Decent tool

Pros

Personally I feel like its biggest strength is the accuracy with which it mixes.

Cons

What I dislike the most is that the voiceover recording quality is really poor.

excellent software

Pros

Acid Pro is the legendary music sequencer known for its use of sound loops in music composition. It offers a massive library of categorized sound loops. And with its fully featured mixer you can mix an unlimited number of tracks supporting 5.1 mixing. Also acid Pro comes with 19 virtual instruments and high quality effects and external plugins like Izotope Ozone, CoreFx Suite, MAGIX Analogue Modelling Suite Plus, Celemony Melodyne 5 and more.

Cons

It is more geared towards electronic music production. Plus it requires online activation and I even noticed that the upgrades can be quite expensive.

A fan of it

Pros

I have been using ACID for years experiencing all its ownership changes, periods of neglect and resurgence. It used to be one of the most powerful DAWs and audio manipulation platforms around. It was doing things with timestretching and mapping that Pro Tools and Cubase could only dream of. Ableton Live owes much of its existence to ACID's innovations. And though it had some rough patches it no longer has the issues it used to.

Cons

Well it fell behind over the years due to being bought and sold several times and as a result it has had to catch up in the last few years. So yes I do run into occasional bugs and the latest versions have not added much except bundling VSTs I dont really need.
