“user friendly and interactive tools”
Pros
Working with it is very user friendly and the tools are easy to understand and use. It's also quite interactive which makes my overall experience better.
Cons
At times the bone tool doesn't respond properly to the bind layer.

“versatile animation powerhouse”
Pros
Moho is easy to use and it also offers me a very powerful and flexible toolset. It has improved a lot over the years in my experience and honestly it deserves far more recognition than it usually gets from me. The way everything is put together is thoughtful and it's clear that the developers designed it with care.
Cons
Some older versions had problems with crashing, although that hasn't been an issue for me in the more recent releases. That said, you do need a pretty powerful computer if you want to take full advantage of everything it can do.

“user friendly tools with workflow limits”
Pros
Getting into Moho Pro as a first-time cartoon and drawing user felt pretty approachable. The interface is user friendly and the tutorials and built-in guidance are genuinely helpful when I am starting out. When I run into something the software does not seem to handle directly, I can usually come up with a workable alternative for myself which has been reassuring. The drawing tools also feel more natural and fluid now which is a nice improvement. They may still not appeal to everyone at first but they do not take long to adjust to and end up working quite well. There are also plenty of presets available and creating my own custom presets is easy.
Cons
Support for FBX files is fairly limited. You need to transfer sprite sheets and text can end up taking over the page. On top of that, not every feature works properly in Unity. Since Unity is required and there is no runtime support for video game engines, a lot of animation capabilities, including integrated vector-based features, end up restricting what you can do.

“excellent vector import for animation”
Pros
One thing I really appreciate about Moho 12 is how well it handles vectors I import from Adobe Illustrator. Compared with the previous version, Moho now preserves the vector points much better when I bring files in from Illustrator. Another big improvement is with bitmap animation, since I can use pin bones to manipulate the entire image and create multiple animated effects without having to convert several strokes into vectors first.
Cons
There are still two issues that bother me. First, when importing Illustrator elements, the original colors are not preserved, so a lot of time gets wasted restoring or reapplying the colors the artwork already had in Adobe Illustrator. Second, everything comes into Moho as a single layer. If I created a character in Illustrator with each part organized on separate layers, Moho still reads it all as one layer. That means spending a lot of extra time separating each element into its own layer again before starting the animation. Moho really needs better compatibility with vector software.
