Switching over from a competing product, we were genuinely impressed by how quickly we could set up admin accounts, assign permissions and install the server software on host machines. Even for someone completely new to remote access tools, this product is easy to configure and makes the different components and communication flow easy to understand. It also includes smart card authentication which is a nice plus and it works on both Apple iOS and Android devices.

Cons

One addition I'd really like to see is better mobile support. If we are not using it from a mobile device, that's fine but at the very least there should be an app that lets us monitor a machine while someone is working on it. As with any direct access solution, whatever is on the remote computer is brought into the environment which creates a risk of cross-contamination. I'd also like the ability to switch between monitor displays with a single key press.

“Great support”

Without a doubt the unattended access feature and the ability to transfer a session are the two things that make it much easier for us to resolve our clients' issues. Overall, it works like most remote access tools, with remote printing and other features that are really helpful for us working remotely.

Cons

Mobile access still doesn't fully convince me but aside from that, everything else is excellent.

Pros

From connecting to a work PC from home to helping someone troubleshoot from another location, it has been a dependable and secure remote desktop tool for accessing and controlling another computer over the internet. It works across Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android so connecting to almost any device is very convenient. It also includes useful features like screen sharing, file transfer and chat which help a lot with team collaboration and technical support. The software is user-friendly, easy to set up and comes with clear instructions and a simple interface.

Cons

At times, I ran into performance problems with it, including delays and lag while using the software. Its security has also faced criticism in the past since older versions had some discovered vulnerabilities. That said the company has taken steps to strengthen security in the newer versions.

Right from the start the overall interface felt quite good to use. Security is clearly very well developed and the installation process is not especially difficult. This tool allows a relatively small company to deliver technical support at a level comparable to that of any multinational.

Cons

I am not sure whether this has been improved by now but at the time we definitely missed having a more complete knowledge base covering common errors, installation issues and other incidents that can come up during implementation and day-to-day use of the software. Still, once you get through the initial period of learning and dealing with new problems, it becomes a very complete and powerful tool.

Remote access to servers works well without interfering with what is shown on the display. It's user-friendly and includes great security features.

Cons

Some security appliances and firewalls classify it as a high-risk application which can cause internet connections to be dropped automatically.

Working from home has been much easier with this tool. The interface is user-friendly the setup process is very easy and employees can operate devices from anywhere without much trouble.

The pricing feels a bit expensive. I also noticed some slight lag when switching between remote devices but aside from that the software works well.

Connecting to either Windows or Linux hosts is easy and the remote machine can share its screen with the technician so support can be delivered efficiently.

In some situations, audio is really needed to communicate better. In more complex cases especially when the customer cannot receive a call, having audio access would improve how effectively the issue can be resolved.

Right from installation, everything is easy. The software installs quickly, is easy to configure, works very well for controlling PCs on the same network or through a VPN and is simple to use overall.

Managing file transfers from the remote PCs is more complicated than it should be.

For the past two years, this software has been a huge help. During the pandemic, it made it possible for me to connect to my work system and run simulations without trouble. It's very easy to use, stays stable and I would absolutely recommend it.

Setup is fairly easy and it lets us handle tasks remotely without much hassle. The iOS app works really well and when the internet connection is great the responsiveness is excellent.

A few of the strengths also come with drawbacks. Even though setup is reasonably simple, it could still be more user-friendly and if the internet connection is weak the service can become a bit unreliable.

I really like that I am being able to log in to my PC from my phone and quickly access files, data and anything else I need at the moment. It also lets me keep MetaTrader running on my computer while I monitor market movement through it.

Cons

Interface and the buttons when I connect from my phone could be better.

What impressed me most was being able to access a user's desktop remotely without disrupting what they were seeing on their screen. After a connection is made successfully the session is saved in recent activity so reconnecting to the same PC later is quick and easy through the previous session shortcut. The connection was consistently stable and I did not run into random disconnections, except in cases where there was a network failure during the troubleshooting incident.

i did not have any complaints. It worked extremely well for live remote troubleshooting sessions and has been a great fit for our division.

“free access after setup”

Pros

After the initial configuration is done, this software is fantastic. It lets you connect to your PC in seconds, for free, from dozens of different devices. In terms of features, it is very comparable to TeamViewer. Once everything is properly set up the overall experience is really excellent.

Cons

For anyone who is not especially skilled with PCs, this program can be brutal. It is true that it works well once configured but getting to that point is the hard part. You first have to figure out that there are two separate applications, one for the input side and one for the output side. Then there is the PC password which is different from the account password and also different from the computer password which makes things even more confusing. On top of that the software often logs out and stops working. Objectively the setup feels like a nightmare and every time you open it, you worry that it may not work.
