Runs in the background and I never need to think about it. No learning curve or bugs and issues.

Can't say there's anything I dislike it. I trust it to do its job. Have never had to lift a finger to do extra work here.

DDoS protection works very well. R2 works just fine as a cheap S3 replacement and cloudflare workers have been handy for cheap compute (PDF generation in our case). Security Center dashboard gives a good high-level overview of security/config issues to pay attention to.

Difficult learning curve for someone new to Cloudflare. Cloudflare workers pricing recently underwent a change potentially resulting in new charges for our existing use case.

Pros

Our website is now super fast I really love that also that we get automatic protection against stupid bot attacks. It’s also a quiet runner in the background and keeps the glide working without needing a whole lot of hands-on time.

Dashboard is confusing if you’re not technical. Some of the settings feel dangerous to touch without fully understanding what they do.

The amazing number of resources and service even in the free plan! They have all the bases covered to secure your site.

After a disastrous experience with our existing DNS provider (Crazy Domains) which, after 6 hours, couldn't even provide any information on when their service would be up and running again, we switched to Cloudflare and the re-routing was instant. So totally recommended. We advise creating an account with these guys so if you need to use them in a hurry, everything is all set.

Working decent enough for a free product is what it does and Cloudflare's WARP is a nice free VPN to stabilize the internet connection of a device.

After installing, starts to act like bloatware a lot of times and many times won't let you use it until you update it to latest version.

Increased data flow speed and efficiency come from using this platform which leads to fast work completion and good performance and it is quite an understanding and smart platform. It helps us to prevent our data from malicious websites and attacks. The Cloudflare team helps just perfectly in managing setup and at the time of onboard.

Due to the lack of cloud technology knowledge, there are little issues in managing and understanding the platform in starting due to complexity but later on it is an essential part now.

I like that Cloudflare is incredibly easy to set up and that there are plenty of resources online centred around it. It also helps improve website security and increase performance and the website is incredibly easy to navigate even for someone who is new to this.

Unmatched bot prevention and DDoS attack prevention is where Cloudflare stands out and it is the best in the market! After trying and testing various products, I can tell with confidence that Cloudflare is the best. The features, quality, pricing are all unmatched.

The service they provide making it worth the price is why I don't mind the pricing being a bit on the higher side, considering that there is volume for your service.

Providing access on a granular basis to third party vendors or clients is something I can easily do using Cloudflare permissions management and I also love the fact. I love how easy it is to set up and manage DNS on Cloudflare and also the amount of functionality including the creation of landing page templates and redirection rules.

It seemed to work, until I needed to cancel service and then the website was broken.

When I needed to cancel service, well good luck with that. There's no obvious way to do it. They run you around. The website doesn't work right (links on the subscription page don't work, 404 error, etc). and it still says I'm going to be billed for another year. Finally I opened a ticket and then another ticket when I didn't get a response. Then I tried contacting them by phone but they don't want to talk so the automated message told to me to open a support ticket. Chat is useless even if you pose as a sale. Still no human, as you get to fill out a form. So they really just do NOT want to hear from customers at all. And their support form has a million questions making it hard to reach them. For now, I have no recourse but to wait to see if my ticket is addressed and if not, do a chargeback and fight with them at the banking level. I'm going to see if I can prevent the bank from allowing a charge from them but the absurdity of feeling like I need to do that is ridiculous. I do not run my company this way. Complete opposite. We answer phones.

Pros

Enough basic protection from the free version is what it provides, along with securing the sites.

It is easy to use with included SSL certificates, DDOS protections, bot protections and more.
