point is exactly where this tool works well. I also really appreciate the one-time payment option instead of another recurring subscription. Setting appointments is simple and the calendar sync works really well which makes managing everything much more convenient.

Cons

A wider range of language translations would make the software more comfortable to use for more people. It would also be better if the API support was expanded to more automation platforms such as Zapier and IFTTT, for example.

“Ability to create different appointment types”

Pros

Right from the start, it feels clean and very user-friendly. I was able to get my booking pages set up in just a few minutes and the integrations with Google Calendar, Zoom and payment options like Stripe and PayPal were really simple to connect. The one-time payment model is a huge plus too especially since most scheduling tools rely on recurring subscriptions. On top of that, being able to create different appointment types, set availability windows and send automated confirmation emails has made a big difference for my small business.

Cons

That said, it does feel a little basic when it comes to advanced functionality. If you need deep CRM integrations or more detailed analytics, it probably won't feel powerful enough. The mobile interface could also use some refinement. It works fine but on a phone it feels more practical than polished.

“Syncs well with Google Calendar”

Pros

It impressed me with how well it works with Google Calendar. My schedule stays synced automatically which helps keep everything current without extra effort. The booking settings are also very flexible so I can manage availability, set buffer times and even include required questions such as consent forms. On top of that, the free plan offers a lot and the one-time premium payment feels very affordable for what you get.

Cons

There are still a few limitations worth noting. It has fewer built-in integrations than platforms like Calendly or Acuity so it may not connect with as many tools out of the box. It also doesn't have a mobile app which makes using it on the go a bit less convenient since everything has to be done through a web browser. And on the free plan, branding options are fairly basic, with custom branding and more advanced personalization locked behind an upgrade.

Pros

Set up process is incredibly simple and even people without a technical background should be able to set it up without any issues. It saves a lot of time compared to other competing tools on the market.

“Handy booking tool for business”

Pros

Bought the LTD for TidyCal on a whim after spotting it on another site and I'm really happy I went for it. Even though I didn't realize I needed something like this at the time, it quickly proved to be incredibly useful for my business. It's simple to work with and I can embed each individual booking page exactly where I need it on my website. Setting my availability is simple and I'm also able to take payments for my services directly through those pages.

Cons

I haven't come across anything I dislike about it.

“Improving steadily”

Pros

It's a simple app that does what you need and AppSumo seems to be actively improving it. It can feel a little slow at times which makes sense for a free tool.

Cons

The feature set is still fairly limited, including the number of connections and some branding options don't offer much flexibility.
