Nomad Sculpt

As artists sculpt, Nomad automatically adds polygons where detail is being applied and removes them in smoother areas. This eliminates manual mesh management mid-session. It also helps keep performance stable while enabling fine local detail work without inflating the overall polygon count across the model.

Nomad provides a set of adjustable primitive shapes, including sphere, cylinder, torus, tube, and lathe. These can be configured parametrically before being converted into sculpt-ready meshes. This gives artists a structured starting point for both organic forms and hard-surface work without importing external base meshes.

Objects in a scene can be parented so that by moving a parent, users can automatically reposition its children. This is useful for posable figures and modular assemblies. Repeaters allow objects to be mirrored or instanced along curves. This reduces repetitive placement work across multi-part models.

Nomad Sculpt features automatic generation of UV coordinates by using facegroups to guide unwrap quality across complex surfaces. Vertex color, roughness, and metalness data can then be baked into texture maps for use in external applications. Moreover, texture data can be transferred back into vertex values for continued editing inside Nomad.

Multiple named cameras can be saved within a single scene, each with an independently adjustable field of view or orthographic projection. Orthographic mode supports proportion checking and reference-matching. Additionally, saved cameras allow artists to return to consistent viewing angles throughout a sculpting session.

The interface supports finger, stylus, and mouse inputs simultaneously, with each assignable to different operations independently. A wide range of functions can be bound to keyboard shortcuts, stylus buttons, or gamepad controllers. Floating toolbars can also be created and positioned anywhere on screen to match individual device setups.
